McDonald’s

Why doesn’t McDonald’s Corporation hold this franchise accountable? Maybe bc it’s a goldmine for business since we don’t have options around here. Staff is awful, coffee is cold, food & services is always terrible! But I still return for the punishment bc again lack of choices! Tonight I placed my order & when I got to the window to pay they didn’t have it so I had to repeat it. There were more people working than there were customers at the time of night I was there. I can’t tell you how many times I have been asked to pull forward into a parking space & wait on my order & tonight was no different. But this time I refused, again there were more staff than customers-​it was 10PM bad Manager allowing staff to screw around! I happened to be in my PJ’s & worried that they’d forget & leave me sitting parked so long I’d end up having to walk inside to get my food. They were very ticked off at me for saying I wouldn’t pull forward, then I became concerned with their lack of leadership & morals that they may have tampered with my food so I just asked for a refund-​they told me to come inside to get it-​I explained again I was in PJ’s. After they realized I wasn’t going to move out of that line they finally got their butts in gear & gave me a refund. It shouldn’t have resorted to this but I’m so fed up & over the poor service. I left without dinner but I’m better off anyway. People need to take the time to phone Corporate so this place get’s looked at very closely.

Thursday night, 8pm. 17 cars in the drive thru, 8 cars in the parking lot. Took 19 mins to get 2 small ice cream cones… At this point it has become a game I am sure of it. STAY AWAY!!! This place SUCKS.

Yesterday, I went to this McDonald’s because the other one I usually go to was packed. I just wanted to get a happy Meal for my daughter. The lady on the intercom asked if I wanted apple slices or gogart, I said both like I usually do at the other McDonald’s. She said I could only get one, so I said why don’t you just take the frys out, that’s what the other McDonald’s does. She had to ask and then said ok. And then after I got the happy meal and drove away my daughter cried because saying where was her apples and yogart. They ended up just giving her frys which is not even close to what I said. I think they did it on purpose, I don’t like this McDonald’s. The other McDonald’s on ellsworth and Rittenhouse is much better, they actually know what they’re doing.

I have read the Unilocal reviews for this location, and they are not very good. I have always had great service at this McDonald’s restaurant. Given the high volume of traffic, especially children, the restaurant is kept very clean, and the bathrooms are usually extraordinarily clean for a McDonald’s. Staff has always been friendly to me. Our motorcycle group often meets in their parking lot and I am a happy customer.

I finally have became pretty frustrated with this location. Every time I’ve tried to order a latte (which is on the menu by the way) they can’t make it because their «machine is down». Seriously, it’s been months.
The next issue we had was ordering smoothies. The mix was either not prepped and we would have pretty significant wait or «the machine was down». Their misfortune with broken equipment doesn’t end here though. This morning we ordered juice, and the «machine was down».
I’m about to stop going there all together, and am wondering if the «machine is down» is code for «we don’t want to be bothered with it».

Safe to say at all drive thru windows, check your order at the window. I did not do so and got home to find my large fry box was maybe half full — and NO the fries were not in the bottom of the bag. They don’t have any quality control or care about their customers. If they ran out I would rather wait for the next batch than be sent off with less than I paid for. Maybe it does take a rocket scientist to completely fill a French fry box.

Terrible!!! McDonald’s is known for the best fries in the fast food service, but is was not the case today. I asked for fresh fries and I got cold hard and DOUBLE DIPPED fries not once, not twice, but three times I’d ask for fresh fries and the sent me crap!!! They dropped my card out the ground and when I ask for them to give me a wet napkin to pick it up, he looked at me and walked away and never came back. The burgers were dry and smacked together… Never will I ever eat the nasty place again!

I’ll review this in comparison to other McDonald’s. I had kids with me and the play area is large but almost every table was dirty, despite it being quiet. My 9 year old went to ask for honey, and was repeatedly ignored by staff, even though there were no less than 8 people buzzing behind the counter, including some in regular clothes, so I assume they are management. The biggest problem was that this location does not do the 1.99 happy meal Wednesday’s, which I would have known had they answered the phone any if the 5 times I called to check.

today went this mcdonalds, usually sausage mcmuffin is $ 1 and hash brown also $ 1 today muffin $ 1.59 and hash brown $ 1.29 and then cause my daughter wanted a burger and I wanted a double cheeseburger charged me 40 cents to have shredded lettuce added cause“not part of that burger” quess they are having to make up those falling profits somehow… needless to say last time going to mcdonalds based on how I was gouged by two trips there today. also took over 15 minutes to go thru the drive in window service and no one every said anything about it… guess they just don’t care about how a customer feels…

This store is everything a resurant should not be. Between bad service, bad leadership, inconsistent food, orders always wrong over three items. I think I will start taking my buisness elsewhere.

I wish sincerely that I could give NO stars. We went through the drive thru at 11:40 pm tonight and waited at the speaker for two full minutes before anyone even spoke to us. We placed our order and then pulled to the window where we waited another three minutes before paying. After paying, I noted on the receipt that they had our order wrong. They listed an Oreo mc flurry instead of M&M, a ranch grilled snack wrap instead of a plain one with honey mustard on the side, and a sausage mc muffin instead of an egg and cheese mc muffin. I let the girl at the window know it was wrong. We got our food after another five minutes and we saw they forgot our fries and when I told her, she shut the window on me and then came back several minutes later and told us it would be another 2 minute wait. I told her we wouldn’t wait and as we were pulling away my daughter found that the chicken snack wrap was wrong and had ranch on it and that they still gave us a sausage mc muffin instead of the one we ordered. I pulled back around and attempted to go in but the doors were locked; although two employees were chumming it outside leaning against a car. They told me the door was locked and I told them our order was incorrect on multiple levels and I needed to talk to a manager. The employees just kept looking at me and one was texting on her phone. I got sick of wasting time and ended up throwing the food away. This McDonald’s obviously needs some competent workers. Don’t waste your time here!!!

The person in front of my wife paid for our breakfast yesterday. Yes, we then paid for the person behind us… Anyway, they forgot to give my wife her sausage patties in her pancake breakfast so she called the manager after getting home and realizing it and she hooked us up with 2 free Big Mac’s, 2 Medium Fries, and a 20 piece McNugget (later on in the day) for our troubles. Needless to say we were pleased with her making the botched order more than right, and also we were fat and happy for the rest of the day. Like, really fat.

Close to my house and it’s great for a quick breakfast in the morning. I suggest the egg white delight on a biscuit with bacon. Fish sandwiches are also very good. Place is clean, fast, friendly, and a great atmosphere.

Can they go out of buisness already so we can get a better fast food joint out here…

You have no idea how terrible an establishment can be until you check this place out. I actually truly recommend going to this McDonalds because it’s something everyone should experience once in their lifetime. Fast food is notorious for poor service, but this place takes the cake. Just go in and sit down at a table and watch. DO NOT EAT THE FOOD! Just go sit down and watch. Bring some booze and get ready to be amazed.

worst Customer Service ever !!! Ordered 2 Sausage MC Muffins and a Caramel Mocha. Had to wait 20 (!!!) minutes to get my Food, while people that came in after me, ordering almost the same thing than me got their Food quickly. It was super busy, and they only had 1 Guy at the Register. He tried to do the best he can and was nice enough to apologize. The Manager however, could not care less that her Business is so mismanaged. Here is a hint: If you know you are busy in the morning, schedule more people to get the orders in, TIMELY !!!
Got home, and my Coffe Cup was only half full. Thanks, MC Donalds!!!

Nothing against this specific location, but I think I might die several years earlier than I should having eaten at Mcdonald’s several times in my life. The food is always terrible, it tastes old. Similar to eating week old leftovers from your buddies fridge… but worse. I feel physically ill each time I eat there! However, they did have an Egg Nog shake, around the holiday season, that was awesome!

Another «wonderful» visit to the Gantzel Road McDonalds last night. Not a very complicated order, but they still managed to screw it up. When we got home, the Deluxe quarter pounder turned into a quarter pounder with cheese, and we did not receive the McRib we had ordered at all. All the food was tired, the buns were hard and the meat cold. We go to this store only because it is located a few blocks from our house.

I’ve had good, bad and in-​between service and food from this location, but tonight was gnarly.
Stopped on at 10 PM on a Friday night; they do get backed up but then everything moves along, then backs up again, repeat.
When I got to the takeout window she asked what I had ordered and had two bags of food there, so I made sure to double-​check I got the right one. What I *didn’t* check was the drink – once I got home and sat down to have my meal, I discovered I was given something I can’t drink.
They seem to be overwhelmed when they are busy; another time I had one partial order forgotten and when I drove back around they had just closed, and wouldn’t look up when I knocked on the door.
But the biggest issue – tonight, anyway – was the food. I just had one of the worst fast-​food burgers I’ve ever had and would have thrown that out along with the drink, but I didn’t get the groceries bought today andI didn’t want to go buy another take-​out meal.
My usual pattern is if I get burned by a place it will be a long time before I go there again – and it will be a long, long time before I go back to this McDonald’s – which is no great loss to me, and better for my health.

There is no way to give a NO star rating
This restaurant is ABSOLUTELY filthy. four managers running around with their heads cut off and no one doing anything. Dead bugs on the floor and soda spilled throughout restaurant. Worst Mc Donald’s I have ever experienced.
