Fantastic bang for the buck, one of the best values around, great ingredients to choose from, fresh and so delicious!

This place, while passable was by no means the best Mongolian that I have been to. The hostess/waitress greeted us when we entered but there was not a definite clarity, given by a sign, that it was seat yourself, as it turned out to be. Sadly, though the restaurant was relatively clean at first glance, the sauce bar was atrocious, making me question my choice to eat there at all. The last thing you want to see in a place where there is uncooked foods available for the public to access is disarray and uncleanliness. Suffice to say, I got my one plate and I have determined it was not worth the low price for my meal, due to its possibility for food borne illness and the general lack of quality in the entire experience. I would say, if you are desperate for Mongolian, look elsewhere and hope that this place is soon replaced by something more worthy or at least becomes slightly better taken care of.

Great deal for lunch! $ 8 for all you can eat Mongolian grill. Comes with soup, egg roll and fried rice. Veggies are fresh, great selection of meats including seafood(all frozen meat like most Mongolian Grill restaurants) and the people who run it are very nice. I’d go back for sure.

Very good and the best prices, though surprisingly few customers. Buffet includes excellent hot and sour soup, egg roll, fried rice plus unlimited trips through the good variety grill. A favorite.

I have come hear a couple times because it’s pretty good food and price isn’t bad but the people that work there are straight up rude. When we were eating my 1 year old son got a little fussy so I took him out of his high chair for a bit and right away the lady came over and said«I guess you don’t need a high chair anymore» and took it away when I still planned on using it. Then she pulled out the vacuum while we were eating and started vacuuming under our table I had to move over since she was vacuuming under our table. Never going back after this.

THISPLACEROCKS!!! Found it on randomly today while running errands. Great find. I’m definitely coming back. By far the best Mongolian grill in the area. Large selection of meats and veggies. They have shrimp, fake crab, squid, scallops, lamb, steak, chicken, pork, and cubed ham EVENATLUNCH. All for $ 9.99. Also includes soup and an eggroll. Fantastic deal!!! Service is great!!!

Best Mongolian Grill in the area. Nice selection of meats and veggies. Like that they have an all white meat chicken. The veggies are always really fresh. Go heavy on the sauce. The addition of the soup rice and egg roll makes it unbeatable for the price.

It was pretty ok. Nothing stood out as bad or good. I’d go again if I had to. They need to have gluten free soy sauce or teriyaki sauce.

A new favorite of ours! The ingredients were kept fresh and looked fabulous. Each staff member was delightful, with smiles and quick service. The restaurant was kept clean and bright. We enjoyed the«full buffet» for $ 20, which included soup, rice and egg rolls for each of us in addition to their unlimited buffet. I particularly enjoyed the variety of sauces the offer.

Small and clean! Many of the choices were empty and we had to ask for them to be filled. $ 6.99 for lunch, $ 9.99 for dinner — drink is extra. Our 2nd trip up to the bar everything was stocked and ready to go! Missing oyster sauce which I thought was a staple. The garlic sauce appeared watered down with chunks of garlic. I usually use 2 – 3 scoops but here I needed 4 – 5 to get the desired taste. Not my absolute favorite but it’s close– we will return ;)

IMO hands down, #1 in quality of ingredients and value for Chinese food in Puyallup. $ 6.99 for lunch but eat in is «No Doogie Bags» Get it to go. They’ll let you fill 2 bowls full of fresh meat, veggies, sauces, etc. The variations are endless and I can get ALOT in those two bowls. The key to a great meal is the right combination of sauces and DON’T SKIMP. Add soup and egg roll and your taking home 2 days worth of grub. Plus, I like knowing what goes into my food. At some Chinese restaurants, as we all know, that CAN be a mystery.

I visited Shanghai Mongolian grill for the first time today with a group of people from work. The food wasn’t too bad, but just like my last review, I wasn’t too thrilled with the buffet style presentation. There was a good selection of meat, vegetables and sauces. Although I couldn’t tell the difference between the two sauces I tried. Not bad. But I“d rather just go to a good teriyaki place instead.

Overall this place wasn’t bad. The food was good the service was nice, and my wife and I had a comfortable dinner on our date night. There are a few things that happened that some might have Been frustrated with. First was that they had a difficult time keeping the veggies stocked. It was about 7pm(they didn’t close till 10) and about 20 customers, not too busy but it seemed that most of the veggies were bottom of the barrel, maybe they didn’t want to run out before the End of the evening but as a customer I see this as being kind of cheap. Also the cooking sauces were so low you couldn’t get a full spoonful of most sauces… Once you got to the grill the one chef would only make one dish at a time, I waited in line with about 6 other people, and wondered why the chef had such a large cooking area but only heated one dish at a time, I waited about 10 min for my food to be cooked while my wife finished her dinner and waited for me to eat mine, also while standing next to the cooking area my clothes smelled like I were the chef. personally this place has the potential to be allot more, a few minor touches and I can see this place being very busy at dinner time. I overheard some of the customers saying they will be back or see you next Saturday. I would come back here again also. I think for now that this place would be a good lunch spot. Again the people were nice and the food was good. this would be a good dinner spot prior to going to the movies because you are eating very quickly after entering the door.
