Jc Nails and Spa

I have gone here many times for waxing. They take walk-​ins which is nice and week days they are rarely too busy to take me in within a few minutes. The waxing is not a great job, but okay… I have had not anybody anywhere do a wonderful job. However, the last time I went to JC Nails is the last. One of the ladies, an older one, was extrememly rough and the wax was too hot. I can handle hot, but not when it burns my skin! She literally ripped my skin in areas and it was burned. It was red and peeled. I get waxed all the time and I don’t have particularly sensitive skin. She was in a hurry for no reason. The salon was not busy. Perhaps their pedicures are great. But don’t go for their waxing, you might get burned.

I LOVE this place. I religiously get a pedicure and a fill every two weeks. I wouldn’t go anywhere else, the staff is very nice and it’s very clean. My favorite part is the massage and hot stones in the pedicure. Great business, I will be a forever client.

It is always a easier to go here! Even in busy days the ladies always make time for you. They always do a great job in my nails and the prices are very good. Thank you ladies!

I’ve had a few poor experiences here back to back… This last one tops the cake. came in to get pedicures with my four-​year-​old — they put our feet in water and said it would be just a few minutes… 45 minutes later we were still waiting, and with our feet in water couldn’t really just get up and walk out. I felt like they did that intentionally to keep us. By the time our technician sat down our feet were prunes and the water was cold — and then they did a rushed job and left a lot of dry skin on the bottom of my feet.
They have also made my husband bleed while giving him a pedicure.
They really care more about volume of customers than the quality of their work. A couple times I’ve said I won’t go here again — but that last experience was the last straw!

WORSE NAIL SALON IN THE PUGET SOUND. This nail salon is the absolute worse nail salon I’ve ever encountered. First I come in for a full set. The lady drills my nails so hard it begins to hurt and she drilled parts of skin until they bled. Then she doesn’t even ask what I want my nails to look like nor the length, so I have to tell her before she gets too far that I want LONG OVAL shaped nails that are half black and half glitter. She then gives me this pointy ass ugly lookin nails after I told how I wanted them. I point it out and she is very rude and reshapes them so much they are pretty much the same length as my original nails. Then she get nails glue all over my HANDS. Also when she wanted me to move my hands she yanked on them or shook them instead of using words to tell me what she needed me to do. Then her bright ass decides to paint my nails black and silver when I clearly wanted glitter… Once she’s done with my nails she storms out and leaves because her shift is over. When I go to leave I explain how she did nothing I wanted and I even brought pictures, the guy was very rude! Not the first time their nail techs have done a horrible job. This was the last straw. THE WORST SALON IN SOUTH HILL. If you value your nails and your money you will take your business elsewhere. Biggest waste of money ever.

I really liked the way they did my nails until today. I left bleeding 6 out of 10 cuticles had skin broken she drilled so hard.(I’ve been getting my nails done for a very long time and this has never happened, so I know the problem is not me) I asked her to back off because it hurt. She kept drilling my cuticles. I showed another nail tech and she cleaned the blood off my broken skin (it hurt even worse) and said I could go to someone else next time. No there will not be a next time. Do not go here!!! I’m just hoping I don’t get an infection.

I made the mistake once of going across the street to «shiny nails» and they not only butchered my feet, cut my nails so short they were painful, but their «massage» was a joke.
What a nice surprise to find this place across the street! Literally couldn’t be more night and day. Got a shellac pedicure. The salon is clean, pedicure chairs are really nice and very adjustable. They spent a lot of time massaging and rubbing my legs and feet and being 9months pregnant, I definitely appreciated that! They also did a light «hot stone» rub as well.
I will definitely be coming back. I love around the corner and it’s so nice to have found some place so close that actually does a good job!!!

Not busy at all actually they where waiting for me to pick a color. I’m trying color since pink and whites are more. Place is clean the chair is great I had to turn down the power. They actually know how to cut cuticles my cuticles always need so help, and so far in my search this is the first place. I hope they do just as good on my hand! This pedicure so far is the best I have had in the 15.00 price range (actually 13.00). I will be unhappy if when I go to pay it is different. Sadly my toes where painted horribly I will have to fix them at home. My fill has not started well either. I had a very difficult time explaining I just wanted pink and white fill. It was a horrible experience it ended up costing double the amount I was told and the sign on the door said I could have gotten a full set and spa mani pedi for what I paid, and my toes are painted worse than if I did them at home, my nails are just as bad not clean looking thick not smooth didn’t clean underneath. Only positive aspect is my cuticles. I will be making the drive to magic nails in Auburn from here on out, as soon as I can afford to go in and have my nails fixed, as like many of us I’m on a budget so being overcharged and needing to have them redone I will have to wait:(worst pedi and fill ever!

They do a pretty good pedicure ! Only problem was that sometimes they’d cut too much and it would just hurt… but the hot rocks felt great and they were pretty nice and relaxed. My boyfriend and I went this morning.

Fam is sweet and does a great pedi!!! I hate getting my nails and eye brows done but nancy is fast and a perfectionist.

I’ve been coming here for about 2 – 3 years now, and love this place. I come every two weeks for a pedicure, and a «fill» on my nails. They make their own gel powders for «fills», and the color selection is awesome! Everyone is nice, and the prices are reasonable. They get really busy on the weekends, so it’s best to call ahead.

I haven’t gotten my nails done in a few months, but I decided to go and try this place.. . Previously I was going to Ivy Nails on Canyon (which I love, but I just wanted to try this place). I came in for a full set of acrylics.. . The salon is nicely decorated, & clean. The staff is pretty friendly, but they don’t really talk to you much. The man who did my nails did a good job, but he was on his phone a bit, & didn’t talk to me at all. My nails look OK, but I think I’ll be going back to Ivy Nails, they actually talk to me, & their acrylics look a lot better.

HORRIBLE!!! Went there today for a fill and pedicure. Second time getting a pedicure there. First was decent. This one?! My god! Wish I could turn back time and say no! Both my big toes are now swollen and painful to touch. Just great considering I have a wedding to go to this week. The lady doing them kept digging around my nail on both to cut stuff out that wasn’t supposed to be cut and didn’t need to be cut or dug out at all! I’ve never had someone do that before. I pulled my feet back a number of times. Said ouch and she kept doing it! Didn’t even acknowledge the fact I was in pain! I can already tell you they’ll be infected. FML!

I’m from out of town and needed my nails done desperately. This place was better than just about every nail salon I’ve encountered in southern California, and the prices were MORE than reasonable! It was clean, staff were friendly and extremely professional. The hot-​stone pedicure was wonderful, and my gel French manicure is still holding up after a camping trip and two weeks with the nieces and nephews.
They did a wonderful job after my 19+ hour drive. This nail salon will now become a ritual when I come to Washington.

Friendly and very nice

I started going here because it was a new facility and very clean. They are great and treat you well. I come here when I’m pregnant and can’t reach my feet. :) Have always had a good experience.
