Springside Cheese Shop

Who knew that there is WAY more types cheeses than I thought I know. Walking in to this little quaint shop I was in for a treat. A few months back hubby & I visited his brother days before my marathon race. It’s his go-​to place when he craves for anything ‘cheese’. Every item in that store is not cheap but well worth every extra dollar you spend. I HIGHLY recommend this place!

Amazing artisan cheese shop right here in Pueblo. Affordable, great selection, and you can sample before you buy. You can find this store on 5^th and Elizabeth, just down from the new court house.

I stopped into Springside Cheese on a Saturday afternoon about hearing about from a food critic last summer. I live in Colorado Springs so I don’t often get down to Pueblo, until recently!
I can’t explain how impressed I was with Springside Cheese. You may be asking what credentials I have to be reviewing a cheese shop, let me fill you in. I grew up in the heart of Wisconsin and our cheese selection growing up was ONLY purchased at our local cheese factory. We almost never purchased cheese in a grocery store. When I moved to Colorado I really began to miss and have intense cravings for good cheese. Colorado folks don’t even know what that is!
The staff was very friendly and it seemed like it was run by a family. They really treat you well when you walk in the door. They offered up sample of cheeses and asked about our weekend while we browsed. I picked up some black pepper cheddar, cheese curds, aged cheddar and spreadable dip. All of the cheese was delicious!
If you’re looking for good cheese, and I mean good cheese, Springside is where you need to go. This is the closest slice of Wisconsin I’ve found on the Front Range. I will be returning over and over to get my cravings filled.
