Cat’s Pourhouse is a newer addition to the area. I think it’s been around for a couple years if that. It happens to be one of my moms favorite places to eat so she convinced me to go. We went a day before the Super Bowl and it was completely decked out in sport memorabilia representing the Broncos especially. I dig that even though I’m not a huge sports fan! Our waiter was pretty cool and friendly. Also very attentive. I have to say however he was a little too friendly with my sister. I get that my little sister is hot but c’mon let us enjoy our meal and get her number after. Don’t flirt so hard to get a tip! Anyway, the food though was great! The nachos were huge and flavorful, the French dip was delish, and the Slopper was probably the best I’ve ever had! I will come back sometime soon and yes even with my little sister haha.

Atmosphere is great, we got fried mushrooms as an appetizer and they were very good my popcorn shrimp and waffle fries were also good… however my girlfriends green chili had no flavor and it was pepper spicey not chili spicey. We had someone take an order and someone else dropped off the food and that was it… we never saw a server again and we waited 10 min before getting our check. Probably won’t be back till there’s better service and green chili.

This looks like a dive bar, but the food was great. Great burger, great service. It is a bar atmosphere, so don’t come for fine dining — but come hungry and ready for some tasty food. Onion rings are heavenly, good beer selection, and once again — way better than average bar food.

Went to have dinner on Friday night and brought a friend couple with two young kids with us. It took an hour and 45 mins to get two kids burgers, a salmon dinner, and a slopper. The salmon was so over cooked that it was not edible. The whole time we were there, we had to stop the waitstaff every time we needed a drink. We were never asked if we needed anything at all. When we informed the owners, who were on the premises, they acted as if it was ok to have that terrible of service and ignored the problem. When we decided to leave, one owner even accosted our friend at the door! Worst, most embarrassing night ever! Never going to give money to this establishment again!

I decided to try Cat’s on a Sunday afternoon. Several bars and restaurants have tried to make a go of it in this location. By simple observation, cat’s appears to have a number of loyal regulars. Cat herself served me and was quite pleasant. The table I picked was unfortunately dirty due to a misbehaving ketchup dispenser. Cat noticed and apologized and cleaned it up immediately. Both of the other wait staff on duty also appeared to notice and did not offer or attempt to clean up. I ordered the Shamrock Stout and a French Dip sandwich w/fries. The fries were somewhat soft for my tastes and unsalted. The $ 9.95 sandwich had approximately ¼ pound of roast beef, a slice of provolone cheese on a standard cheap sandwich roll. The a-jus was fairly salty and there was plenty of it. The place seemed clean enough and the décor, tables, and chairs seemed to be quality fixtures. The two big screens I could see featured the same programming. I did not check the bathrooms. All and all, Cat makes this experience a 3. The food was pricy considering the quality/quantity, the staff(other than Cat) appeared interested only in helping their own customers. The beer was 4.5 stars.
