Stopped in last saturday, the morning of April 2nd for something filling on a cold morning. Got a bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. I happen to be a sort of breakfast sandwich connoisseur, and the flourish of avocado on the sandwich was a fantastic addition. Paired with a fresh-made Arnold Palmer, my breakfast turned out fantastic and was only made better by the fantastic service. I made some quick conversation with the friendly employee, whom I did not catch the name of. The server gave me ample time to decide on my order, while also providing for me several different recommendations(how I discovered the delicious Arnold Palmer). The server as well as the chef made my morning; however, I do wish I did have a name. I will be back for sure sooner than later!

Great soup at a great price! Staff is super friendly but the place is quite small so only a total of 6~10 people can sit/eat there at the same time. My group tried a bunch of soups and they were all very good. I got an extra portion of bread because I really love to dip it in but we probably could have done without.

Got a hummus wrap and was seriously underwhelmed. The wrap itself was hard and the hummus was chunky(a far cry from the version available at Mamoun’s.

Small, no frills atmosphere. Everything I’ve ever had here is amazing and I come back often. The only thing to watch is that they don’t quite have the«panini» concept down. It’s not pressed like you’d expect. Instead, it’s more of a sandwich with toasted/grilled bread. Of course it was delicious, but it wasn’t what I expected. I’ll be back because even with that discrepancy it’s still great

Friendly service. Best lobster roll I’ve ever had outside of Maine. The fries were good too. Will return.

One word: cozy. It’s located on the street corner diagonal to Halo Pub, and is pretty small. There are only a couple of small tables and some bar seats along the window. The décor is very cheery… bright colors everywhere. Great for a cold winter day. One thing though is that the lady taking orders/making sandwiches was very nonchalant and at times rudely dismissive. I didn’t mind too much since we didn’t have to interact with or tip her. We ordered a sandwich and fries to split. The food came out after not too long and the portions were generous. My friend enjoyed the sandwich a lot. It was packed with ingredients and filling – not one of those poor excuses for a sandwich you find at most delis. I liked the fries a lot. Very crispy and thick. Our meal was filling and yummy, and higher quality than we expected from the indiscreet shop. Another customer kept recommending the lobster bisque so we’ll be back to try that. Pay this place a visit for a quick but filling meal. It’s a pretty decent and reasonably price place compared to most of the other Princeton eateries.

Soup was delicious. I had the 16oz lobster bisque($ 16). It was fresh with a few chunks of claw. This place has delicious soups, but a they are a bit pricey. They also serve sandwiches. There is only one table, and five high top stools squeezed inside. Eating outside on the patio chairs is recommended if weather permits. Parking nearby is nearly impossible. Good for a small snack if you’re walking around the Square, window shopping, or enjoying a stroll.

The food here is so good and the staff is simply delightful. Shout out to Hope for being extra pleasant. Much love to this store for the amazing Deluxe Grilled Cheese and the succulent ‘World’s Best’ Lobster Bisque.

As advertised, this really will be the best lobster bisque you’ll ever have; however, this also really will be the most expensive lobster bisque you’ll ever have. Great soup and sandwiches, and yes, I’m aware it’s in Priiiiinceton(read in a stereotypical snobbish voice), but I just can’t with a clear conscience find a way to justify some of their prices, especially that of the bisque.

As some have said this place is a little expensive(although not bad at all for the quality imo) but the food is great and very original. Amazing fries, soup, and best hot veggie parm on wheat I’ve ever had! Oh and the people that work there were extremely accommodating, gave me a whole new soup when I asked for a to go cup since it turned out to be too cold to eat outside.

I wanted to treat my two friends to a quick lunch and came by this place because we wanted soup. First, for buying three soups and HALF a sandwich, we paid $ 45… I don’t think that’s worth a «$» sign on their profile… More like«$$$.» Their«world famous» lobster bisque tastes like old butter and stale pretzels with two lobster pieces MAX. I DONOT recommend for anyone.

Tiny place in heart of Princeton. I had lobster bisque, a little more expensive but sooo worth it! Absolutely delicious with big hunks of lobster. Side salad with tasty balsamic vinegrette. My wife had tomato kale soup, quite hearty. For $ 1.50 came with mini loaf of whole grain bread. Definitely recommend this place for lunch.

You have to first get over the sticker shock. A small lobster roll like the size of a hot dog bun is $ 25 with fries. And then a large Manhattan clam chowder(16 ouces) is $ 14. The food is not bad. The lobster roll is more of lobster salad on a roll and it was okay. And the chowder was okay as well… a little under seasoned, but you could tell it’s fresh. The service was friendly. This was a memorable meal but only because of the price tag.

*Solid sandos with fresh ingredients *Check in on Unilocal for a free iced tea *Service is gruff if not prompt, very limited seating inside but a few tables on the sidewalk

Starving I stopped in here to grab a sandwich. The shop was cute and cozy but the food was simply average and overpriced for what it was. I got turkey and cheese on a Kaiser roll with cranberry spread. It was ok, I mean I didn’t get food poisoning or anything so yeah it was good in those terms. But for $ 9 I’m good.

Honestly, this is the best sandwich/soup place I’ve ever been to. I was looking for an option other than Panera, found this and immediately loved it. It’s not very expensive and they have lots of different options to choose from. I’m vegetarian, so I’m always cautious when going to a sandwich shop. This place, however, had many vegetarian options(soups, salads, and sandwiches) to choose from as well as gluten free soups. It’s pretty small, but they have outdoor seating when it’s not too uncomfortable outside. It’s tucked away behind the main roads, so it provides a neat little atmosphere. The workers were all very kind and willing to offer suggestions and explanations. Best quick lunch place in Princeton.

This is a great little place in Princeton(when I say little… I mean… it’s really take out only save a few window seats). To best Princeton Soup and Sandwich, it’s kinda like a Cosi or Panera, except not corporate. They come up with all their won recipes and sandwiches, and they do offer a nice variety of items. I ordered the turkey chili which was really good. Plenty of meat and beans, not too watery. My only complaint is that it is a little pricey for a normal size bowl of soup and a homemade size sandwich. It’s a nice place to change up your lunch routine, but I wouldn’t become a regular at least.

Great soups & sandwiches with several choices always on display. They’ll let you taste anything, and for those of us who must be gluten free, they have GF baguettes, and bagels too! Nice :) The prices are rather high for the quantity of food you get, but their location, right on the back of Palmer Sq probably costs a mint, so I get it. Servers are friendly and well trained. Very limited seating inside and out, so don’t come here with ten friends at lunchtime and expect to get a group table. Otherwise this is a very nice option if you want some homemade tasting soup for lunch or dinner, with take-out as your goal. Enjoy!
