I went to Bella Luna for the first time last week and had Jonathan cut my hair. Just like all of us I am very particular about my hair and want it perfect. I absolutely got that with Jonathan. He listened to what I wanted done and gave me a lot of great advice. He took the time to fully style my hair and it looked amazing. If I could have him do my hair everyday for me I would. He was very friendly and though he took his time making sure it was right I still didn’t have to spend the entire day there. With my job it’s hard to find a stylist that can fit me in and Jonathan ensured he would work with me to always get me in. I already scheduled my next appointment with him and will be recommending him to everyone I know.

A place has to be excellent in every way for me to write a review, so I rarely do. I am quick to try new things, but hair stylists are NOT one of those, and once I find someone I like, I am faithful. Bella Luna is close to home with good reviews and so I decided to give it a try. SO GLAD I did! Ginny made me feel immediately comfortable with her friendly manner. She listened to what I wanted, and when I asked for advice, was knowledgeable and professional. Conversation was easy and delightful. I am excited to have found her and this beautiful salon!

I was visiting the Prescott area for my stepdaughter’s wedding and needed some serious help to get ready for it. Is there any more awkward position than being the person who raised her, but having bio step-​in to fulfill the duties of mom? (Eye roll). Add to this that the new family wasn’t really clued in on who’s who, it was going to be an interesting day.
There were two challenges 1. Finding a place to get both hair and makeup done; and 2. looking glamorous without looking overdone. Well Ginny helped me achieve both… actually «exceed «both.
She really, really listened to my concerns and understood what I was trying to achieve, which was basically to quietly be there for my stepdaughter, to help where I could, not let any animosity interfere with her very special day and yet to preserve my space by showing up with pride (and looking GOOD girlfriend!).
My self-​worth is not wrapped up in my looks, but dang it sometimes you just want to look good!
Well Ginny nailed it! Not only did she achieve everything I hoped for, she also did it in a way that felt like we were best friends getting ready for the wedding together. She helped alleviate my jitters and went the extra mile. For example, not only did she allow me bring my clothes to dress there after hair and makeup, but even helped when the dress I tried on a week prior didn’t fit so great after a week of stress eating.
My hairstyle was one that was but loose and flow-​y, but would also prevent errant strands from blowing into my eyes. I can’t even explain the makeup other than I felt beautiful and yet it wasn’t obvious. Exactly what I wanted… I sent Ginny some photos to show how it looked and I think she may post them on her web page.
Ultimately there were those few awkward moments, but I felt great, my husband thought I looked great and overall it was a beautiful day!
I would have paid almost any amount to achieve what she helped me achieve that day, but the prices were very reasonable.
Go see Ginny, you’ll be glad you did!

I took my teenage daughter here last evening to have her hair styled and makeup applied. Bella Luna made her absolutely beautiful. The makeup was very clean and natural, her hair lovely and full. Love this place!

Eva at Bella Luna is absolutely amazing. She is an expert with all hair types so you needn’t worry at all. My family and I are from California, visiting Prescott for my brother’s wedding, and my mom and sister were in desperate need of a hair stylist. The wedding ceremony was on a Friday evening and Eva took us all on that Friday morning last minute. I wanted my hair straightened, but curled only at the ends, and I have long naturally curly hair, nothing short of an untamed horse, but Eva handled the challenge so beautifully and with ease. She took time to straighten my hair and not once did she burn me or have the heat setting so high that I smelled burning hair. And she actually curled each of my many, many layers. Wow, now that is dedication and exceptional service. And that was just for my hair. My mom’s shorter straight hair style needed a more fuller look, a look with a lot more body and Eva was such an artist and created full, beautiful, luscious curls for my mom. And my sister’s hair also came out amazing. We received so Many compliments on our hair that night. So I highly recommend Eva at Bella Luna. You will not be disappointed.

Bella Luna did all of my wedding party’s hair and makeup. They did such a fabulous job my mother and brothers girlfriend even went in to get their hair and make up done:) I can not get over how wonderful this salon is and how professional all of the stylists are. My wedding day was poring rain it was on September 27, 2014 and my hair and all of my bridesmaids hair and makeup still looked fabulous. The makeup looked great as well and stayed on all night long. We all danced and partied all night long and still everything was great looking. Check out our pics! Thank you Terri and Virgina :)

Customer service is the only reason for two stars. However, Teri did not listen to what I wanted with my hair. The cut was good but the color was not at all what I wanted or what she told me it’d look like. Furthermore, she also did my nails and if I could write a separate review and give them one star for that I absolutely would. I am an avid gel nailer and I’ve never had an experience like this. The tips were awful, crooked and blotchy. The gel was caked on so thick there were bumps and indentations everywhere. Each one began cracking underneath the top layer within 48 hours, something I’d never seen before. I sat for about 45 minutes attempting to take them off (yes, with acetone) and they are only about half way off. I have never been more disappointed with my nails, the one thing I go out of my way to maintain for myself.
Not going back, would absolutely not recommend. You’re better off going to a cheap nail or hair salon.

Ginny, the owner, is not only a talented hairstylist but she also listens. Add to that a unique and beautifully decorated salon — what more could you want?
