How do you say yum in italian? Well that’s what Stella’s is! We went here for dinner and shared some pizza and pasta. Everyone that worked here was so accommodating and kind– you feel like you’re at someone’s house, not a restaurant.

Had lunch there today. Great look/feel to the place. It’s not noticeably dirty, just little things– menus sticky, bathrooms not spotless(as they should be), small pieces if food on the floor. Now the food. The menu has the standard pizza place items. Two sizes of pizzas, prices seem a little high. The dough is nothing to even mention, bland flavorless. The sauce taste canned, with maybe some spice added. The cheese is pre-shredded nothing special. They have some good pre made combos, I only had the Stella, good combo but lacking that«it». My salad was from a bag, and the dressing from a bottle. My guess is the owner either is not there, or is trying to cut corners.

Take out(using a coupon) was a long and frustrating experience, food was prepared at different times(cold rubbery pizza), and the staff didn’t impress me. Seemed a bit over-priced. Might try it again for dine-in, though.

The tagline on Stella’s website says«Made Fresh From Scratch», but I got the distinct impression that very little of what we were served was actually made fresh and I don’t think any of it was from scratch. First of all, the salads were dreadful. The lettuce was limp and unappealing. My salad was topped with a bit of bland cheese which only made it worse. My friend said the dressing on her cesar tasted exactly like the bottled cesar dressing from costco, which isn’t exactly bad but also isn’t exactly«made fresh from scratch». I ordered the red and white spaghetti, which is half marinara and half mizithra and brown butter. There was a generous amount of mizithra and it was very flavorful, but the pasta was absolutely drowning in melted butter which did not seem to be browned at all. Browned butter has a nutty flavor and a little of it goes a long way, but this was just a puddle of grease. The marinara was worse. I’m almost certain that it came straight out of a can. It was cloyingly sweet that I just couldn’t eat it. The whole experience was really disappointing. I noticed that there is a small office in the corner of the dining room at Stella’s and I think there was a manager sitting inside it on a computer. He or she should really come out and actually look at the food coming out of the kitchen. The servers were friendly and attentive, but that really doesn’t make up for bad food.

I have always wanted to eat here and i finally did! It was hard to choose what to eat. The mozzarella cheese bread is the bomb! I had the pesto pasta. It was so good. Cooked perfectly. Service was great and fast. I definitely will return!

I was excited to have another delivery option but this certainly disappointed. I was put on hold for 12 minutes and when the food arrived(very promptly) one of the items was wrong. The pesto sandwich I had was very good but the whole meal(small pizza, sandwich and 2 small salads) was $ 30! I’ll call Dominos next time for sure.

Wife had the gluten free I had a regular crust medium. Wife wasn’t too stoked on the taste and having the cheese on top of the pep and pineapple made it especially messy. My pie was alright. Crust was tasty, but that might be because all the toppings fell off. Again cheese on top makes for a pizza that needs a knife and fork. For the price, we may stick to the drive out to Seabeck pizza in silverdale We may go back to try the gluten free pasta but then again…

Actually bad pizza, not average… it tasted legitimately bad. I can’t imagine how this place stays in business when there are so many decent frozen pizza options out there. I paid $ 19.55 for a large pizza and could not even finish it. The under-the-cheese pepperoni had a lunchmeat taste and the cheese was hard and tasted like cheap, high-oil cheese. Take it for what its worth, but I eat a lot of pizza, and this stands out as some of the worst. On the plus side, they do not skimp on the low-quality ingredients, so you will at least be full.

A table for 5 at 8pm on a Saturday night No Problem! This could be a good sign or a definite bad one. For us we we’re pleased. Service was great w/a comfortable atmosphere. I tried the veggie sub w/min.soup it was good. Hubby had chicken chop chop he was admiring. Friends had a beer, peanut butter cake/slop for desert that was not pretty but apparently super tasty! FANTASTIC parking, great service= I’ll be back!

We love Italian food. We love pizza and pasta, so Stella’s Pizza & Pasta seemed like a good choice for dinner tonight. We called in a takeout order, and were told it would be twenty minutes. When I arrived to pick up my order at 5:15 pm on a Saturday night, the place was dead! There were only 3 tables being occupied. The staff was friendly, and they give a ten percent military discount. I ordered the browned butter and mizythra cheese pasta, with Caesar salad. And, my husband ordered the chicken parmesan sub with tossed salad. We split an order of cheese bread. I was a little disappointed with my pasta. While there was plentiful amounts of mizythra cheese, there was little to no browned butter, resulting in dry spaghetti. My husband rated his sub as average. The salads were meh, neither of us ate more than half of the salads. The cheesy bread was just okay, also. It tasted like it was store bought, not fresh made. Either way, we are always up for trying new local restaurants, and are glad we gave Stella’s a shot. We may return to try one of their pizza’s, they have a lot to choose from. The prices were moderate, only $ 25 for all that we ordered.

My family and I like this place A LOT. My family actually came here once without me and liked it so much they brought me back, and it became an instant favorite. Excellent food, friendly and prompt service, nice atmosphere, and reasonable prices for the quantity of food you receive. My kids love the Stella sub — a hot sub with pepperoni and melted cheese I think. It was tough for me to decide because so many things on the menu sounded good. I had a Mediterranean Caesar Salad and it was excellent. I can’t wait to go back to Stella’s. It’s a new favorite for our family.

I feel bad giving a local business one star, but that’s exactly how you’ll feel leaving this place. It’s like someone tried to make this a nice place for dinner, but then got lazy. Or bored. My husband and I went here because we were given a $ 50 gift card and we left feeling we had wasted $ 50 and our evening. We arrived at dinner time, but only a few tables were in use. I ignored this red flag because, hey, I’ve got a gift card. We started with bread sticks that looked suspiciously store bought. They were over toasted and they were so bad I had to use all of the dipping sauce to cover the taste and texture. While waiting for the pizza, I kept thinking about how the bread sticks tasted exactly like those partially cooked ones you buy in the store and then reheat in the oven. The shape was machine made and they had that reheated flavor/texture to them. Oh, God. .. What if they were par-baked? What about the pizza? No, a pizza place would make their own dough. They’d have to, right? There has to be some sort of unwritten restaurant code that would require a pizza place to make their own dough. We didn’t have to wait long for our pizza and when it arrived it was round. Very round. Like EXACTLY round. Maybe it’s pan pizza. That would explain why it’s so perfectly round. Except the inside edge of the crust was round. Really round. And it didn’t taste good. You couldn’t see the toppings, but the waitress felt it necessary to ensure us that they were there under the cheese. Underneath a ¼ inch of cheese, to be exact. After getting home I did about a minute of research before I confirmed my suspicions. They use precooked(par-baked) pizza crusts and bread sticks. You can find them easily from commercial food suppliers. We got 2 bread sticks, 1 medium pizza, 1 pulverized chop salad, 1 beer, and 1 tiramisu + generous tip for $ 50. I could have gotten a frozen pizza and a six pack from the grocery store instead. And ya know what? It would’ve been cheaper, tastier, and I wouldn’t have felt lied to.

Wife and I decided to go on sort of a mini date in the midst of out errands. She recommended this place. We walked inside and were quickly greeted and seated. The place was very clean, but it was almost empty. Wife ordered some pasta. My original plan was to get a two slice lunch special, but that only applied to one type of pizza, which never made much sense to me in the places I’ve seen it at. Still, their 7″ pizza ensured I’d get something close to what I’d planned. Pizza was good, if a little overly cheesy, but the caesar was mostly bland. Still, a good place to go if you want friendly service and a clean restaurant.

Like Spiro’s, Stella’s menu is very similar. The food quality has always been the same the several times that I have been there. I usually order pizza and salad but this time my friend and I decided to go a different route. I ordered the Spinach tortellini in a hazelnut sauce. I came with a choice of soup or salad and a bread stick. Everything was prepared well and the taste was not your typical cream sauce with a hint of hazelnut took it to a new level. Good stuff!

If I were you, I’d save my money and head 15 minutes down the highway to Spiro’s in Silverdale. Same food(for the most part; they don’t have as many menu options as Stella’s), but cheaper and you get more of it(my tossed green salad at Stella’s was pitiful). And the service is better too.

often dining here for lunch, we have had pretty consistent food quality but the service is hit and miss. It needs atmosphere and staff(especially hostesses) that have personality. Without any greeting just picking up two menus and putting them on a table with not words. as we wait for the server(this happens a lot) Menu is a good variety and reasonably priced. I love the garlic Alfredo chicken cashew pizza on a pita with a salad combo! and my husband likes the subs and salad. The salads are always delish and although we haven’t tried the chop chop. Always fresh motz and fresh cold lettuce and great dressings! I have tried the pasta dishes and found them to be bland and unoriginal, not bad, just ordinary. I would love to see them work on this and have some really great fresh made signature dishes. Oh and the manager/owner seems to like to leave the office door open which is right in the main dining room this is not appealing, at all and really need to close the door. But with a little atmosphere and some original fresh pasta dishes, this could be my favorite local place. Oh and some really friendly staff!

We visit Poulsbo every few months just for an easy weekend get-away. We stay at the Poulsbo in which offers packages. This time we got a gift certificate to Stellas. When we’re in Poulsbo if we want Italian we ALWAYS go to Campanas which is family owned and been in town forever and is hands down fantastic. Well this time we went the free route. Stellas was decent but not great. The ambiance was really lacking. Seeing the office door open in the dining room with a woman toiling over bills etc was kinda mood destroying. The place was empty for a Saturday night too. The brown butter with myzethra cheese was very good, the Cesar salad was ok. The after dinner mints were quite tasty though. The server was polite but not overly friendly. Oh and when we sat down the seats were dirty, eww. I won’t go back, well ok I would if it were free.

Good meal, good value + open late = A-OK! Drove past Stella’s many times on the way to Central Market and decided to drop in for a late lunch /early dinner. The restaurant is quite comfortable and the menu selection good. I enjoyed the Meatball sandwich that was done up nicely and comes with either soup or salad. The salad comes with shredded cheese and sliced olives with both being nice touches. My second trip was last last night around 9:20 on a Sunday evening and I had the Red and White pasta. The Red sauce was good but the white(browned butter & cheese) was fantastic! Service both times was friendly and attentive. All in all, a very nice place to go.
