Did try the margherita pizza. Oh, yeah. Did I say, «oh, yeah»? We’ve been back several times now, and despite the several wonderful dishes I’ve described, our new favorite is the risotto. I get it with just the veggies, no pork, but hubby likes his meat. Either way, we’re very happy every time we have a meal there and often discover a new wine, to boot(or drink out of a boot, I’m not sure).

Had a wonderful meal here last night with my son. Every thing the kitchen put out was outstanding! The waiter was friendly and up beat. Will be sure to stop here again next time we are in the area.

My husband and I stopped in for lunch today a little past noon, and we’re seated quickly. We placed our order and we’re very surprised with how fast it came out! I ordered the linguine bolognese and my husband ordered a meat pizza(the name escapes me right now) Everything was divine! The service was friendly and the restaurant was beautiful. Overall a great experience and I can’t wait to visit again!

We waited an hour for cold food. When i mentioned it had been an hour the waitress mhhmk’ed me. When I asked to have it redone she just replated my old food(still cold). Every plate(but the pizza) was cold and tasteless. When I sent it back to have them take it off my bill the waitress rolled her eyes. There is a reason they only had 4 tables filled at the dinner rush.

One of my favorite restaurants in Poulsbo. The service can be a little spotty, I have had to wait a long time before. About a month ago we went and the table next to us, who were seated right after we were and also a party of 2, got their good and almost finished eating by the time our order was taken(different waitresses). I have probably eaten here 10 times though and the food is good. I love going in the summer and sitting out in the patio area. It is quite pleasant. Very good soups, salads, antipasto platters, and pastas.

The prawn linguini was very good and so was the bolognese. Service was good and they were able to seat our party of four at around 6:30 on a Saturday without a reservation. Very much recommend and we will be back.

Food is always spot on, they make the best frittata I’ve ever eaten and their pizza is my kids’ favorite. That’s the problem, taking my kids. Anytime I’ve dined here without them the service has been great. Anytime my kids(10 and 13) have been with me, we’re virtually ignored for the beginning of our visit and rushed out as soon as the food arrives. We’re in walking distance which makes it perfect for a last minute decision or a glass of wine and a nice walk home. Servers are knowledgeable on wine selection and pairings, lunch menu provides perfect portions in a variety to suit any palette. But I wouldn’t say this place is terribly kid friendly.

We have always had very good meals here. When looking for a nice place for dinner in Poulsbo, this is definitely our go to. Drinks are well made and the Italian food is quiet tasty. However, there is often a scarcity of servers or they seem to be somehow often otherwise occupied. We’ve often waited for what seems to be an extended length of time to get drinks after being seated, to get our order taken, or to get a server’s attention for something. One trick we learned was to order our drinks«double» at the start because the chances of getting the second before your dinner came was minimal. That is the only reason I’m lowering my rating some, otherwise I think you will quite enjoy dining here. The outdoor patio with fire pits and twinkling lights is especially nice in warm weather!

Nice date day or night place. Waitress was very accommodating. I made the mistake of ordering a Manhattan for the first time and didn’t like it. She turned it into something else without costing the business anymore money… hummmm, how did she do it? She added soda. Food was tasty. we had a bunch of appetizers. Will definitely be returning… Oh and beautiful view from upstairs bar.

Wow. As a foodie, Sogno di Vino really delivered last night. The Kale & Polenta Bisque with sausage was our starter and couldn’t have been better. The Pan-Seared Sea Scallops with Pistachio-Lemon Buerre Blanc was genius and cooked to absolute perfection. My wife ordered the Painted Hills Beef Short Ribs with macerated dried cherries and it was nothing short of incredible. The Cappuccino Panna Cotta was a visual masterpiece and was exquisite as well. Couldn’t recommend this place enough. A real gem of an eatery. So glad we have such a great restaurant in Kitsap County!

Excellent pizza and very good pasta – especially impressive for a small town. They always have a good beer on tap. Dogs can be tied up outside the patio area. I’ve been here several times and the quality is consistent.

Went here with my sister in law, who has a gluten allergy and loves their GF pasta. Out of the four of us, I was the only one who did not order the spaghetti bolognaise based off of previous meals here. I should have listened. The clam linguini was ok, the clams weren’t the freshest but it was still edible. Everything paled in comparison to the spaghetti: the freshness of the sauce and the herbal accents were absolutely perfect, maybe the best I’ve had. Do yourself a favor, GETTHESPAGHETTIBOLOGNAISE!

OK but I would expect more. The wine selection is good. I drink red, usually Malbec or Sangiovese and they have both. All of the food I have tried has been pretty tasty, not super memorable. I have to say I do have a thing against places that don’t cut the romaine leaves on a Caesar Salad. I know high maintenance, but I don’t think it’s very culinary artsy to have to prep my own salad. I have been there about three times. A happy hour wine night with my sister, and a couple of date nights. The service in general is ok. The ambiance can be good, romantic, intimate, but… the last time I was there was a date night with my husband and there were TONS of fruit flies. I mean tons. It wasn’t like that on the previous occasions. We couldn’t hold a conversation because I was constantly waiving them off my wine glass, out of my face, off my salad as I’m trying to cut the leaves with a butter knife. We couldn’t get through the first course. I get it, it happens. Fruit flies can be a force to be reckoned with, but seriously I cannot express how bad it was. We couldn’t get through the first glass of wine and salad. We tried to be polite and understanding when telling the waitress. We understood that there was nothing that they could immediately do to fix this situation, but we had to cancel our order. It was unappetizing just sitting there, it was not relaxing at all. The waitress was so rude to us. Even the manager or owner, I’m not sure, came over and said«Well, this is the Pacific NW you know.» Um. yeah I am aware of my location, thanks. I’ve lived here all my life, I am aware of bugs, that doesn’t mean I will subject myself to an infestation while I’m trying to have a nice meal. I wasn’t asking for anything comped, I wasn’t even judging them, and they were rolling their eyes at us? Totally confused. I planned on going there again until the staff was so rude about it. That was in 2014 and I haven’t been back.

This is one of my favorite restaurants. The wine selection is the best in the area and they’ve got fantastic specialty cocktails that are updated seasonally. With the cozy fireplace and comfy seating this is a wonderful place even if you’re just looking for a wine bar. The food is wonderful as well with a lot of different variety of pasta, pizza and other Italian dishes. It’s definitely worth the ferry ride and drive from Seattle. Pros: Awesome food, wine and cocktails in a very comfortable, quiet setting, all for a very reasonable price. Cons: It’s a bit of a trip from Seattle(but worth it). Bottom line: Definitely check this place out. While it’s well suited for families, the seating area by the fireplace is very romantic for dates or to go by yourself with a good book.

1) Slow, slooooow service, even with only three groups in the entire place 2) Underwhelming starters, sloppily presented salad with inconsistent dressing 3) Ravioli from a package, poorly composed, bad smell Saving grace: they took the ravioli off the bill. I can’t recommend this place when Burrata bistro is right up the street. Don’t waste your money here. Get to Burrata post haste. You will be much happier. Their pasta is homemade, for one thing, and not out of a package I could get at TJ’s for six bucks.

We absolutely love this place. It is our favorite restaurant in Poulsbo. The service is always great and the atmosphere is beautiful. You can call in advance for a table with a fire pit or sit outside under the cherry blossom tree. Their pizzas are fantastic. The Caleb is by far the best(in my opinion). I would highly recommend eating here!

We came in for an appetizer and soup and we ended up ordering a whole meal. We heard people talking about the great Italian Restaurant in Poulsbo and we figured this might be it. This place is a must visit. Great atmosphere by the fire place, food is tasty and service is wonderful. I did not try the pizza which seem to be one of the signature dishes but what we order was cooked to perfection. Focaccia bread was awesome and goes well with a juicy appetizer. Wine selection is quite interesting. Dessert was also delicious. We will come back to this cozy restaurant. Worth the trip from Seattle!
