This used to be our go to place but after last night no way. The fettuccine bolognaise was sub par and I sent it back. The pasta was clumped, too much pepper and no meat. For the cost it could have been much better and I hate when they bring everything but the pizza so the 7 yo has to sit and wait. They need to bring their game back up to when they first opened

Pros: –They treat me like family every time I walk in –The people in management are really great people –They hire high school kids as hostesses and bus boys and they are very competent –The food is out of this world good –The garlic knots are never-ending and amazing –The menu variety is very broad –On really busy nights, I’ve seen them put a pie of pizza at the front for those who are waiting to be seated –Delivery is very quick –Very good for catering Cons: –Impossible to get a table on the weekend, without a reservation –Table is barely ever ready upon arrival, with a reservation(5 – 10 min wait max) –Can be loud –Food takes a while to come out

Very disappointing experience. Made a 6:30 reservation for 5 and we were seated at 6:55. It was busy, but they are not managing their reservations. Another group with a reservation came in after us and they waited and waited also. When were were finally seated, the waitress took our order, which included a mussel appetizer. 40 minutes later they began serving our main courses and I asked where our appetizer was and the waitress said, «it’s very busy so I guess the kitchen is sending it all out together.» Not the right answer! We told her to not bother with the mussels. After we finished eating, we decided to have coffee and dessert. The waitress dropped our check on the table without even asking if we waited anything else. The food isn’t bad, but they don’t know how to manage their success. We’ve been there a number of times, but not again.

Teetering between 3 and 4 stars… Food is pretty good. Soups is very nice. They’ll even let you mix it… Surprisingly very tasty! The chicken piccatta is good. Could be more lemony. Not my fav but still good. The bread stix were also good but get a little greasy near the bottom… The sauces can be a bit on the either sweet or tangy side. So if you have a preference try them first. Also if you are not partial to the bread stix sauce you can ask for marinara sauce for dipping. The desserts are pretty good. Flourless chocolate cake! Apple tart! Mmmmmm… The service is hit or miss. My most recent experience was a miss… So disappointing. Barely was at the table. Didn’t even get a chance to order dessert… Really… Sigh. And I will have to say it wasn’t even busy! And there were waitstaff to spare… Sigh… I’ll try again. But we’ll see how that goes…

I had the worst experience with a delivery, I’m assuming all of the positive reviews of this place are coming from dine ins. You have to request for particular things over the phone I ordered the CHICKENPARMIGIANA Greg who always answers the phone he is the owner he needs to hire more staff he rushes you while you’re on the phone he doesn’t specify that you have to ask for a particular pasta to go along with your mail I specifically requested Coke the delivery man brought me a Pepsi. Greg the owner and hung up on me and said it was an accident and he refunded me for my drink when the delivery guy came he didn’t give me any receipt no napkins, folk, apparently you have to request for all of that which is unbelievable. About eating the food there was so much pasta I can barely taste my spaghetti was drenched and pasta the food taste best the day after I don’t think I would ever go to them again they are too expensive for a little Italian restaurant you’re better off going to Maggiano’s if you want real Italian food. The best part about this was only the Garlic bread.

My guest and I got good enough salads from a waiter who never smiled or showed any interest in us. The menu in this store front restaurant is extensive and I may try it again some time but lack of hospitality is not encouraging.@

We have eaten here three times. All delivery via Grubhub and the first two times we had their Pizza which is amazing. The last time we ordered the carbonara and the short rib risotto. The carbonara was pretty good, but the $ 22 short rib risotto was plain gross. I don’t know if it’s the way they packaged the meal but there was literally a pool of grease floating on top of the risotto(see picture). I ended up trashing the meal and won’t be ordering it again. Stick to the pizza for delivery and you’ll be good.

We had a reservation and arrived on-time only to find out that they gave our table away to others who were walk-ins. They proceeded to tell us it would be another 20 minutes to be seated(don’t take reservations if you have no intention of honoring them!). To make matters worse, we ran into friends there who also had a reservation at the same time and Gregorio’s did the same thing to them(and apparently others who they knew). We waited for approximately 5 minutes before we left. We had a movie to catch. It’s a good thing we left because we ended up going to Blaze Pizza in Montgomery Mall which was surprisingly good. Don’t let the words«Mall restaurant» scare you. I’m not a pizza lover, but I ordered a Make-your-own pizza and it was the best I’ve had. Our friends were loving Blaze too. Thank you Gregorio’s for introducing us to Blaze!

We have been dining at Gregorio’s since it opened at Cabin John Mall. The service is always stellar. The food is outstanding. We have even catered an event with Gregorio’s and the experience was second to none. Our party attendees cleaned out every tray of food, and we ordered at least 3X as much as we thought we needed. When we ask the kids where they want to go out to dinner Gregorio’s is the first restaurant they name. I recommend the Penne Vodka, the kids LOVE the pizza, and those garlic bread nuggets with marinara are to die for.

probably wouldn’t come back. I ordered baked ziti from Gregorios when they first opened and it was so good. this is my first time ordering since they opened. I got baked ziti again and the cheese on top was burnt… and I got the dinner portion but it only filled up half of the container. Terrible. Then we ordered ravioli, it was basically 80% tomato sauce and 20% ravioli. It again only filled up half of the container, looked more like the regular portion yet we were charged for the dinner portion. We also got this garlic bread knots type thing and it was drenched in oil. We could lift it up and oil would drip from the bottom… disgusting. All this cost us $ 60 and it definitley was not worth it. Basically, I would advise you to go to Naples at Montgomery Mall instead.

A busy restaurant with friendly service. I recommend you get reservations. Now the food, the garlic bread knots are delicious, the eggplant parmigiana tastes fresh and delicious. Regarding the Veal Marsala, the mushroom sauce was very good but the veal was too tough. My son loves the Pizza. The Spaghetti & meatballs are very good. They have several different tomato sauces to choose from. Just ask the waiter about the choices. I like the tomato jam. The tiramisu is very good.

What a find! Love this adorable, local restaurant/bar. Enjoyed great appetizers(fried ravioli) and excellent adult beverages! Lots of locals to chat with, friendly servers, too! Highly recommend!

We were excited to find a home style Italian restaurant in Rockville. Unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations. The bread and marinara sauce were delicious, but it was all down hill from there. The minestrone was okay but did not have any beans, zucchini, or spinach. Pretty much just carrots, potatoes, and onions. The broth was pretty good, however. The oil in the dressing for the Greek salad was rancid, but the replacement dressing(sherry vinaigrette) was good. The salad itself was fresh and flavorful. The chicken parmesan was rubbery and dry. The texture indicated that the chicken had been reheated in the microwave. The spinach was greasy and tasted like garlicky fish. Pretty disappointing for the price. I trust the pizza is better based on the reviews.

Decent Italian diner, friendly but not overwhelming service, typical Italian fare food, if a bit too greasy by my standards. I was amazed the the prices — most things are over $ 20, for a very casual place. A dinner for 5 people with just entries(no appetizers, no drinks except one soda, and no dessert) cost us over $ 125 with standard tips. And we did not have anything fancy — pizza, chicken, pasta with meatballs. Also, very noisy on a busy night. Unless you want to watch football by the bar…

Gregorio’s is our local go to place for soul Italian food! We generally eat in or just do take out and have always had a good experience here. They have generous serving sizes and food seems to be home cooked quality :) We generally get their pasta dishes and I like the sauce and the meatballs! The place has ample seating and the most we have waited for a table is like 5 minutes. Service is good too!

The pizza is yummy! I’m not a big fan of thin slices or a layer of grease on top, but it was so delicious that I forgot about my preferences. The restaurant is very nice and you can either sit at the bar or the booths and tables. The lunch special is 2 slices and a drink for $ 6 plus tax. Can’t beat that! I enjoyed my experience and my server was excellent.

Yesterday I had a wonderful lunch here. The ambiance is very nice and the service was excellent. I had the four cheese pizza which was pretty good. It was tasty with a crisp crust and they have their own ovens for the pizza. The breadsticks were also delicious and my friend had a salad that she said was very good. She had a couple of special requests with her meal and they were extremely accommodating.

I love the clams and linguine. I get it everytime I go there. I understand from friends and family the chicken piccata, chicken francaise, pasta carbonara, and scampi are delicious!

had dinner @ the potomac location. Here’s my review: PRO: 1. FOOD Quality: Home made Italian fare. Fresh ingredients, well prepared, large portions. Fair prices. Chicken parm and masala perfectly cooked. not overdone or dry. Lasagna is excellent. Great flavor and seasoning. sauce had a homemade flavor to it. many restaurant sauces taste like they came straight from the can to the microwave to your plate. Boring and tasteless. This was not the case here. 2. Service: Fast friendly. Didn’t try to push any dishes or force additional add-ons. 3. Atmosphere: Clean modern layout. CON: 1. booth table: these were the smallest tables i’ve ever sat at. I’m not a big guy but found it vey tight to sit and eat in the booth. Would prefer a table in the center next time with regular chairs. SUMMARY: Very good homestyle italian food with friendly service on a child’s size table. Will come again, but ask for a center table instead of the booths.

Got the 18 inch pizza to go. The crust was thin and chewy, not crispy. And the edges were very bread like. The cheese was ok but nothing special. The sauce was good and I could taste a hint of fresh basil. I would eat it again if in the neighborhood but nothing about it was exceptional to make it a destination point.
