YUMYUMYUM! Stopped in here on my way home from some errands to undo my personal training session from this morning(#treatyoself) and I have absolutely zero regrets. The jalapeño biscuit breakfast sandwich with sausage was out of this world, and the sweet gal in the cart said the biscuits were fresh out of the oven. So flavorful and tender! I got a cold brew coffee to round it out and can say with complete confidence that I’ll be back here many times over. So glad this place exists!

Freshly made, hyper delicious: basically the best breakfast you’ll find in the Village. I hereby swear and attest to their quality and reliable tastiness. I recommend the frittata, a cappuccino, and something baked(for argument’s sake some zucchini bread or a cookie) :*

Don’t let those fluffy biscuits fool you! You’ll be full all morning. We wanted a simple breakfast because we had lunch plans. We stopped by for some jalapeño cheddar biscuit bacon sandwiches. We topped our order with a wild blueberry scone. A got some organic coffee & I opted for hot chocolate(though they do have decaf espresso drinks). The food came out super quick! We were munching on our fluffy biscuits in no time. The bacon was crispy and the sharp cheddar was a nice addition. The blueberry scone was also delish. Dripping with blueberry goodness. All their other baked goods specials looks great too. Chocolate bundt cake with raspberry glaze, blueberry muffins, pumpkin or date & walnut scones. They even had little homemade granola bars. The owners were very friendly and I’m sure we’ll be needing some more of their biscuit sammies in our lives in the future.

One of the best spots in Multnomah. We frequent this cart nearly every weekend and have consistently wonderful service and incredible food. The biscuits here are definitely some of the best.

A small, blue food cart across from Multnomah Village, Sliva Café serves up a delicious breakfast sandwich! Egg, sausage, and cheese meld together in the softest jalapeño biscuit that melts in your mouth. This sandwich is perfect in flavor, comfort, and doesn’t leave you with grease coating your mouth. It tastes fresh and clean, and it will help start your day off right.

Was excited to try their Acai bowl, as it’s something I use to eat back home all the time. Unfortunately it was not good at all & overpriced. Decided to start making my own. Way better & cheaper.

Hands down the best biscuit breakfast sandwich in Portland! Yes, I said it. I know about ALL the others including the commercialized Starbucks, the nearby Grand Central Bakery, and the iconic Pine State, and I still stand by my proclamation.

BESTBISCUITSANDWICHKNOWNTOMAN! And if you aren’t in to delicious breakfast sandwiches, the acai bowl is incredibly good and will fuel your day too. They also have some of the best scones and coffee cakes I’ve ever had. Phil and Lisa are good folks and I’m glad I get to chat with them almost every morning. Watch out for Lisa though, she WILL sell you fresh made chocolate chip cookies. Sweet, Delicious chocolate chip cookies.

The people who run this little cart in an obscure location are extremely friendly. I stopped in one morning because I was in the area and needed some breakfast. I decided on an acai bowl; a blend of acai berries, yogurt, apple cider, bananas topped with granola, almonds, bananas, honey, coconut and almond butter. It was the perfect blend of healthy nourishment with a naughty flavor. Served in a bowl with a spoon, every bite of this is pure deliciousness! A plus is that they take debit cards as well!

Phil and Lisa and Silva are such a neighborhood treat! I highly recommend their biscuit sandwich and a latte. These biscuits are some of the best I’ve had in Portland, and that’s saying a lot! Be sure and chat them up too, they’re so kind and love what they do. Thanks for bringing such joy to the village.

Lisa and Phil are the best coffee maker in the SW Portland. Period. Ok, let me break it down, Americano, Cappucino, Expresso, Iced coffee… The same goes for tea, great quality(I should quali-tea). Plus Phil is Italian descent, with a long history of coffee from his Italian heritage. They do have breakfast goodies. I love their Pepper Jack frittatas and their biscuits sandwiches, bringing back memories from Georgia :) They also have a huge selection of homemade, handmade pastries(blueberry muffins, coffee cakes…) made in the food cart . Lisa emphasizes her Brazilian-American culture with the delicious Acai bowl ! Friendly and Professional, I just wish they were open a little bit later but cannot be to harsh on folks who are ready to go for food as early as 6. 00AM(yes, 6.00AM Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall) Mondays through Friday then Saturday 8AM to 2AM. Did I mention their prices? Effing affordable ! I love their location at the Multnomah Village French Quarter !

Love this breakfast spot! I got an Acai bowl and it was very refreshing. The berries came from the local market right next door. The owners were very sweet and the food came out relatively fast for just 2 people working. Also got a caramel iced latte and it was great! Would definitely go back.

Good coffee, open early and super nice people! If you come early enough, you can pull right up, avoid the morning chill and wait in your car. They also have a nice heat lamp you can stand under. I got the breakfast sandwich on flat bread. No fault on them but I was not a fan of the bread. It tastes like store-bought sandwich thin bun things. The egg, turkey breakfast sausage and cheese were great. I also really enjoyed the coffee at 7am; it was round, smooth and piping hot. Total was about $ 6, not bad! I’ll have to come back and try the biscuits as those are homemade and probably the star of this cart. It’s in the parking lot with a farmstand and fish market cartpod. Great one stop for all the foods!

An unassuming food truck in Multnomah, their menu is simple and clear and their service is friendly and kind. For a few bucks, I scored a delicious cup of coffee(the best I had in Portland, as a matter of fact – and that’s saying something!), and a jalapeño cheddar biscuit with egg & bacon. Absolute flaky perfection with a nice pop of flavor from the jalapenos. The bacon was thick, crisp, and meaty. If I wander this way again in the morning, I’ll be eating here, for sure! The jalapeño cheddar biscuit is well worth the extra $ 1.

I really have to give these breakfast sandwiches 5 stars. They are tastier and less expensive than the other places in the area. The Fresh made biscuits are bomb! Nice selection of caffeinated beverages as well.

I have gone back several times since. The veggie sausage biscuit is amazing. So are the scones and other baked goods. The hours are a little weird, I went there yesterday and they were Mon-Wed 6 – 1 and Thursday-Saturday 6 – 3, and not open Sunday-which is a bummer because most Portlanders love a Sunday brunch. I think that it might be because they are a food cart and the hours are probably based on the demographic of the area.

Excellent baked goods especially for a food pod. The acai bowl was what I came for and they did a pretty good job with it and they were sure to ask me how it could be improved so I was happy to make some recommendations that hopefully will help make it even better. Super friendly. They have coffee and tea as well to wash down the goodness.

Amazing food, great people, quick service, and the best way to start a day!!! The breakfast sandwich is fresh, delicious, and hot when it comes out.

I have gotten breakfast at this cart many times and have always found the food to be consistently good and the people very nice. What prompted me to post was that today I went to the lauded Pine State Biscuits and the biscuits at Silva are much better! Helped me realize what a little gem we have in our hood. Update: I wanted to post again to comment that I have stopped in at Silva Café time and time again, and it’s always awesome! Sausage biscuit? Awesome. Blueberry muffins? Great! Coffee cake? Fantastic. Scones? Best in the world! Which to me doesn’t mean much because plenty of the scones out there really aren’t so great. But, theirs are really good! So… best in the world! And just today, I had something new, which was a cream filled chocolate espresso cupcake that had icing in swirls on top, just like when I was a kid! Dang, that thing was perfect! Seriously, it was super yummy. And after eating it I just felt good. Highly recommended.
