A great neighborhood starbucks with decent amount of indoor and outdoor seating. A great place to meet your Hillsdale and Multnomah Village neighbors. Food and drinks seem consistent with other starbucks. Walking distance to many shops, restaurants and bars in the village. The server was very energetic as expected and prepared everything how I asked. I have noticed that the internet is a lot slower than other starbucks I’ve been to(no matter where I sit). I don’t come in every day, but I walked in one morning at 5:30 am(second customer) and the place was so dirty and unorganized. Crumbs and sticky stuff on the tables and benches. Chairs, merchandise and kids toys were a mess. I assume it was because of the closing crew from the night before, but I’ve been sitting here for two hours and no change. I decided to sit outside since the birds keep a crumb-free seating area!

I like this location. Plenty of outdoor seating and the sun gets to the outside tables around 9AM making it perfect for springtime coffee drinking! The servers are always talkative and very helpful. The chairs outside along the side street are a nice compliment as well providing perfect afternoon shade to pump out a few more emails before heading home. Definitely recommend this location for anyone wanting to chill and get some work done simultaneously.

Impressed! Great service from all the baristas! Great experience at this quaint coffee shop. If you want great coffee, you must have Harrison prepare it for you! My mother who is a 75 years old woman, hard to please, was happy that Harrison made an exquisite Caramel drink for her! We’ll come back only when Harrison is working!

This is our go-to coffee shop while at work. No matter which barista is working that day the coffee is always great, and at some locations consistency is hard to come by! The staff is always cheerful and friendly, and the items are well stocked. I like that it is not in your typical Starbucks building, but in a location with some character and a nice outdoor seating area.

I like the taste of Starbucks coffee. There, I said it. And the buzz it gives me is always delightful. Just please don’t ruin it by telling me the amount of caffeine that I’m ingesting above the recommended daily allowance. This Starbucks is handy, being right in the Village. The staff are a familiar site and very friendly. The store is also clean. The main downside is a general lack of seating. It’s just a small place. The flow/layout also is awkward. And parking is sometimes tough. But all in all, I like coming in here for a quick cup or to have a meeting.

I love the local neighborhood feel of this Starbucks. The baristas that have been there a while, know their customers by name and drink order. Jen, the manager there, does a standout job of making it feel like a «local» shop vs just a chain. They are also very fast with the phone orders, which is perfect for someone on a tight schedule

I kinda love this Starbucks. And when I say Kinda, I mean that I really do love it. What makes a good Starbucks? For me it’s Wi-Fi that works — even when I need to update the OS on my iPhone. For me its a cute barista with Nerd written all over him. For me it’s finding a plug for my laptop and a seat and table to work at. Rest assured that your 560 meg update will be done before you realize you’ve been stuck on the same two sentences for the past 5 minutes. I kinda have to credit this Starbucks with keeping me so loaded on espresso that I don’t mind reading about financial regulations. Don’t bug me, can’t you see I’m on my laptop? Win.

This is a very busy Starbucks in this cute little spot. Once again a very friendly staff and your typical coffee shop music playing in the background. There’s a porch outside with seating if it’s a moderate temp outside or on sunnier days, and I say that because it can get packed indoors leaving you standing or heading back to sit in your car. Lot’s of windows to the the light in. Were it not for the windows, it would be very dark inside. The locals seem to know each other as they walk through the door and I say that as well since I noticed how many folks know each other. This village isn’t far from where I grew up, so I could have been a regular at this shop had I still lived down there. I’ll be back if and when I make my way back to the Village.

Yesterday I met a group of friends at this location. It is a popular spot, so not so easy to find seating together. A nice lady traded tables with us and I put my black Faconnable jacket on the back of a chair to «save it» while I got coffee, etc. I had a great visit with my pals. It was very late when I realized that I had forgotten my jacket. Now, normally I could handle losing an article of clothing(especially when the loss of it is my own damn fault) but this jacket was new and really expensive. It was killing me! You know how things are these days, I had very little hope of getting it back. I called early today and talked to Curtis. «Yes, he said, here it is in our lost and found». It says quite a lot about the customers and employees of this location that someone wouldn’t have simply absconded with my super-nice spendy jacket. I was completely surprised to get it back. The coffee drinkers and servers of Multnomah Village are honest. Oh, and the service and coffee here happens to be great too.

I love this Starbucks! Everyone is very polite and sitting on this street is relaxing. I’m not gonna review the food and beverage because it’s Starbucks so you know the drill. They have a pretty awesome painting of Multnomah village too.

A very good location in a nice town, very friendly staff here too. We stop here on just about every Multnomah visit, the patio area is very relaxing.

Despite the parking being a little tricky sometimes at this location, this is my preferred Starbucks because they have a Clover. And I appreciate that the baristas don’t roll their eyes at me when I order a Clover coffee as they’ve done to me at other locations. This Starbucks is generally pretty clean and has adequate seating — but be warned, stayed away from the kids’ corner if you’re there to study or work. They also have lots of seating out on their patio. The staff is generally pretty friendly and their order accuracy is consistent enough. This location seems to be adept at keeping their RTD&E(ready to drink and eat) and pastry case items stocked. In addition to the street parking, there is also a little parking lot behind the store.

I feel that the service is fairly average, although I do get the feeling that it might be above average if you are a regular, but that is to be expected anywhere. I live right around the corner so this is my Starbucks of choice. The only drawback to this location is the size. It’s best to take your coffee to go, because seating is limited and not very comfortable due to the small size of the shop. I have attempted to have several business meetings here and ended up leaving due to the noise and the cramped quarters.

So a Starbucks is a Starbucks is a Starbucks, right? Wrong. Sometimes it’s bad, sometimes it’s normal, and sometimes it’s above and beyond your wildest dreams. Ok, maybe I don’t actually dream about Starbucks, but the Multnomah location was awesome. The baristas were super friendly and fun while teasing me a bit about ordering the Captain Crunch frappuccino(which they checked on to make sure I like it, since it isn’t a well-know mixture). After my friend and I got our drinks, we moseyed on outside to sit in the sunshine on the balcony. Yes, friends, this Starbucks has a balcony. Honestly, this is one of the homiest Starbucks locations I’ve found, and I love it.

«Why do I always smell like burnt coffee when I leave a Starbucks?!! The new blonde roasts are an improvement. But I only go here because it’s 2 blocks from my office. Peets, oh Peets, why can’t you be on every other corner like these guys?“J

This Starbucks is located conveniently off of both Barbur and Capitol Highway. It’s my coffee place in a pinch. Friendly and fun staff. Sometimes, they fall prey to burnt coffee(as plenty of Starbucks’ do in Portland), but overall it’s convenient, fast, and easy. Plenty of seating and open late make it a good late night student’s perfect study place.

The trip there was pleasant. I went because they were the closest place to me that had free wifi. Their coffee is ok, the service was friendly, and the building itself is comfy and cozy. Parking was somewhat annoying, their parking lot is behind the building and it’s a little funky. But otherwise I had an ok experience there.

I got more than I expected here this morning. Starbucks reminds me of McDonald’s. I make that comparison, because they don’t have anything I need; however they are good for those times when I want something I’ve had before, and expect for it to taste the same when I order it again. The oatmeal tasted the same as it did last time. Check! The water was filtered and cold. Check! ***I especially like it when they ask me what size water I would like and pour it for me instead of directing me to the fondled, sweaty water pitcher. Ewwwww. Sorry. I digress… Where was I? More than I expected… The service was great here, even bordered exceptional. Smiles and conversation was genuine. I was comfy on the leather couch and got in plenty of people watching along with my morning work via their complimentary wifi.

I ended up at this Starbucks today in an attempt to grab some wi-fi and get some work done outside of the house for once.(My first stop was Village Coffee, see that review for more details.) I was able to join the attwifi network, but apparently there is some signup process necessary to actually get to anything on the Internet once you’ve found the wireless AP, and event he barista didn’t seem to know how it worked. After living in Seattle and having set foot in many Starbuxen, I can say that this one was considerably more friendly and neighborhoody-feeling than most. It has a nice veranda-like outdoor seating area, which I guess is useful on the rare nice-weather day in Portland. I did notice that all Sbux will be offering free wi-fi come July 1, once you buy one of their re-usable coffee cards.
