well… again. I hate to see people rave about shitty taco’s…and if you think I am full of shit… please let me know! But really? This place failed on all three points of the holy taco trinity(tortilla, meat, salsa) need I say more?

Alright, so I come from a place where Mexican food is authentic, made by people who’ve grown up eating and making it all their lives. To be so far from the border makes me nervous to try the Mexican food… but I must admit I’m a little smitten with their tacos here. A good street taco can be a tall order to fill but these boys hit the nail on the head. And if you like it spicy, make sure to let them know and they’ll kick it up a good notch for you! Don’t be afraid! Give this taco truck a chance!

I have been on a search since moving to Portland for the best chorizo tacos in town. After trying the chorizo tacos here at Quetzalcoatl, I think I’m hooked. Their chorizo tacos have jalepenos, onion, and cilantro, with of course a lime slice on the side. Also, tacos only $ 1.50 each. And they have a taco meal with three tacos and beans and rice for only five bucks! Service was very friendly also.

Hey! A new taco truck on Hawthorne! The people are very nice. The food was just ok. I wonder what region of Mexico they are from as the spices tasted a bit different from what I have traditional had in other truck. The menu was sparse. Overall, it was decent food and flavor. Great location. Unfortunately for them there is a great deal of local competition. Definitely try them if you have any desire to go across the street to Taco Del Mar.
