Pretty mixed about this place but all in all, an OK experience and I’d go again. This location features your choice of table service or counter service. For one person, wanting a quick slice or two, I don’t really get the point of table service, but certainly if you are there with a group or planning to linger a while it’s a worthy option. The whole set-up felt awkward though. Straight ahead as you walk in is the cash register. If you just want a slice, the pizzas are displayed behind and to the left of the register, so you walk just past it to see what they are serving today. Which… seemed to unnerve the guy taking an order at the register when I did it, as he seemed very distracted by me looking at the pizzas while he was talking to someone else. But anyway, another person called to me from further back, I told him what I wanted and he rang me up, done deal. Perhaps some clearer signage or more thought into the layout? Or maybe I was missing something myself. The pizza was good as always, although I noticed it was slightly more per slice than other locations I’ve been to. This is a nice option in the area for something quick and filling but not fast food.

Wonderful location! Very clean, great caring staff, and the pizza is excellent! We love bringing our kids here. Highly recommend it!

This place started out fantastic when it came to service. I have had pizza here several times since the opening. It has gone slightly downhill on each visit. I went recently and felt like I was lucky to be graced with the employees service. She walked to the counter and looked at me and did not speak. I ordered and she turned away to get my order. After giving me the pizza, she turned away without saying a word. I don’t think she was mute but it sure seemed like it. I miss the great attitude they had at the beginning. Pizza is decent to good but there are more choices in the area that are comparable. Without the crappy attitude.

Went in there again to see if anything had changed also because it’s super close to my house. Still have shitty employees not knowing what they are doing and having two girls work on one task is ridiculous. Pizza didn’t look fresh. I won’t be going there again. This place sucks.

Stopped in for some pizza and bloody Mary’s with friends. Nice little place, aside from the Dallas Cowboys wall. The kids were entertained with the arcade games. Pizza was good. We ordered a Schpaggeti and Meatball Pizza & the No Kiss Tonight. Both were good, but was actually a little disappointed with the No Kiss Tonight, think it may have needed more garlic. Cesar salad was good, as were the drinks. We will definitely be back.

This is my local go to for a quick meal. It’s not some fancy artisan wood fired pizza place, but Schmizza always has good pizza and reliable service; even during the rush you never find yourself waiting too long for a slice of goodness. Their 2 slices and a drink meal or the pasta with a drink is a great deal for $ 7. Liking the pub & grub setup also, it’s nice to be able to get a drink with dinner. Always try the special/limited pizza, they rarely disappoint.

Food is ok. Service is unwelcoming. We were told by amanager that we couldn’t sit at one of the 10 open tables because they are«table service only.» Because we ordered at the register we were told to sit at the front of the restaurant which was over run by about 20 kids. The servers are very nice. Manager is rude.

My favorite neighborhood joint! The staff are truly awesome and really care about their work. They always have a cider on tap, and the food is always perfect.

Worst customer service EVER!!! My husband and I stopped in for a drink on a Saturday night. The owner took our order. They asked for our IDs twice, In which case I thought we had paid our tab, which mind you was probably only about $ 10. Finished our drink and leisurely walked out. We parked at their establishment but walked to Safeway. As we are checking out the owner comes up to us and screams«oh yea you’re caught! The police have been called!» Me and my husband looked at each other totally baffled on what the hell she was talking about! I looked at her with utter confusion and said«did we not pay our tab?» She says with a death glare«you know what you did! And the police are on their way! You guys ran out of there!» One we did NOT run! We had no clue we didn’t pay our tab! I reached into my wallet and tried to hand her a $ 20 with an apology and she wouldn’t take it. So I walked with her out of the store where her husband was standing there and I looked at him and said«this was an honest mistake. I have a $ 20 I don’t need change.» He took it and We parted ways. I’ve never been treated so poorly in my life. I work in the restaurant business and this treatment over $ 10 is just unheard of! She acted like we robbed the place. We were blown away!

Went in for the Seahawks game, great TV and drink prices. Very rude GB fan, crazy rude to server for no reason. Heard there was a new happy hour and Super Bowl party. May check that out. $ 2.50 slices 2 – 6 plus beer deals, not bad. Veru Clean!

This place was struggling before, but it seems now that they have picked up the slack. Employees were nice and welcoming, food was just as I expected, and TV’s everywhere. I’ll spend a day or two a week there. They just need some staff that are trained to make mixed beverages and stuff.

The place looks nice and the TVs in back are great! However, the staff are so bad it is hard to enjoy the place.

I am generally a fan of pizza schmizza but after today’s experience I will not be going back. We went there today to get a couple slices and dip sticks to go. After about 15 minutes, and watching others that ordered after us getting food the server came up and asked if we had been helped. I said yes and told him what we ordered. At this point many other customers were complaining about 30 minute wait times for dine in. He handed us our food, which had been sitting there for about 10 minutes already. And low and behold they forgot a slice so more waiting. When all you do is warm up pizza to go I expect my food to be warm, but no we left pizza schmizza with cold pizza. Most ridiculous experience ever. Oh and the guy taking orders definitely needs to find a new job because he obviously can’t do something as simple as taking orders and making sure take outs are going out in a timely manner. This place is in some serious need of some training and organization. I will be spending my money elsewhere.

This was our first time to a Pizza Schmizza. We walked in and placed an order to go. The cashier let us know that it would be about a 40 minute wait which was fine. We sat and then someone came up and asked us if we were waiting for a pick up. He was very nice and apologized for the long wait and let us know that we followed a very large group that just came in of volleyball players. My 13 year old son instantly perked up at this news. So far, the service has been great. Then we watched our order get packed up and put on the side and then just sit. We thought, maybe it’s not our order. After about 5 minutes of just watching it sit there, we finally asked, and sure enough, it was our order. Now, if the kitchen was bustling around and people were working like crazy, I’d understand. But, the volleyball team had already eaten and the cashier was just laughing and talking with the staff in the back. I wonder how long our order would have sat there if we didn’t ask about it. Not really a deal breaker, but annoying nonetheless. Pizza was ok. We’ll probably come back on a night when we don’t feel like cooking. It’s close to home, and convenient.

I’m sorry, I like the Schmizza chain. But this branch just overall is poor. Poor quality renditions of pizza, pathetic drink fountain options, very strange half restaurant service on one side, booths on the other. You’re better off driving towards Hillsboro or other parts in Beaverton that have tried and true branches. This one needs to be avoided.

I really want to like this place. It’s convenient and the pizza is usually decent. I wish the owners had looked around at the competition. McMenamin’s Taverns have flourished while producing very mediocre food simply because of the atmosphere they provide. This pizza Schmizza location would do well, in my opinion, by hiring a decorating consultant. They could either go full on sleek sports bar or take the McMenamin’s route with the down home Oregon vibe. Right now it feels kind of like a frozen yogurt shop… great for fro yo but not as cozy as it could be.

Just stopped in for lunch. Big place. Busier than the saltzman and cornell schmitza. This means the pizza is fresher. I kind of like the idea that the guy taking care of customers is the bar tender. A much cooler experience since its not an underpaid teen whos easily overwhelmed or agitated. Tvs everywhere. Music on the overhead. Super fast lunch spot for local workers. I work across the street and I got here and ate in 15 minutes with 15 to kill… or write Unilocal reviews.

Disappointed! Was excited to see this place come into the neighborhood and maybe I had too high of hopes, but the food was just not good. The wings were underwhelming(small and not very flavorful), the chicken sandwich was downright unedible(it looked like microwaved chicken slapped between a bun dumped in sauce) and the pizza by the slice was served lukewarm. On a positive note, the space is large and there is a big space great for groups in the back. They also have TVs all over, great for watching games. Maybe we will return for drinks…

If you remember the Round Table that was here, the layout is similar. The back part is more of a bar with big screen TV’s. Great for watching games. The front has a number of games for kids. Pizza is the same as all their locations. Decent. 16 beers on tap and generous hours for happy hour. Full bar. Gripes — I’ve watched enough bar rescue to know their keg cooler isn’t cold enough. Every beer poured foams a lot. They also chill their glasses(perhaps to make up for it) which you’re not supposed to do with most micros. Get the beer colder and lose the chilled glasses and this place will be a favorite stop near where I live. I’ll be back.

The new Schmizza Pub & Grub is located in a strip mall near the Cedar Mill Safeway store. The previous tenant was a Round Table Pizza restaurant. When Round Table went out we who live in the area knew that only another pizza parlor could take over this spot. What is one of the healthiest pizza franchises in Oregon? Well, that would be Pizza Schmizza! So it was certainly no surprise that Pizza Schmizza landed in this location. The attitude was more like, «what took you so long Schmizza?» Round Table had this restaurant set up like a traditional pizza parlor. Pizza Schmizza came in and put their own quirky spin on it. There is a really nice long bar and sports decorations adorn the walls. Multiple large screen TVs are located throughout the restaurant. Schmizza Pub & Grub would be a great place to enjoy a sporting event. Being a «pub» means that this Schmizza offers wait service, sandwiches, appetizers, and wings. There are sixteen different beers on tap at Schmizza Pub & Grub. This location has a Happy Hour and various drink specials are offered. Since this is a Schmizza they offer pizza by the slice. The service here is friendly and attentive. On our visit we sampled Greek Salads and a Genoa Pizza. This brought us a good old fashioned pepperoni, salami, mushrooms, and black olive pizza. If you are a native of Chicago or New York then you probably won’t be too fond of the pizza crust here. Pizza Schmizza offers a light and doughy crust. The pizza toppings were good but the pizza did not wow us. Felt the same way about the Greek Salad. Pleasant but not the best. Hats off to Pizza Schmizza for introducing pizza by the slice to a region that was very slow to catch on. Kudos also to this franchise for bringing a quality sports bar to a community that needed it the most.
