After coming here several times, I have come to really like this place. Its definitely not the best pizza i have ever had but it is definitely not the worst either, its somewhere right in between leaning more towards a five star. Obviously there are better places to get pizza(like Old Chicago) but when you need your fix for pizza and don’t have Old Chicago Pizza money, this place hits the spot. There is something for everyone here: Carnivore, vegetarian and even vegan(they will special order you a pizza with no meat or cheese if your life is that sad, seen it happen.). You can’t really beat 2.99 for a piece of pizza or underage girls in short shorts, if that’s your thing gentlemen…

What a great place to stop by for a quick bite. I am always comfortable taking my kids here & enjoy the laid back atmosphere & décor. Pizza is good & the salads are great. The staff is always friendly & the place is clean. I have also been to this Location for a fundraising event — which was great. Gotta love a local business that actively participates in their community. If you want a fun place to grab a slice, talk with friends, or dinner with the kids then this is your place.

We stopped by only because of the location — happened to be in this neighborhood we knew nothing about, and needed a quick lunch for seven people. I placed the order at the counter, and lunch was ready in about 15 minutes. They got everything on the order right(highly appreciated — I don’t take this as a given) and the food was excellent. I had one of the salads — all the veggies were fresh, the lettuce did not have any brown bits, the avocado was perfectly ripe without any brown spots. Service was friendly as fast. Highly recommended!

Strange confession to make. I’ve never actually gotten a pizza from here. LIke, a whole one I mean. Been there many a times to reheat a slice on my lunch break. We orderd a Genoa for pick up and it had gobs of hot melty fresh mozzerella and it’s way better than the pizzas they have sitting out for reheat. I also appreciate that the staff has been there for, like, ever. Haven’t been to this location for a while since the opened the Pub&Grub literally across the street from my work and it’s all the old faces I remember seeing. Kind of a sign that they are taken care of. Keep it up!

I am shocked to see poor reviews of this place! These are the nicest guys you’ll ever want to meet and they do exactly what they’re supposed to… there are always several pizzas to choose from by the slice or they’ll happily make you a whole pie to go. I’m not a huge pizza fan(gasp!) but come here for lunch frequently because their Greek salad(add chicken) is healthy, tasty, and affordable. Great guys, great shop.

We liked the pizza schmizza in Tanasbourne Village(on 185th ave). Assumed that it would be the same good taste even here, but that wasn’t the case. We ordered to-go for three pizzas: creole chicken, extreme veggie(both mediums), green chicken pie(slice). None of them were good. They were decent, but not the taste that I am used at Schmizza and definintely not worth the price(would have gotten better pizzas at Dominos/Papa Johns). But gave them 2 stars just because of their service: good. Kept themselves open as they had customers coming. Greeted everyone with a broad smile.

I love Pizza Schmizza, they have a unique and tasty variety of pizzas, pastas, and sandwiches. Being a food chain, you would think consistency would be a given… This is not the case for this location. The first time I went to this location I ordered a whole pizza to enjoy during a football game. Upon opening the box I could tell something was missing at first glance. It didn’t dawn on me until I tasted the pizza, it was EXTREMELYBLAND and devoid of any seasoning or flavor in the sauce or toppings. Even though it was fully cooked, it just looked and felt under cooked(I don’t know how they managed that). It was missing that golden brown crust and had NOFLAVOR. I figured maybe a combination of ordering a whole pizza(never did that before) and bad luck resulted in the bland, terrible excuse for a pizza I had that day. So I gave it another shot… I went for my usual two slices. Again, the pizza seemed undercooked(maybe they use a different cheese or something, because it just looks different from the other Schmizza locations) and was the most BLAND pizza I’ve ever had. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. I will not be going back to this Pizza Scmizza location again. If you’ve never been to a Schmizza before, DONOT go here for your first time, stay as far away as possible. The quality and atmosphere at the Tanasbourne location is INFINITELY better than this poor excuse of a pizza shop. Too bad the food is terrible, because the people who work here are actually pretty nice.

I’ve only come here for lunch. I only have 30 minutes allotted for lunch which is enough time for me to walk down to the place, order, get my food and walk back. Sometimes I’ll stop at that small nature walk area that cuts through to Corby Drive and eat my slice of pizza or I’ll just wait til I get back to work. In any case, the guys are nice. The pizza is delicious. I usually order the Don Ho(Hawaiian Pizza) although the last time I was there, which was last Friday, I tried their feature pizza which was a Chicken Burrito Pizza. The refried bean base was interesting. It was good. Would I order this for myself? No. It’s a good and speedy place for lunch.

We were there for an early weekday dinner.(well, you could call it an afternoon snack, but it became the kiddy’s dinner). Maybe because of the hours, but, the place stroke me as less-people-and-quieter than the Tanasbourne location we usually go to. There were 3 or so people working, so maybe they do get crowded later on. What I love about this location is that their décor is piggy-themed. :) There’re some hanging from the ceiling and some on the shelf, etc. They are cute.

Pizza Schmizza’s are normally a solid 3 stars for me just because I generally enjoy the pizza. Yes I know it’s not«oh my God» AMAZING, but it’s always there for me. An old faithful food option. This location has been around at least 6 years … and I’m not sure if it’s always been such a craphole or gone downhill because other locations stole some of there sparkle. When JG and I went in to grab a couple slices I immediately noticed all the tables were dirty. There are only 3 tables in this small shop. The only person working in the shop had to be asked by us to clean a table. Since, you know we wanted to EAT there and all. When we got our slices, JG got up to get forks and knives… there were only knives stocked. I am highly skeptical that this shop ever gets busy enough to warrant the stock of plastic ware to be out completely like that. Or for all of the tables to be that dirty. This was way past lunch rush time if you know what I mean. The store in general looked dingy and dilapidated. The 3 small booths all had holes covered in duct tape, plus dusty boxes stacked on top of everything. Won’t be back to grab a slice again.
