A great little neighborhood pub. All the staff are super friendly and kind. The only reason to not give them 5 stars is that the French fries are not always on point. And fries are my jam ;) but when they cover them in chili and cheese, it’s all good again.

After reading the reviews on this place, I had high expectations. The food looked good and prices are pretty damn good. Unfortunately, my experience was only so-so. I ordered the Home Run Nachos. They were more like… crappy nachos(sorry, no pun). The chips were piled super high. So high, in fact, that at least 6LAYERS of chips had no toppings. And the chips themselves were pretty heavy – not light and crisp. When I finished, at least 2⁄3 of the chips were left on my plate. The service was alright though the regulars had great service. All in all, I’m not impressed. If I come back, I’ll try a burger.

I recently moved to the Rose City Park neighborhood and I’m right down the street from the golf course. Other than a hole in the wall bar that I’ve only seen about four people in(including the bartender), there isn’t much available to me for a local bar, much less a sports bar. I was interested in watching the Lakers game(Kobe’s final game) and I really didn’t want to trek down to Blitz Ladd, Buffalo Wild Wings or too far out of the area. I did a Unilocal search and found Lil’ Cooperstown which I’ve passed many times as my new route to work takes me right by there. I gave a call and found out they’d have the game on, but no sound because of the Blazers that evening. Fine. It’s close and I’ll have a beer or two. I had a buddy meet me there. Surprisingly, the place is rather large inside. Several flat screens to keep everyone happy and sports memorabilia everywhere including a signed Jerry West photo right where we sat.(A hall of fame Los Angeles Lakers player for those that don’t know.) Upon entering, and because I was wearing some Lakers gear, the owner came right over and told me which TV the game would be on and asked if I’d like a drink. I got a beer, my buddy got a grilled cheese, which looked good, and some basketball was enjoyed. The menu looks pretty decent and the burgers are something I will have to try. It’s mainly a typical bar menu with wings, fries, salads, sandwiches and plenty of burger options. As I said the space itself is large and even though there were many there to watch the Blazers, it wasn’t that loud. I’m easily going to make this a semi-regular stop for when I want to stay local. Off to explore my new neighborhood. Enjoy.

Calling a health inspector tomorrow. This place is awful. We were rushed to order, the cheese on my nachos wasn’t even melted and the meat was rock hard. My dinner wasn’t even edible and instead of a refund they just took 2 $ off and then rushed us out. Wasn’t even 8:30pm yet. Been puking since about 15 mins after eating the food. Boyfriends burger was raw too. Def calling and reporting the shitty service & awful food

Over the years I’ve liked there food, but today the service was non-existent. I was acknowledged when I entered and then sat down at a table and wasn’t approached for over 15 minutes. The waitress helped the regulars and her friends that came in and sat at the bar were serviced immediately. She had plenty of time to talk to them but no time to take a new order. This place would warrant a 5 star rating had they had more than one mediocre mirror in the gentlemen’s restroom and an outdated version of Golden Tee. The sports memorabilia on the walls makes me feels as if I were an athlete –which I really appreciate — and the fact that they use soap that looks like Gatorade is a nice touch as well. A sportsman slap on the ass for Lil’ Cooperstown.

Great burgers at this local hang out. Good variety of beef, turkey, chicken and even veggie burgers. Pool tables and lots of sports on TV. A great place to grab some good food, beer, watch some sports, and all for a great price.

Can I just say they guys are awesome! A group of 5 – 7 of us went for Sunday afternoon football and they were fast with drinks, they changed the channel to the game we were interested in and they were super friendly. I have watched football games at some other neighborhood bars over the years. It seems like the other bars find the most unfriendly staff possible. Yesterday, there were two people working and not one time did our glasses ever get empty before we were asked if we wanted another drink. There is no need to go anywhere else to watch the games!

Skip it, it’s Portland there is a lot better places. Atmosphere: Cool, about 6 – 8TV’s none of them bigger than 32″. Took 3 times asking for them to turn the volume on for Thursday Night Football when they said they would be turning it on. Food: nothing special here at all except for the size which also isn’t anything that great. Price aren’t that competitive but you get a lot of fries. Service: I’m a hospitality major so I have higher than average expectations but still come on, this place needs some serious training or maybe another waiter because it’s just too much for them to handle I’m not sure. But I had to ask multiple times for the side dressing which I was charged for, and the burger came out wrong, and takes about 10 minutes to get a refill.

These guys have great hamburgers! A buddy at my gym told me to stop by and I’m very glad I did. First time I went here I ordered the peanut butter bacon cheeseburger. The peanut butter has a nice creamy consistency that meshes well with the cheese & hamburger. I’ve had peanut butter burgers elsewhere & this is probably my favorite. It doesn’t come with a huge patty which I find perfect because that can ruin the ratio to me. My brother got a burger with everything on it including bacon & a fried egg. Looked straight out of Scooby Doo & I’m looking forward to trying that one out soon.

Tried again. The bathrooms still stink and the service is horrible. Had a blond waitress who never smiled. This used to be the place that felt like home. Now it seems like it should be called little snotstown! They treat their customers terribly. Recommend, if you want good food and good service, do NOT go here!

Nice, clean bar. Friendly owner who walks around to all the tables and interacts with patrons. Plenty of TVs for various games. Great beer selection and decent food. I will return here to watch the Skins!

I ate and imbibed at this purveyor of fine food and adult beverage establishment a few year’s back with a family group gathering that was just celebrating life and being above ground! Today I returned with my brother to enjoy life again, his good company, a pint or 2 of IPA and a delicious sandwich. Included in this diverse menu are many appetizers, a lot of tasty sounding burgers, fresh salads plus a variety of sandwiches and dishes to choose from but, I have to recommend that you eat«The signature» Sinnotts burger at least once in your life! This monstrosity is a true bellybuster! Properly designed and very well constructed between a delicious bun is placed: 2 thick & juicy beef patties, 2 slices of gooey melted cheddar cheese, fried egg, bacon(of course!), pastrami, pepperoni, lettuce. tomatoes and finally slathered throughout with thousand island dressing, sided with a generous portion of fantastic golden fries, a large dill pickle spear and finally, paired politely with a pint of cold Lagunitas IPA! I have eaten other tavern burgers that were enormous, memorable and delicious however, this monster is a heart stopping artery clogger! Just taking a bite requires a plan of attack to keep everything intact between the buns! Leaving the knife inserted to keep all in place(rather than cutting it in half) was the initial plan and it worked! 10 napkins and maybe a wash towel to wipe down all the juicy drippings to the elbows afterwards! I married the fresh, hot fries with a dash of additional salt and a healthy dose of ketchup on my plate and I was in Cooperstown!(Happytown?) Great low prices on both the grub and brews that will make you grin as you let out at least one notch from your belt and possibly the top button of your jeans too! There is a great selection of local brews on tap along with a full service bar tended by beautiful ladies, making this a local neighborhood favorite as evident that the bar is lined with plenty of regulars. EZ Parking, both on the street and a private lot in the rear presented no problem coming and going. Check this place out, it is worth the stop! Tell the friendly owner Tony that Short Stack sent you!

Solid local sports bar. Food is good(the fries are excellent) and the service is fast and efficient. Not much more to say… they always put my out-of-town game on when I’m in and that makes me a happy moose.

At a sports bar, the last thing a fan wants to worry about is his tab, and this place makes sure of that. Cheap prices across the board on all tap and bottled beers. They hit all the bar foods to a T and offer plenty to work with. What makes Lil’ Coops perfect for watching a game is that they leave the bar tab at the table. Need a better view? Get up and move, but don’t forget your tab! Only issue is seating. It’s not small by any means, but if there’s a big game on you may want to get there early to get your seats.

This place is a lot bigger than it looks from the outside. Atmosphere is quite nice, beer was $ 4 a pint, food is great and not expensive. Me and boyfriend ate and drank for $ 22 on a Friday night. He got chicken parm sandwich and it was super duper delicious and somehow the bread held all the marinara so it wasn’t messy. I got Philly cheesesteak, it was ok. Beef on the dry side and not enough cheese but the taste was what you’d expect of a cheesesteak. There’s a bunch of tv’s showing all different sports, a pool table and even a pinball machine. Service was great, music was good, had a good time here and will be coming back.

I’m not a big sports fan but this is a great bar. The inside is what you’d expect from a great corner bar right down to the old school paneling. The service here is exceptional and attentive even in the midst of March madness or playoffs. Just a top place. Loved the happy hour cheeseburger and fries for $ 4.50 and the amazing Gooey burger for under $ 8 which comes with a sizeable patty, cheese, bacon, and a fried egg with fries. Also the bloody Mary with bacon made with jalapeño vodka was amazing. Good for the sportsing crowd with ample smaller TVs all around but with a non«corporate sports bar» vibe.

Cozy neighborhood sports bar with nice bartenders and locals watching whatever game is playing. Lots of tvs, a couple pool tables, and standard bar food. Good place to catch a game where it’s not too crowded for too boisterous if that’s the mood you’re in.

Favorite neighborhood bar, hands down. Every staff member is incredibly friendly. If you want to have a conversation they are there to listen and engage, but if you just want to watch sports and drink in peace they will respect that. Even the«regulars» are super friendly. The food is tasty and reasonably priced. Alcohol prices are also fair. Definitely my favorite place to watch any sports game.

Although this is my local/hometown bar, I swear that I am not biased when I say that this pub is the shiz! The service is fantastic — the owner and the cook are the friendliest around and have no qualms about taking a few minutes to stop and talk with you, and the bartenders are also super sweet and will never leave you thirsty. The menu is what you can expect for a bar menu — lots of burgers, sandwiches, and fried foods — but man, it’s freakin’ good and comes at a great price! If you’re a fan of Reubens I totally suggest giving theirs a try… probably one of the best I’ve had. Their happy hour drink specials change daily, but they also have a section on the menu with about six to ten items, i.e. a 1/3-lb. burger, that are all around $ 3 to $ 4 after 9 p.m. every day and all day on Mondays. There is a pool table in the back and pool is free everyday until 4 p.m. They also have a TouchTunes machine which is always pretty rad anywhere you go. It’s a sports pub so they are big on playing the Blazers games and during the games you can enter into a free raffle for a t-shirt :) Awesome bar, great atmosphere(legit sports memorabilia covers every wall… awesome to look at!), and kick-a$$ service… definitely check it out if your’e in the area or looking for a new bar to frequent and become a local at :) Oh!, and they make a MEAN Spanish Coffee here!

You need happy hour here! Go now! My coworkers and I wanted to go to Friday happy hour and have it not be insanely crowded. Impossible you say? Wrong! Lil Cooperstown was not crowded but was fantastic and fun. They have a few specialty cocktails on happy hour pricing, including the lemon drops, which I really enjoyed as they weren’t too sweet. A perfect contrast to the sugared rim. The happy hour menu is a bargain. They have fish and chips for $ 4.99! Where in Portland can you get fish and chips for that price? A few of my friends ordered it, wondering if they were going to get, say, one bite of fish. But no, it was a nice, generous serving, and was even accompanied by a small amount of coleslaw. I tried the boneless wings, which were good, but a bit spicy for my taste. Others had the nachos, which looked average, one person complained they didn’t have enough beans. Nonetheless, all the food was a great deal. Our server was friendly, fun and attentive. I spent way too much money, but whose fault is that? The man in the mirror! Definitely a «happy» experience!

It’s been a long time since I’ve been here. I remember the one time I came here was when I was participating in the Underdog Kickball Tournament. It was packed on a Saturday afternoon by other teams and bar patrons. I was only was here for maybe 45 mins before we all headed out. Today…well I came back to say goodbye to a good friend whose moving to Indiana. No team, just a pregnant wife and a bunch of Blazers fans watching the game. A very nice local neighborhood bar that is pretty big. The walls have autograph pictures of players like Barry Sanders, this guy, that guy and the other guy. Took a gander at the menu and saw nachos. One happened to catch my wife’s eye and she wanted to order it for the little party of people who were coming by. When the nachos came by it was a mountain of meat, cheese, onions, guac and sour cream. It was very good. We had to beg other people in the party to help eat it. Of course this was only the appetizer and we both ordered chicken sandwiches. I had the crispy chicken sandwich and the wife had something similar that had marinara sauce on it. It was pretty good for $ 7.95. I thought the service was great and I had a good view of the Blazers game. Liked the fact they had Blazers specials going on during games. Beer is discounted on different days, for instance Thursday was $ 1.25(something like that can’t remember) PBR beer. They also have giveaways and raffles that you don’t have to pay money to get into. I won a t-shirt…yeah!

Went here with a group to watch the Monday night football game with the Seahawks. They have 3 large screen tvs facing one way and two others facing the opposite way but they don’t turn on the ones facing opposite which means everyone in the party has to sit facing the same way to see the game and so a bunch of our party didn’t really get to socialize with each other as we were so spread out with many tables put together to accommodate us. Half way through the football game, Tony changed the main tv to the Blazers game and turned the volume down on our game. Apparently the Blazers outrank the Seahawks even though the MNF came on first. We started with the Chicken Wings. They really ought to be renamed Anorexic Baby Pidgeon Wings. These were seriously the smallest wings I’ve ever seen in my life. They were between one and two inches long and hardly had any meat on them, simply pathetic. I mentioned this to Tony the owner/manager and he said, «yeah, sometimes we get bigger ones, just depends.» Well, if you have ones that damned tiny, why not throw more into the basket to make up for this huge ripoff? $ 6.75 for the equivalent of 3 real chicken wings. They flavor was awesome and I’d be raving about them on here if it weren’t for how incredibly puny they were. They didn’t have any dark beers — porters or stouts, other than Guinness. Seemed like a really sad beer selection. The cheeseburger I had was really good, I was quite impressed with that. My friend had the pastrami sandwich and it was amazing as well. Unfortunately, I doubt we’ll be back as it’s awkward trying to socialize in that set up and I feel like we got so completely ripped off by the wings and the poor beer selection. It was such a disappointing experience especially after reading all the great reviews.
