Ok, so i crave some old fashioned fast food fried chicken. It’s on the way. Um, no. I wanted to like it, from my youth but it was not good. Chicken was mealy. Unless you are super stoned drunk and hungry or you have little kidz that will eat anything; pass.

The chicken was good but the drive thru was extremely long, it ended up taking 10 – 12 to wait for our food. We only ordered a family fill up and a side of a four piece.

This was my second time in a KFC. Yes, I’ve been living in the US for almost seven years, but I almost never go to chain restaurants. After all we live in Portland, land of the plenty good food. So I was pleasantly surprised with this location, Erica, the cashier was super friendly and patient! She listened to what my husband and I craved and suggested menu options. The girl deserves a raise!

Hit the drive up and was excited for my chicken potpie (previous fat girl squeals with retarded delight). Unfortunately, they didn’t have the Manfolk’s order available. Hold on to your seats… this is a crazy one. «We don’t have any all white extra crispy». Huh? It’s 8:30 on a Saturday night? I didn’t think that was too much to ask for. Not even an offer to wait for a few minutes while they drop some in the oil that’s so bad for us.
Oh well. Off to DelTaco. Not the same squeal but it will fill the void tonight.

Ohhh yeah, KFC. KFC is mostly all the same, although this one has the world’s smallest parking lot. Remember that people… world’s smallest parking lot!

I grew up with KFC when I was a tiny tod lived in Jakarta, Indonesia. They served those scrumptious fried chickens with a side of rice instead of potatoes. I heart KFC when I was a youngster.
Now, I’m a grown up who eats plenty of fried chickens in my life and so sad but true… I cheated on KFC tons of times (for fast food category) with Popeye’s. KFC is just not the same anymore.
The extra crispy fried chicken is not that crispy and those side dishes taste like they’ve been sitting around for a while. My expectations about fast food are not high anyway since I kinda know what type of food I will get from fast food chains.
Three stars just because it’s super close to where I live right now and people who work here are pretty friendly. It is what it is, fast food fried chicken joint.
