Holy mother of brunch! This place is amazing. Go before it blows up because this is probably the best brunch I’ve had in Portland so far. Small place, seats about 20. Customer service is amazing, they brought us biscuits because our wait was going to be a little long. Run by the most adorable couple. Haiku book and coloring pages to occupy you while you wait. The mimosa floats are SOGOOD and the food will leave you speechless. I got a open face Cronut sandwich with a sunny side egg and thick cut bacon, and a birthday waffle with cream cheese mousse. I love the fixed menu because it lets you get something savory and something sweet without feeling guilty for ordering two things ;) seriously this place is so great I can’t wait to go again!!! So many unique touches, you can really tell that the owners are living their food dreams through Hunnymilk

Oh my goodness. I’m surprised that not a lot of people know about this place. The food is just amazing. The price was a lot lower than other brunch places and the people that owns and operates the place are real nice.

What a great and unique brunch experience. A prix fixe menu with a choice of one sweet and savory entrée. The presentation was as amazing as the complexity of the tastes. I do not review many restaurants but this new business is quite excellent. The service was excellent and creative, the space was cozy. We will be coming again soon!

During the week, this spot serves pizza as Hogan’s Goat, but Saturday and Sunday, the tiny place transforms into this unassuming(and unpretentious!) glorious spot for brunch. Here’s the deal: $ 20 for a drink, a savory treat, and a sweet treat. So unheard of, but I live to tell the tale. Thankfully I found out about this gem through a meetup group. The nice part about coming with friends is that(hopefully) you all get something different, so you can share. This is what I ordered: a caramel hot chocolate with toasted milk marshmallows, the open face croissant-donut sammy with sunny egg, thick bacon, sharp cheddar + spicy maple, and the red velvet waffle dipped in honey butter with cream cheese mousse + huckleberry drizzle. The flavors were amazing — the hot chocolate was good, but it was just soo rich. By that time I was so overwhelmed with the flavors from everything else, that I couldn’t enjoy it as much as I’d like. And that open face croissant-donut sammy — when they say spicy maple, they mean spicy maple. I dont know how the chef does it! Of course, I definitely ordered a few extra things: I got the buttermilk biscuits which were so good. I love carbs and biscuits, and I used to think Pine State had okay biscuits, and Tasty N Adler had the best, but HunnyMilk wins. There is definitely butter in these ones hah but it was nice and crumby, in a good way. Also had the monkey bread which was amazing as well. Not as ginormous as I what I usually think of when I see monkey bread, but very delectable, with or without the nutella anglaise. And I had to get a cup of coffee anyway. Loved the concept of the bottomless coffee bar, especially with the caramelized white chocolate! A nice little added kick to a typical cup of black coffee. Thank you so much Brandon and Alex for the amazing food, hospitality, and the coloring sheets :) What an unexpected brunch surprise. Slight downside is that parking can be difficult, and it might be hard to find the spot. Maybe that’s a good thing though? hah.

Great little spot! The food is fantastic, not the basic eggs and boring toast. I appreciate the quaint and friendly atmosphere, the creativity in dishes, and the sweet and savory pairings because that’s how I always eat brunch. It’s seriously delicious. Looking forward to going back!

What a great place for Saturday brunch! The food is delicious — the caramelized onion and mushroom quiche was rich and custardy. The accompanying salad with pear and candied hazelnuts was a perfect complement. All finished off with a very lovely individual Dutch baby in its own little cast iron pan. Definitely worth a stop — especially on the first Saturday of the month where you get all the supplies(including stamps!!!) to write letters. Eat great food and get your thank you notes done all at the same time!
