«Bánh kht» would be the thing that makes me coming back here for. I have been wanting to try this place so many times but never had a chance to come. Until I came to my friend’s birthday where she bought 2 trays of banh khot, I was hooked. Amazingly fresh and soft flours with outstanding fish sauce. You won’t stop until the 10th for sure. I wish I wasn’t too full to have a chance trying their sandwiches. –1 a star for high prices but it’s reasonable to be in this location. Anyway, the food was great and the service was very nice. Definitely will be back for more and more food.

Have recently tried them at their new location on Alberta. They are now my favorite food cart on 15th! I love their salad rolls. They are generous with the protein, always super fresh. I love that they use pickled veg and romain lettuce(good crunch) and do not over-do the rice noodles. The rice paper is tender and does not get hard after a couple hours in the fridge which makes them great as a grab and go lunch at work bought ahead of time. Another visit, I tried the steamed bun with pork, papaya salad with spicy dried beef strips and my boyfriend tried the lemongrass pork/rice combo. Everything was so good! I hope they stay here for a while because I love their hours, they are super nice and i’m going to want to try everything on the menu at some point. Next up is their rad-looking Banh Mi.

Note that they have moved to Alberta! The owner said they’d have a grand opening in their new location soon. I ordered the green papaya salad, the pork patty rolls, the special(stir-fried pork with fried garlic served over rice with a small salad, and a Vietnamese coffee to wash it down. It was an incredible feast for two, and we even had a little left over! Everything was super fresh and flavorful. Looking forward to future visits :)

I give their Bahn Mi a solid«meh». The braised pork didn’t have much flavor and the overly fine slaw didn’t give it much variety of texture from bite to bite.

Ive found my new go to spot for bahn mi. I had the lemon grass pork spicy with an egg on top. It was delicious. Everything here is affordable and I’m very much looking forward to exploring more of the menu.

I like this cart very much. I’ve had the minced pork over rice dinner, and the papaya salad. Flavors are great & portions are ample for the price. The owner seems like a really nice fellow, an added plus. I’ll be coming back.

We got the garlic chicken bahn mi and thought it was good but not the best. The bread was the perfect crispiness. The chicken was good but could have used more flavor. The coleslaw was very cold and was distracting. It would have been better if it was the same temperature as the rest of the sandwich. If I come back again, I would try some of their other items instead.

The pork rolls are one of my favorite food items in Portland. The owner is real nice and service is quick.

These sandwiches are great. MMM my mouth is watering just thinking about them! They are a twist on traditional Banh Mi’s that are DOPE.(Make sure you ask them to make it dope!) I can’t even describe it. Great marinated meat, delicious pickled veggies, soft, fresh bread. We also got the pork in sweet steamed bun and the meat was really really good, but the steam bun was a little old. you could tell because it was hard and chewy. I probably won’t be getting those again, but I will definitely get a sandwich! (They also have vietnamese coffees) Oh, and great price! And they take card.

After a year’s quest for the greatest Bahn Mi, I have still not found the holy grail that previous reviewers mentioned, and so my search continues. I ordered the chicken bahn mi and got the extra fried egg option. On the upside, the baguette had satisfying texture and the chicken was well marinated and tender. As of now, the pictures others uploaded speak a thousand words: I found the fried egg to be crispy and tough(just like pic #3), the coleslaw is quite chopped like American picnic coleslaw and not as flavorful as I’m used to, and the cilantro was more for décor and wasn’t used to its fullest capacity. All in all, I’d love to see the greens and sauces get better treatment. After reading other reviews, I wonder if a more flavorful meat like pork and ordering it «dope» style would improve the sandwich?

My boyfriend has touted that, after trying 6 – 8 other Banh Mis in the area, Dolicious has finally made his favorite one! The Holy Grail of delicious Vietnamese sandwiches! He got the pork Banh Mi made ‘Dope Style’ which I translate as a little extra saucy and spicy. It’s a unique and tasty sandwich with quality ingredients — go here and enjoy the cheap deliciousness!

Absolutely agree with previous poster Alison, the salad rolls were the best I have ever had. They were enormous, 2 of them for $ 4. And fresh, you can tell they were made on the spot, or very recently. We also ordered lemongrass chicken I think. It took a while to make, but the cook seemed to be the only one working in the cart and he came out and hand delivered it to us in the covered dining area. He was so nice, and the food was sooooo good(and cheap!).

I was pleasantly surprised that this was not another vanilla Vietnamese cart. Some creative offerings, especially the yummy mini pancakes. The pork buns(think Peking Duck style) were scrumptious. Fair prices and about ten minutes to freshly prepare.

Tofu salad rolls of magic and awesome. Wow. These might be the best salad rolls I’ve had here in Portland. I have never stopped at Dolicious before, but today was the day. The tofu is fried and crispy, it adds such a fantastic flavor and texture… I wish I had more right now. There was a huge spear of cucumber, and the rice noodles were perfect. And lets not forget the portion. HUGE! For $ 4.00 you get two massive salad rolls. I was so full. Awesome flavor, gigantic portion, and the man running it was wonderfully nice. I will be back… probably too many times. ;)

Had the spring rolls and they were delicious and authentic! The pork one even had a little crunch in them for texture. Service was a bit on the slow side, but perhaps it means the rolls were made fresh? Note: cash only but there’s an ATM in this food pod

The hot chicken wings! The sauce on the wings was the perfect combination of saltiness from the fish sauce mixed with heat and sweetness. The fried onion on top of the rice and picked carrots elevated the dish to another level. Ohhh… so good. The wait was a bit long, there was only one guy working and everyone seemed to have came at once – took about 20 – 25 minutes for our order. Well worth it, can’t wait to try their other offerings.

Tried the pork Banh mi, savory pancakes, and ordered the lemongrass chicken with rice. Everything tasted great except instead of chicken, they gave lemon grass pork. That was a little disappointing since that wasn’t my protein of choice. Everything tasted really good and they give you plenty of sauce. The regular dishes had a Nice amount of heat and not spicy. The Banh mi was ordered spicy, and wow… It is spicy but good. I recommend checking your order if it’s to go… not after getting in the car and driving home.

For a quick, healthy snack, nothing beats a shrimp salad roll. These are very big, and for $ 4, hit the spot. I wasn’t crazy about the peanut sauce, and if you ask for a side of Siracha, she gives you ½ ounce… don’t be greedy, lady! I will be back, the banh mi looks really good!
