I have a new favorite drink at this cart: The Dirty Hor! Cold horchata with a shot of espresso. So good and refreshing. It’s worth the $ 5. Trust.

«Iced coffee» was a double shot of espresso in 16 oz of water. Tasteless and almost $ 4. What a waste of good beans.

Makes great coffee and for the summer, his very own hand crafted ice cream! May seem a bit grouchy and doesn’t smile a whole lot at first but is actually a really nice guy!

Surprisingly this is the best americano in town(I’ve had it twice so I know it’s not a fluke). Even better than SE stumptown which has been my go-to place for americanos on the weekend. He also serves steven smith loose leaf teas!

We almost missed this cute car, and it would have been a shame. It was tiny compared to all the surrounding food carts, but the shiny red and German Shepherd in the front helped us spot it! They had the basic spread of coffee and espresso choices, made with Coava beans, and also a few different choices for tea. The cappuccino($ 3.50) was a bit on the mild side, perhaps due to the milk to espresso ratio, but it was still solid. It’s really a 3.5 stars, but I need a second cup to round up to 4.

If you’re valiant enough to not be daunted by the mangly hound that gaurds these precious beans, you’ll be rewarded with a crisp nectar of adenosine-blocking perfection.

We chanced upon this delightful little food cart/stand/truck(?) at the Tidbit Food Farm & Garden, a collection of food carts/trucks at SE28th Pl and Division St. You can’t miss the bright red vintage milk delivery truck with a cute German Shepherd lounging by it. The owner told us he drove all the way to Michigan(or was it Maryland? I know, I know my hearing sucks) to purchase the vehicle and that it still runs(standing room only, haha). They offer coffee, a multitude of espresso drinks, hot cocoa, and some teas/chai. We ordered cappuccinos and they were very well done, the right ratio of foam and milk to espresso. Loved the fact that it didn’t need sweetening at all, the milk was steamed just so. The owner also drives a vintage Land Rover, which we saw parked across from the coffee truck. Woot for tasty espresso drinks and vintage car aficionados!
