I’m Da-Pressed that this cart closed. They had the best cold-pressed iced coffee The coffee I got from the cart that took it’s place was nothing special 1 Star for sadness

It was almost two years ago the first time I visited Da-Pressed & I finally returned the other day. It shouldn’t have taken this long. The menu has expanded but the quality & freshness of their beverages have remained the same. I ordered one of their $ 4 smoothies called the Hawthorne. Strawberries, banana, & kiwi all blended together makes for a delightful drink while eating from a nearby food cart. If you’re the least bit depressed then go see Da-Pressed Coffee Cart. For just awhile they can medicate your blues away with a tasty latte, a fruity smoothie, or cup of hot cocoa. *CASH only*

This coffee cart has a nice selection of espresso drinks as well as smoothies. They use quality ingredients and also have a small selection of things to eat. The workers are always friendly and helpful, creating an all around positive experience.

Da-Pressed might be trying too hard to be clever but their goal works just fine. Perhaps it was my visit, just a few days before Christmas near Peacock Lane that kept me from depression allowing me to enjoy a piping hot ginger chai. Still I applaud their strategy in locking down this location from the hundreds of cold but merry passers-by. If your goal as a business is to serve warm smiles, hot drinks, fair prices and quality, nothing more is needed on a cold, winter, holiday or PDX night. Da-Pressed, not hardly, they make you warm with caffeinated water, no matter what flavor brings you delight.

The service was friendly but I was a bit disappointed in the homemade ginger chai. I can’t comment on their main staple, coffee, other than to say that they seem to have a large variety of choices.
My boyfriend and I decided to top off our meals(from other carts in this pod) with a smoothie from this cart. I ordered the Cesar Chavez. I was very excited to see a smoothie with mango, pineapple, banana and coconut. As I stood there and watched the guy make it, I was horrified to see him put coconut syrup in my smoothie. I never saw him add any pineapple(maybe that was a syrup too that I didn’t notice him add) or banana. The mango looked as if it was from a can packed in heavy syrup. When he poured it in the cup, you could tell by the expression on his face that he hadn’t made quiet enough as it didn’t fill the cup(perhaps he did forget some ingredients) and yet, he put the top on the cup and handed it to me anyway. To my surprise, the smoothie was absolutely bland! No hint of pineapple or banana(big surprise). Perhaps they should just stick to coffee, because the smoothie, not to put too fine a point on it, sucked! NOTE: My boyfriend got a custom smoothie which was OK.

I enjoyed what I got(mocha and some northwesternish pastry), and that’s all that matters. I’ll keep this review short and da-pressing.

The coffee roasted by Evan Mooney at Da-Pressed makes a wonderful addition to the micro-roaster scene in Portland. All the coffees I have tried have been amazing, especially my favorite, Congo. Service is good, and they are close to many food carts, if the mood for something more than a delicious gluten free or vegan pastry strikes.

I blame the bar exam. Although I had bypassed this cart so many times, I never had a huge coffee fix until my latest bar studying experience. Sure, I also had the coffee cravings during the first semester of law school, but I quickly weaned myself off that when I started nodding off in class way too much. I still graduated, so it didn’t affect me in the long run! I love that this place has sugar-free syrups and fat-free or dairy-free options. For once, I avoided the caloric bomb by getting an 8 oz. latte with sugar-free vanilla syrup and fat-free milk($ 2.50). It even came in a paper cup with the cart name on it. Simple, yet awesome. In my book, the latte was very good. No artistic patterns are needed to make me happy here, just a good drink that’ll hit the spot. I quickly read some of the first Unilocal reviews, and it seems Evan has taken some feedback to heart. I received my drink without a lid, and the customer can put it on later. I loved this, especially so I could take my usual photos. And these espresso drinks are lovely to look at if the barista has the magic touch. Evan uses coffee from Ristretto Roasters, but Da-Pressed will also have their own line of roasted coffees for sale. This cart may also have gluten-free food options. Check out Da-Pressed for your caffeine and snack fixes!

What a perfect cup of RR to welcome me back to Pdx. My first cup of joe among too many within hours of touching tarmac. This coffee has such soul — forget the largesse of the big and bright one on the Van-Will corridor!

I didn’t realize right away that their specialty is coffee. What got my attention was the smoothies. The smoothies are a good value compared to the prices Ive seen around here. Not too sweet. Pretty tasty. Grab some food at the nearby food carts and then stop by here for dessert!

The coffee here is super great. I love the quality and temperature. I have made it a ritual of mine to have a nice hot cup in the morning. I used to have coco, but since weather has improved… not as much. nice folks.

Da-Pressed offers the WORST cup of coffee I’ve had in months. Extremely bitter, acidic, and tasted old. Da-Pressed is in shocking opposition to the murky delights of coffee at Stumptown or the smooth as silk pure perfection of Coava. Now, Sweetpea baking(that they serve) is pretty awesome. That’s why there’s one star.

i really really like this coffee cart. i love how their coffee tastes and i love how it doesn’t burn a whole in my stomach. i also love how it doesn’t tweak me out. the people who run the cart are really nice and i want to see their business succeed. i was debating whether to give 4 or 5 stars. at first i was thinking it should be 5 stars b/c i love it. but then i thought well, is there any way it could be better. and i said to myself, it would be better if they had cherry scones and maybe some vanilla cupcakes instead of just chocolate. but then i decided to give da pressed the full 5 stars b/c i don’t think their coffee could be any better. and i need to stop eating so many treats. but if i did need more treats i’d probably take my cup of coffee from da pressed right around the cart to the new crème brule cart. that sounds like a winning combination.

French pressed coffee to pull you out of your deepest winter da-pressions. This cart is such a great addition to an already fabulous cart pod. Their lattes are smooth and velvety, but the French press is where it’s at for me. Friendly, quick cart service. Enjoy with a Pie Hole from Lardo or a crème brûlée from Sweet Pea’s Brûlée.

Gluten-Free Options: Yes. Vegan Options: Yes — smoothies! And more! While eating my dinner at the carts the other day, a guy came up and asked me «Excuse me, but where did you get that smoothie? I saw you walking by with it, and I knew I had to have one.» I happily pointed him to Da-Pressed Coffee, and assured him it was as good as it looked. The service was cheerful, quick, and awesome, and their menu options are great — I kind of wish I’d taken more time to browse and see the full extent of their offerings. You can bet I’ll be back to taste their treats again.

This is loooong over due! Ive been a regular since the beginning now. I love their choice of local coffee venders(Ristretto and Millars). Now I have to rave on how they pull their shots, nice and oily, strong and always perfect! I really appreciate their effort in staying healthy, organic, local and fresh. On top of the already wonderful drinks, specials and treats their service is wonderful! bubbly, happy and laid back. Dont let their name confuse you at all. oh ps readers, this is a close nit vender community, wonderful seating with umbrellas and for the winter to soon come I heard they were going to have heated seating, how awesome will that be?

Mmm, I do like Da-Pressed Coffee. I especially like that they offer two kinds of mocha. I requested the almond mocha and it had a just right, not too strong, almond flavoring. Perfect amount of sweetness in this drink too. And served at just the right temperature too! I do have a suggestion. They put the lid on the mocha before they hand it to you. I think they should let the mocha imbiber put the lid on… because the mocha is a handsomely-made drink and very appealing to the eye, with its swirly-cue chocolate pattern on top. Enjoying the«latte art» is all part of the coffee experience.

I’m pretty excited about all the new carts popping up at Good Food here on Belmont at 43rd. I definitely wasn’t depressed to find brand-spanking-new Da-Pressed serving up tasty Ristretto Roasting coffee in the form of espresso, French Press and toddy-brew. With a smile. This punny-named cart offers your standard spate of coffees alongside some smoothies, Visos, tea, and a few other fun concoctions. The owners are super friendly and stoked to be a part of this fast-growing cart-munity. I’m simply stoked to be able to grab a tasty cuppa joe after a good meal at one of the many nearby food options. And it was definitely tasty! Mmmmmm… caffeine! Welcome to the hood, Da-Pressed!
