Um, yes please! The most irritating thing about The Honey Pot is that EVERYTHING on the menu is good! I had the Down Home for lunch and the Pendleton for dessert. I even licked the plate. Super affordable, too.

The pies we got for Thansgiving last year were the most delicious holiday pies I have every tasted! Mary is such a sweetheart and her pies are filled with love and care. Highly recommend everything that comes out of this wonderful little pie shop.

Honey Pot provided the pies for my wedding. It was so easy to work with them and everyone loved the flavors we picked out. We were very pleased with how everything turned out. We really appreciated that they accommodated our special requests.

Chocolate Bourbon Pecan Pie with whip, please. So good. Sometimes the crust can be a little dry with the sweet pies but the flavors are always so rich and delicious I usually forget. Maggie is awesome. Go fill your pie hole now.

Good food, but a little pricey for what you get. The chile relleno pie was pretty awesome — flaky crust, melty cheese, spicy pepper — but about 10% too small to make me feel like i’d gotten my money’s worth. I’ll probably stop here again sometime if i’m in the neighborhood, but it’s more of a treat than a regular lunch stop.

My boyfriend and I visited the food truck hub that The Honey Pot was at and after having Lefses, we got the«Betty Blue» blueberry pie and it was phenomenal. Now, I’m not usually a fan of pie, but the filling in this pie was the perfect combination of tart and sweet(and not too sweet). The crust was amazing. It was a little hard(why I’m taking off a star) but it was still delicious. I’d definitely come back.

This is such a cute place! My friend got some pie there & said it was delicious. I only got two bite pies & some pecan pie-crust cookies. Both were really good. I hate pie crust, but their cookies from it were unbelievably good! I wish I would have gotten more.

Although I was stuffed from brunch at Slappy Cakes one fateful Sunday afternoon, I still wandered over to this food cart cluster and these pies immediately caught my eye. As a big fan of blackberries, I had to get this one… * The Favorite — 4 stars pic: (oregon blackberries lightly sweetened w/hints of clove, lemon, and vanilla in a flaky double crust. $ 3.75 slice) The flavor was a little more tart than I hoped — not quite that wonderfully subtle sweetness that you get with perfectly ripe blackberries. However, the crust was wonderful. And YOUMUSTGETTHEWHIPPEDCREAM — it’s made in house & fantastic. The girls were super sweet and gave me more whipped cream after my friends and I devoured it all before finishing the pie!

Yesterday I picked up a Down Home pie, containing pulled pork and yam. The crust was thick, but decent. The pork was spot on — very delicious. The menu indicates that the pork was marinated in Dr. Pepper. This is a concept that works very well. If you are from Seattle, the cart’s name — Honey Pot — may make you think of Honey Bucket, a Seattle business. That’s regrettable, because Honey Pot and Honey Bucket deal in entirely different products.

I returned to The Honey Pot at the end of January. Basically, I love pie and demand that several be served at all my major life events — so that I can eat them all and become a fluffy panda. As usual, The Honey Pot had about three savory choices and four sweet options. I didn’t waste any time ordering a slice of the«Pendleton»($ 4.75): dark chocolate and pecans in a Pendleton whiskey custard and a chocolate shortbread crust. Added fresh whipped cream to mine, because that’s how the panda rolls. FYI, it’s $ 22 for the entire pie, and while my wallet would be crying tears of agony, my stomach would be crying tears of joy. In my opinion, the Pendleton is a must-try. Despite the ingredients, it’s fairly light overall. Wonderful flaky chocolate shortbread crust. The whiskey custard looked like a caramel color and texture, very inviting. I loved that the pie wasn’t overly sweet, excellent control there. The«Betty Blue»($ 3.75 slice, $ 18 whole) is a double-crusted blueberry pie with hints of lemon and cinnamon. Also, the«Good ol’ Granny»($ 3.75 slice, $ 18 whole) is a double-crusted apple pie using a vanilla bean, cinnamon, clove, and lemon. Doesn’t help that I usually write these blog posts late at night because now I’m hungry for some pie again. NOTE: The Honey Pot celebrates one year in business on 3÷14÷13!

My husband and I had a mixed meat(pork and beef) puff pastry, for me it was a little dry and need a cheese or some kind of sauce to bring out more flavors. It was good, but not 5 star worthy…

The service is friendly and the pie is good, I can’t ask for much more than that. I’ve tried the Pendleton and the Betty Blue and left with my pie craving satisfied both times. The Pendleton is a whisky, pecan, chocolate, shortbread, custard amalgamation and the other is your standard blue berry with«hints cinnamon and lemon». I recommend the Betty Blue as an after lunch treat and the Pendleton if you have an insatiable sweet tooth.

She was very busy this last weekend and only had a few things to choose from, so we got the last of her apple pie. It was delicious! That with the fresh whipped cream made a good treat on a cloudy day. I want to go back and get my hands on some of that Pendleton!

Holy moly! The Pendleton is orgasmic! My husband and I wandered into the cart world on SE Belmont looking for something sweet. The Honey Pot is tucked along the back row of carts, west corner-ish. I do believe it winked at us as we got closer. Please understand that I don’t just love pecan pie, I would marry it if pie marriage were legal. Everything about it makes me happy: the way it looks, smells, tastes(duh), makes me feel, and makes most others feel when I arrive carrying one. You could argue that means I have become a bit of a pecan pie snob. I believe a pecan pie maker has a responsibility to get the pecan-to-sugary-goodness-in-the-filling ratio just right. And of course, the wrong crust is like a big«fuck you, pie,» and simply ruins everything. So when I saw that The Honey Pot had not just pecan pie, but dark chocolate pecan pie with Pendleton whiskey custard, I about had a Meg-Ryan-as-Sally-in-the-«I’ll-have-what-she’s-having”-fake-O-in-the-restaurant scene happy attack. And then I had to control myself and pretend to be all cool and stuff, because I hadn’t even tasted it yet, and as a pecan pie snob I had standards to uphold. The incredibly friendly woman at the window cut my husband and me a healthy slice to share. Now my husband finds pecan pie kinda«meh,» but I knew he wanted a taste only because there was chocolate in the mix. More pie for me, I figured. Holy mother of blissful combinations that pie was fantastic. You taste everything: the crunchy pecans, the smooth chocolate, and that double-barreled magical deliciousness that is the whiskey custard. The flaky crust is the perfect cradle. Our car was about 25 steps from The Honey Pot’s window, and that slice of pie was gone long before we reached the curb. My husband matched me bite for bite, proclaiming it was the best pie he’s ever tasted. Thank you, Honey Pot, for giving an old favorite a brand new, blissful twist!

WHATDYAMEANHONEYPOTONLYGOT17REVIEWS!?! Madness! I came to comment expecting to find about a hundred or so before me, but it is really possible that Unilocalers have yet to discover the wonderment contained in this Pot ‘o Honey? No Sweeney Todd disgusto-meat-pies here. Honey Pot’s got little savory pies that are filled with hearty, delectable ingredients that will make you wanna hollow out the filling and live in there! Now I’m not completely sure, but rumor has it either a wizard or a unicorn is baking at this cart because the Mango Cardamom Tart is MAGICALLYDELICIOUS!

The Honey Pot has THEBEST pie crust I’ve ever eaten in my life! Confession: I used to be one of those eat-the-middle pie people. But, now, at The Honey Pot, I want the whole thing! From blueberry cinnamon pie to curried chicken to a regular pot pie, there are few things I’d rather eat on a cold day. You can also get fresh cookies made from the pie crust. And, yes, you can buy the pie dough! Get it for here or to go. Prices are very reasonable, and service is awesome!!!

I would stick to the Pendleton pie, we got a blackberry pie and it was overloaded with spice. The Pendleton pie is amazing, that blackberry pie was so seasoned it wasn’t edible, we had to throw it out. Even with a side of icecream it was just way too much spice. Still love that pendleton pie though!

I’ve tried several pie places in Portland. I’ve only tried the berry pie from this cart. I really don’t care for the crust or filling of the pie… The crust is flavorless I feel it is quite hard and the filling is like eating jam overtly sweetened… I am a very picky person when it comes to pies I like my pie crust to have a buttery taste and flaky. I shall return again to try one of the more savory options. Will update.

The smaller size Spinach rolled thing was mondo excellent and great deal(two for $ 5, I think.) I’m glad some carts are offering small bites for less. Sometimes you just want something to offset a small hunger pang, but not an entire meal. Fishbox next door does this with their excellent Gumbo for $ 4. I also tried an ultra delish shredded pork and yam pot pie. The crust was not too dry and flaky like at some places, it had that perfect softness to it. The chocolate pecan pie-small slice for $ 4.75-was very good, not great. For the latter go to Podnah’s. Great gal operates this cart.

Portland gains from Bend’s loss. Because Honey Pot owners sold the old truck here and moved the business to Portland. Last Friday(March 16) they opened the Honey Pot in Portland with a new silver trailer and in the following location: 4290SE Belmont Open Monday — Friday rom 11a to 3p for sweet and savory pies, tarts and other goodies.
