I always look forward to go to five guys, but yesterday I was left a bit disappointed.
Their oreo crème milkshakes were overbearingly sweet. Their fries were amazing, along with their cheeseburgers! Still, I think this place made my whole family feel a little sick and gross afterwards. My advice is to monitor how many french fries you eat if you want to have a better experience than I did!

A little more expensive than most fast food burger places. definitely worth it though. the quality of food is far and above McDonalds or any other big chain. Burgers are mad in front of you are juicy and you can have all of the toppings you want. Their regular friy is larger than most large fryies and tastes better than McDonalds or Burger King. Their regular burger is a double and only costs a little more than most companies’ singles. Worth every penny. Whoever says these guys are overpriced isn’t paying attention. I get that We all want to spend less but you also have to be reasonable. I would lie them to be less expensive. But I don’t mind paying a little more for better quality.

Well I finally returned after 5 months, it was worth the wait. Burgers were excellent and the fries are always on point and extremely generous. It was alot of fun and I enjoyed lunch with my two little ones. See you again come summer time, not because I didn’t like the food but because my dad bod can’t take all dem calories. :-)

Well, let me just say, poor poor customer satisfaction. I will never eat at this 5 guys again. Drove there from Yaphank, a good 20 minute drive. Met some friends on my recommendation. They had run out of burger buns!!! How does a burger joint run out of buns. Needless to say, we didn’t have burgers. We decided pizza was in order. Do you think the manager offered us a certificate to come back, NOOOO! I mentioned it to him, he just look at me with a blank stare. Never going there.

Burgers are good. Fries are amazing.
Sadly tonight the fry guy was not very generous… we got a large fry and in the past gotten more fries in a regular.
Good stuff. Will go back.

Slower than the other five guys locations and usually pretty packed… I order in advance or else there’s at least a 20 minute wait for the food on most occasions and varied times throughout the day.
The only complaint I really have about the food that’s petty is the raspberry ice tea never works properly and is always disgusting tea water.
This location is also not as clean as other locations but the staff is just as friendly.

If you are looking for a burger and you don’t want to get one from a typical fast food place, this could be an option for you. The single party burger is more than enough food for the average diner (I do believe the patty is fresh) and the fries can definitely be shared, especially with the extra scoop they toss in the bag. It’s not bad food at all, but I really don’t care for it because I find it to be greasy and I prefer my fries crispy and while they are good, they generally aren’t crispy. I know people love this place and I respect that, but due to the greasiness and that I’m overall not impressed by the flavor, I would rather drive the excessive distance to Shake Shack.

Really good burgers. Though pricy. Cheese burger and small fries cost me ten bucks. Portions are adequate for how much they charge. Next time would rather pay a few bucks more for a cheeseburger and a regular burger, would skip the fries (taste good) but they’re nothing special.

This is my first time visiting a Five Guys. I had heard about it from people who were from the East Coast and figured it was time to give it a try.
The burger was great, it’s fantastic that all the toppings are free. I got mine with everything, super awesome.
The fries were crispy and had lots of good flavor. The regular size was probably a little bit too many fries, next time I’ll get a small.
The milkshake was also really good, and all the toppings are free, I love that. I had a cherry and chocolate milkshake, delicious. The cherry flavor was really fantastic.
They also have free peanuts while you wait. All in all a satisfying experience.

With «chains» like 5 Guys the expectation is that the food will be consistent, as it is here and because it’s 5 Guys… consistently good.
As such, When I walk into these places my review is less about the food, more about the service and the cleanliness. Everytime I’ve been here, at least a couple staff is patrolling the dining area and cleaning up tables. Great greasy grub in a clean establishment = :).

I get that this is just a fast food burger place. I get that it’s a bit overpriced considered you order at the counter, seat yourself and pick your own food up from the counter when it’s ready. That being said — I love this place. I appreciate watching them prepare my food with ALL fresh ingredients. Serving fries that are cut fresh and meat that has never been frozen go a long way in setting Five Guys apart from other burger joints. The free peanuts and high-​tech, endless flavor combination, soda machine/​computer/​gizmo keep me coming back for more.

Came to the Selden location to fix my Five Guys Fry habit. I brought my sister along as it would be her first time. We LOVED it! We sat and ate there. We even got to indulge in the free peanuts! Of course I stayed veggie with only fries & peanuts, but my sister is feening for their «Big Juicy Burgers». It seems that they used fresh ground beef, not the frozen stuff. The Large «Fry to fly» was humungous! Definitely enough to for two people… Unless one of them is a fry freak like me! Lol The resturaunt is clean, the staff were over the top nice & efficient. Good job Five Guys of Selden!

I’ve eaten their food at least ten time since my first review but I have never eaten in the restaurant. This changes the experience for the better. The fries are so hot that eating them becomes a bit of a daredevil act. The same is true of the burger. Bit into it too quick and you’ll have a mouthful of burning hot meat that you don’t quite know what to do with it.
And although I though the idea of shelling peanuts to eat while I waited for the order was silly, it did add something to the experience. Sounds silly I know but it did make the occasion more «festive?» If you haven’t done the «dine in» bit I recommend it. Seems silly but it worked for me.

Hot Dogs, Burgers with all the toppings and Fries — really what else can you say? Oh and Free AYCE peanuts.
The Little Bacon Cheese Burger at $ 5.59, a Cheese Dog at $ 3.99 add a small Cajun Fries for $ 2.99 with a regular drink at $ 2.19 rounded out the lunch order.
What I learned was if you ask for «NO Topper» with the fries they do NOT dump additional fries in your bag, now why would you order it that way?, well if your Doctor or Wife told you not to eat this kind of food or you don’t like waste then that option if for you.
Food was as expected, the staff is very friendly and energetic. Place is kept clean and you see them moving to tables to wipe them down. The patrons range of people doing take-​out, to families, couples, to groups of guys and girls of all ages just grabbing and gabbing.
Bottom Line: Cant go wrong if you have the hankering for some decent burgers, dogs and fries.
