Here is a LONG story so beware! But it does tell EVERYTHING about Cricket and the company and how it works. Knowing this company is affiliated with AT&T, I felt safe taking my prepaid business there. Little did I know that they have the most horrendous customer service on the planet. I walked into the store to make a refund. I didn’t even have the phone I was returning for 24 hours. I did NOT receive a refund in the same form of payment(Cash). Instead the girl told me I would receive a check within 7 – 10 business days. The girl told me I could call the number on the receipt to check the status of my refund. She refused to hook up my old phone so I had to do it myself at another cricket store, which was out of my way. Needless to say I left there without phone service. Four days later I called the number on the receipt to check the status. They told me, «We don’t handle that, call the store you made the refund at.» I went to a different cricket store and dealt with someone there. After being told by employees and managers that, «You can go to this store and talk with my manager.» «It’s not my job to keep tabs on your refund.» «Supervisors and accountants never pick up their phones.» «I’ll get back you today. I’ll call you today.» I’ve heard every line in the book from these people. But the two that really pissed me off the most was when the manager told me, «It’s not my job to keep tabs on your refund,» and«Supervisors and accountants never pick up their phones.» Excuse me? Not your job to keep tabs on my refund? Your job is CUSTOMERSERVICE. And then to tell a customer that supervisors NEVER pick up their phone? What kind of company are you portraying? After an angry phone call to «corporate» Cricket I FINALLY got my refund back in CASH after FOURWEEKS of waiting. The company policy states that you can’t get a refund back in cash even if you paid in cash. Yet after being shipped around to different cricket stores and passed from one incompetent person to the next, no customer relations number to call, you have to do everything through the sales reps who half the time have to call their managers to find anything out for you, I finally got my refund back in cash. Why couldn’t they give me my refund back in cash that SAME day? FOURWEEKSAGO? I would have been a happy customer and wouldn’t be leaving the company to go to their competitors, Verizon. I’ll pay slightly more for QUALITY customer service, instead of getting the runaround from Cricket.

Here’s the deal… you have to do your research and know what you want and what Cricket has to offer… BEFORE…you enter the store. Staff I met was nice… young kids… but they didn’t totally know their product and gave us wrong info. But because I did my prior research I new the score and what I was entitled too. I love Cricket… AT&T owns their towers so reception is great. No taxes, no surcharges and ripoff fees… no contract too.

Horrible place. Ever is the gsm. He scammed me and my fiancé. The girls who work there are rude, and won’t help you. They screamed and yelled at us when we asked for help. Do no go to this location. Go to selden.
