Naval Air Station Point Mugu, CA
This Denny’s is pretty much about like any other Denny’s you see you around America. The staff is very friendly and the place seems very clean. Sometimes the food can be a little «off», as in missing an ingredient or just a little «off» tasting. Mainly on dinner or lunch products. Not the best breakfast place to eat at, but I would go if I didn’t feel like standing in line anywhere else.

*Todays experience*
Our server Janessa was horrible from the beginning. We ask for two requests she gave us a horrible reactions. My guest and I went to use the facility to wash up. We came back to our table to realize our drinks have been removed. Janessa our server, didn’t come to inform us of anything or to even apologize about the misunderstanding. We ask for a different serve bcuz we don’t appreciate bad hospitality is part of this SERVER TRAINING PROCESS. Our second server was AWESOME and the manager on the floor was great. Gave us a discount. For their poor employee behavior! Overall very happy about the rest of our experience. We will be back to test how Janessa is on her attitude!!!

— No straws brought for our drinks. Hope I don’t get sick for drinking from the cup.
— Maple syrup was in a vinegar bottle. Odd.
— Dirty seats… really didn’t like sitting on someone else’s crumbs. Floors also dirty.
— Asked for no bacon on my ultimate omelet because I didn’t want it to be salty. They added bacon.
— Waitress kept putting all food in front if me when she brought it vs. those it was for
— Waitress stood in front of my dad while he wrote tip on check. Awkward.
— Butter wasn’t placed on pancakes, was brought in a separate bowl. Odd.
The staff here needs to be retrained or replaced.

A bit dirty inside the restaurant. Lots of vagrants hanging around outside along with people that look sketchy. The dining area needs some deep cleaning. Overall the food was okay!

I’d rather be eating at a hospital cafeteria. The food is taking longer than it takes my grandma to climb 6 flights of stairs. I’m about to go cook my own damn food. Don’t come here if you have plans for the next month.

first off I’d like to say that I’m somewhat of a Denny’s enthusiast/​connoisseur. I’ve spent many late nights and hangover mornings at various Denny’s and this location is honestly terrible. last time I was here I had to get my own box from the kitchen area because our sweaty waiter never came back, my bill has been wrong twice here and the food portions are smaller. this place is a huge NOPE.

If i could give negative stars, i would. This place is nasty. It smells bad and the food is horrible. I ordered a Beef Steak Dinner, and i was disappointed, the «meat» was like spam, the mac & cheese side was stale and didnt taste like cheese at all, the garlic bread was soggy and didnt have garlic just butter, and the cheddar cheese mashed potatoes were ok. I told them to take back the mac & cheese and the cook went crazy like «what do you mean its not good» i was like im sorry but im not eating that. For my drink i ordered «Diet Coke» instead they gave me ¾ water ¼ diet coke. The waitress was nice but thats not enough. Im sorry but probably my last time visiting this Dennys. Going to ihop insted.

If you come to this Denny’s with low expectations you won’t be disappointed. The food was good but the service left Something to be desired. They never refilled my coffee, brought my toast or bothered to check if we were good. Also had to get up and find some butter for our pancakes because none was provided with order.

Wow! Not sure if because we came on a Friday night but everything was surprisingly awesome! Our waitress, Lindsay, was great! Very attentive and friendly, even smiled and laughed when my boyfriend spilled his iced tea all over the table! Not something that happens very often! The food was surprisingly tasty and fresh also! I had one of their new skillets, can’t remember the name, and my boyfriend had the meat lovers omelet. All and all we will definitely be back on a Friday night again!

I always enjoy having breakfast at this place. Servers are always nice and pleasing. the food is always served hot and the coffee is tasty and hot just like I like it, especially early in the morning. Just dont g after 11am because it will take you a long time to get seated. but if you are not in a hurry, it is worth the wait. enjoy!

Just had the most amazingly epic meal at this Denny’s. My mind is blown. The portions were massive and the food was cooked perfectly.
My husbands steak was seriously better than any steakhouse steak I’ve ever had.
Our server Jason was attentive and friendly. Nancy was also on top of making sure we had everything we needed and the food was cooked to our liking.
Overall– the best Denny’s experience we’ve ever had!

Haven’t been here for over 3 yrs. asked my steak to be medium rare and got it well done. Took forever to pay for my meal. The only reason I went there cause it was late and the only place that was still open beside fast food. I will not go there again.

Didn’t want to spend much today, so Denny’s was the perfect place for a decent, affordable brunch. I ordered the Everyday Slam, which was only $ 4. The food was satisfactory, not bad but not amazing. The service there was good; we got a table quickly and ordered in good time. I’d definitely recommend Denny’s if you’re looking for an affordable meal to fill up your hungry stomach!

Our waiter, Jose, was very nice and helpful. The food was average, I’m a big bacon snob and the bacon here definitely did not meet my requirements for a «good» bacon.
Also, the promotional breakfast featured strawberries BUT when we tried to order it, we were informed that they were out of fresh strawberries and only had the strawberry syrup type stuff at the moment. The disappointing thing is that there are huge strawberry fields LITERALLY 5 miles from this location. I know they can’t just go pick random strawberries and throw them on the pancakes, but still…
Overall it was a Denny’s that I would go to again.
