The food was okay, the service was terrible! Our waiter had some sort of attitude when we went in for lunch today. What seem like the bus boy was more attentive. Matzo ball soup was soo bland! And I’m not one to add salt to food but this seemed like there was no flavor at all. We also had a hamburger which was a good size for kids. And a monte Cristo which was pretty good too. If it wasn’t for the bus boy I would of giving it 1 star. Get better waiters who at least smile…

Awesome service and food is amazing. It doesn’t matter what you get, it’s always tasty.

Love this place! Great food and service. I’ve eaten pasteami and corned beef sandwiches in many delis in NYC and this place rivals them. The quantity of food you get for the price is very good. They’re quality is always good and consistent. Always fresh. This is my new go-to place.

The lesson here is that if a restaurant has a huge menu that means they don’t do anything well and what they do serve is pre-prepared by a food wholesaler. I’ve been here 4 or 5 times in the last 3 years, I keep hoping I’ll have a good experience but I never do so I’d better give up. I went here the week before Thanksgiving and had the hot turkey sandwich. The«service» was nonexistent. The waitress took my order and then ignored me. Just as well because she was in a crappy mood. That must come from working for the old guy who runs the register and acts like you are bothering him to pay your check. The entrée was just not good. I think the best part may have been the slice of white bread underneath. The potatoes were those bland ones that comes in a bag from Sysco. I’d say the gravy was the same. Turkey was dry so it needed the gravy. Probably cooked in a microwave. I didn’t finish it which doesn’t happen all that often. Just go somewhere else.

This place is in serious need of a make-over. The posters from Broadway shows are cute and nostalgic, but faded. There is mold on the ceiling. The condiments on the table are grungier that I am comfortable with. The food is not bad but not as in good other delis. The matzo balls are perfect, the soup, not so much: the favor is lackluster, on the plus side… The seating is comfortable, the service is good. I have always got what I ordered in good time. The are quick with refills on coffee and water. The prices are in line with the neighborhood. There is plenty of good parking. I like being able to see my car.

It’s been years since I’ve been here and the food isn’t as good as I remember. Don’t get me wrong the food was descent but to me it is not as good as it once was. The service was also very poor. We had to constantly wave the waiter down for refills, napkins, and whatever else we needed. If you want deli in this area you’re better off going to Danny’s in Ventura.
