Very authentic barbecue set in a sheik atmosphere. Great for casual dates and to bring the family. Their mason jar drinks are a treat for all ages.

As usual, the food was amazing! We took out food for 14, including ribs, chicken, sides, biscuits and a burger. The food was ready on time and the very friendly staff double checked my order to make sure I had everything I ordered before I left. We will continue to be regulars. Regardless of what you order, I highly suggest trying a biscuit with maple butter! They are worth every extra calorie.

The BESTBBQ place ever! There food is phenomenal ! The taste of smoked BBQ on their chicken wings is so delicious! I am not one to eat other people’s potato salad but theirs is exceptionally good and homemade. Their Mac and cheese is so creamy and you get so much food that you will not leave hungry from there! This is definitely one of my fave places to go for BBQ …

This is my go to bbq place. Owned by Jeffrey and Jennifer Kohn who also own the Kneaded Bread down the street. Jeffrey is a CIA graduate whose recipes are homemade from quality ingredients the old-fashioned and right way! You can definitely taste the difference! This is the place you want to go to when you want to rub great bbq all over your face and fingers! Fortunately there is a foot pedal sink in the middle of the dining room where you can wash your sticky fingers and lips! Bring some friends on a 3,000+ calorie per meal diet, get the wings along with a 3-meat combo with smoked sausage(a real sleeper!), pulled pork, and fatty beef brisket. Chicken can be a little dry, but hey, it’s healthier(healthy bbq is an oxymoron, btw!). The top sides imo are fried sweet potatoes, baked beans, potato salad, and mac & cheese. Also get the free refillable homemade ice tea that comes in a genuine mason jar that you can take home and make pickles in! If you have room for dessert, get a slice of Kneaded Bread cake, it will knock out your sweet tooth and assure a satisfying post meal food coma! There is a bar at the front of the store that’s great to eat at if you’re alone. Decent selection of beers, whiskies and cocktails too! Parking can be difficult on the street in front of the store, but there is a parking lot around the back. You can also call for curbside takeout delivery service.

Went with friends Friday nite for my first time! I guess I wasn’t certain what to expect. You order pay and sit and wait for them to deliver your food. I had a pull pork sandwich and sweet potato fries. Both were good. I was almost finished with my sandwich and felt it was missing something and then realized the bbq sauce was bottled in the table. Would have liked something else with that sandwich but all comes a la carte! Not sure it’s a to die for place. Prices are $$.

It was OK… I really was hoping for better meats. I came with my colleagues with high expectations. We walked away with the feeling of between 2 and 3 stars. The ambience of the place was very hip and simple. I think if you are a big BBQ fan, this is the place for you.

Best BBQ I’ve found in Westchester. I drive out of my way to go here. The food is outstanding but I appreciate the setup of the place just as well. You order at a counter and they bring the food to you as opposed to a traditional sit down style with service. They have ribs and chicken cooking non-stop so the food comes out extremely fast, usually about 5 – 7 mins. You pay beforehand so you can leave when your done. This saves about 30 minutes from eating out and I love it. Time = money Ribs, chicken, sausage, brisket, burger and chicken tenders are all delicious. If there is one area I feel this place could improve on is their sides are not too impressive and you have to pay extra for corn on the cob. That is bullshit it should be a standard side. Collard greens were poor and even the mac and cheese is just ok. But overall its a great experience and I’ll be coming back a lot.

I used to frequent here the first couple years after it opened, but not so much anymore. However, when I do get a chance to go nowadays, I will buy only one thing, as I believe it’s better than anything else on their menu and they make it perfectly: the BBQ chicken wings(full wings, not baby wiener-sized drumsticks), well done/crispy, with a side of their outrageous homemade blue cheese dressing. Q’s ribs and burgers are okay, and its brisket and pulled pork are good, but its BBQ chicken wings(remember: order them«well done») are some of the best I’ve ever had, Westchester or elsewhere.

Succulent St. Louis styled ribs, served with a nice not-too-sweet sauce. I had an order of the hickory pit baked beans and the hand-cut fries, which were decent. The beans had nice chunks of rib meat and tasted smoky The sweet tea I had was freshly made and served in Mason jars. After spending the day in New York City, it was nice to escape to a smaller town, be seated promptly and with great courtesy, and chow down.

I have tried lots of BBQ Ribs at many restaurants, but Q has the best ribs in town. I have been coming here a for a few years now, and they have never disappointed me. I make it a point to never come here on Fri or Saturdays because it is super busy. I always sit in the bar area because I like the atmosphere even though there is plenty of seating inside, besides the service is fast sitting at the bar. Usually I order a Half Slab St. Louis Ribs with Cold Slaw and Short Bread — Delicious! The ribs fall off the bone as they should, and the BBQ sauce that the ribs are covered in has a great smoked flavored taste. The prices are fair and the menu offers a lot of more than just ribs. All and all, I will keep coming back to Q not unless their quality in food changes for the worse.

This place was AMAZING! On the way home from a convention in NJ and we live in MA so we used Unilocal to find a place on the way back home. When we came in we were greeted with such a warm welcome full of smiles. You place your order at the counter and get assigned a table so that they bring your food to you. As I was looking at the menu suggestions were made. I had some questions as to the cheeses corn and he asked if I wanted to try it. I got the smoked sausage with the cheese corn and potato salad. It also came with corn bread. Everything tasted splendid. My friend got the sweet tea and it came in a mason jar. Turns out that it’s also free refills and you get to keep the jar. They are vacuum sealed with lemon and fresh mint inside. We plan to come back again. Defiantly worth the small detour off the highway!

Real decent BBQ. I would give it 3.5 stars if I could, but I decided to round up. I’m in town often on business and I’m always trying to find hole in the wall joints. This definitely qualifies. I ate at the bar — the beer, bourbon, and rye(rye!) selection is fantastic. Baskets of homemade chips are on the bar. Yes! I ordered the two meat plate with cheesy corn and mac n cheese. The brisket was good — maybe a little too fatty(and I don’t mind fatty brisket). To be fair, the guy asked me what cut I wanted. Many Q places never do that, so bonus points. The sides? Mediocre is being too nice. Both cheesy sides were watery and bland. Try others. I was going to go for the pulled pork but the guy says to try the ribs instead. So glad I did! These ribs were perfect — juicy, smoky, and tender. They did not fall off the bone and they aren’t supposed to! I read other reviews and even though I am a bit of a bbq snob I thought some were kind of harsh. I’ll come back here and try more stuff. The food didn’t bring tears to my eyes but it was very solid — and worth the price.

Very good BBQ for Westchester. I have a few complaints. First off, my food has been luke warm both times I’ve dined here. It doesn’t kill the meal, but it’s annoying. Secondly, they ran out of ribs(I was there last hour before close). I wasn’t upset they ran out of the ribs, I was upset they told me after they charged my credit card. I ordered a combo meat plate. The ribs make it expensive, the most desirable item on the plate. They offered more of the items I was already getting, instead of allowing me to pick a dessert or another item of my choice. I decided to not make a fuss and have the extra meat, but I was underwhelmed by their illogical solution. I’ll return to give this place a few more chances because the quality of the BBQ is very good.

As many have mentioned, this place has extremely good BBQ food! It is definitely the best BBQ food I have had around the area, including Long Island areas. The workers are nice & the atmosphere is very welcoming, but the food is just amazing! It is a bit pricey compare to other BBQ places I have been to, but still the best. I’ll be back!

What an accomodating place. We were having a little gathering at my friends store down the block and we wanted to grab a bite to eat and bring it back and eat. They even gave us free ice for our drinks(the alchoholic ones we had back at the store) eventhough we didn’t order any actual drinks from the restaurant. We placed the order in advanced for pickup and it was waiting when we got there. Checkout process was very quick and friendly. I got the Q Sampler Plate since it was my first time and I wanted to taste a little of everything. It includes Chicken, Brisket, Ribs, & Pulled Pork and it comes with two sides and cornbread. The portion is definitely enough for two people althought I wish there were more ribs and less brisket that came with it. For my sides I selected mac and cheese and hickory pit baked beans. The cornbread was nice, good consistency and not too cakey. It was a cut square and not a muffin(like some places give). The mac and cheese was made with shells and you can tell the sauce was homemade. It wasn’t cheese wiz or canned cheese. It honestly tasted like they started with a thickened roux and real cheese was added. It even tasted good re-heated and most mac’s dont stand up to the test when it comes to poppin it in the microwave later. It wasn’t dry or nasty the sauce was still nice and creamy. The beans were smoky and sweet with pieces of pork and heavy on the bbq sauce which I didn’t mind because their house bbq sauce is pretty tasty. My husband thought it was a little too sweet but he prefers spicier tangy sauces. I dipped my corn bread into the beans for added moistness, not that it was dry or anything but I never let any tasty sauce go to waste! Now onto the meat… the brisket was okay, I’m not a huge fan of it generally and I probably wouldn’t order it again. There were three thin slices of it. The ribs were fantastic with fall off the bone goodness. Their only downfall was they were a little on the fatty side but that happens unfortunately. There were about 4 of them stacked on top of the brisket and chicken in a plastic container. The meat was super tender and flavorful with an appropriate amount of sauce and smokiness. They weren’t super slathered. They do provide extra sauce on the side as well, but only one. I think two would be more appropriate based on the amount of food in this order. The chicken was perfect, very nice lean cut also smoky and delicious but they do charge $ 1 extra for white meat which I think is silly especially since the meal itself is already almost $ 30. The pulled pork comes on the side in its own container. The chunks of meat were nicely shredded yet the bites were plentiful. Personally I think it was a little on the dry side and could have used a little more tenderness and sauce but still very edible. This is where I poured most of my sauce. The best parts of the meal were the chicken, ribs and the pulled pork probably comes in third as long as I have a decent amount of sauce to add to it. Now that I’ve sampled most of their offerings I would recommend the two meat combo or the rib plate.
