My husband and I love to try new restaurants and so when we were looking for a casual place to grab some burgers we were excited to try this new spot in Mamaroneck, Ambiance wise, this place feels cool and fun. I did find it hard to read the beers on tap on the chalkboards from where we were sitting however i just got up from my seat and got close enough so I could read him. would be nice to have a printed daily flyer… We decided to start with the brisket ravioli. They came out and seemed to be a little bit overdone, the panko breadcrumbs were almost black. Also, I thought they were a bit spicier than I would have anticipated. I wish the menu or the server had described them a little better. My husband seemed to like them and the sauce had deent flavor. I had a burger and my husband has pulled pork for our mains. Burger was o.k. not the most amazing burger ive ever had. To be honest I was a bit surprised the black pepper bacon was as sweet as it was — and to me had no hint of pepper. My husband seemed to like his pulled pork. The side mac and cheese was just as good as the Annies homegrown i make at home, so yes is was delicious, however nothing to knock your socks off. My husbands mac could have used a tad more flavor, but overall not bad. The food in general was good, better than the average bar food, just not knock your socks off great. I think the thing that bothered me most was the service. Being in the service industry for about 15 years I tend to unfortunately notice every little area where things can be improved. The server was nice and did get our order right — which was a great start. The main issue for me happend after the appetizer came out when we decided to wrap half of it up and take it home. We tidied up the table, placed our utensils on the appetizer plates and pushed the bowl with the ravioli to the edge. Two servers were standing at the front looking our direction and just kept standing there and talking. 10 minutes went by and the appetizer just sat on the table while servers continued to walk back and forth right by our table without asking if we wanted the plate to be cleared. The appetizer was not cleared until the main entrees came! Table pre bussing is not only good service for the patrons, but helps restaurants turn tables over faster. It just befuddles me when servers are too busy standing around chatting doing nothing rather than being attentive. Overall, the food was ok and the place is new so there’s always room for improvement. It wouldn’t be my primary dining choice next time in Mamaroneck, but I cant say I would never eat here again.

The food is quite excellent but service is truly awful. They are extremely slow and disorganized. It was our second visit and we hoped that they would have their act together by now. They don’t!We brought a big group and everyone said the same thing –food was great but they wouldn’t return because of the lousy service. Takeout only!

First love was the New Rochelle location, now a more gastro pub vibe happening here. Great selection of craft beers, bourbon, whiskey, and full bar… food is amazing. The pork and beans are the best you could ever ask for… tri tip is perfection. Smokehouse New Rochelle always been our go to place; now Smokehouse Mamaroneck is added to our list

Glad this place was brought into Mamaroneck, this place makes number 2 of the 2 epic locations, one in New Rochelle NY and this one. I’ve seen the first location grow from the start to what it is now. It’s a dedicated business bringing great homegrown, home cooked bbq style food. I love the set up of this new place has a great feel to it, Mike and Justin have done a fantastic job. The beers on tap are amazing, great local quality brews at your request, beers from all over, NYVT etc! Must haves here are the burgers, wings and brisket weds! Everything is made from scratch and created by the chef! Recent I got to try the flatbread pulled pork pizza, was fantastic and cooked to perfection with excellent crisp to it! I love that they have a sports night for the NY Rangers, and they make it fun, offering prizes for the Rangers success whether beer or food! A great fun atmosphere for lunch or dinner or even just drinks! Parking on the avenue can be a pain. So have patience.

We just had an awesome family meal at Smokehouse… crispy skin chicken with mashed potatoes, ½ rack of ribs, skirt steak, fries, salad, onion soup. Delicious! The wine and beer were good too! Great service and love the atmosphere, lively and casual. Definitely going back soon. it is now one of our favorites. Great addition to Mamaroneck Ave. The kids want to go back tomorrow!

My wife and I had walked by this place a few months ago and were peering in the window and out popped one of the wait staff with a menu and a very welcoming introduction to the place and we finally had the chance to come by. Not sure about some of the negative reviews. The football game was on and it was 8:00 on a Saturday night and the place was loud but not any more loud than any other place to eat. Not too thrilled with the Black Jack cocktail which had way too much ice but the food was great. My son is a picky eater and they made him a plate of bacon. Otherwise the PBLT was a delicious roll if pork belly, a fried tomato and lettuce and a fab side of baked beans. My wife had a burger and mashed potatoes, my daughter had the pulled pork sandwich with Mac and cheese and my other daughter had the appetizer chicken and waffles and we split a fries. All the food was fresh, made to order and excellent. I was surprised to see some empty tables but enough people were there and having a good time. Certainly a place to come back to.

Ok. New place in town… Had to stop in. We came in on Sunday & football was on. I guess sports will always be on in here. The menu has burgers, sandwiches, pizzas, wings and regular kind of bar food. With sandwiches and burgers you get a side of your choice. Skip the mashed potatoes they were super watery. I think they were instant actually. The sweet potatoes were amazing. The pulled pork sandwich was ok. Nothing great. If you happen to want amazing pulled pork go down the street to 360. The burgers were good. We didn’t get beer but there is a good selection. The service was pretty good. Not overly attentive or friendly. The noise level was sort of crazy. It wasn’t packed but it felt that way. This space needs some noise absorbing panels. The last restaurant that was here also needed these panels. Overall, good place for a burger and to watch a game. But for a casual good meal for the same price and bigger portions in Mamaroneck head down to 360 American grille.

Really nice spot with great food and creative spirits. What really made our meal great was our server Alex. She went above normal duty to make sure we had an excellent experience. My drink was made with fresh grapefruit juice and agave. Cocktails are so much better with fresh squeezed juice. Im dying to try their homemade lemonade Wings came out and looked beautiful. My burger was huge and delicious. They easily accommodated my no bread request and made me a lettuce bun. Many sides to choose from including grilled brussel sprouts. I came here with brisket on my mind but it is only available on Wednesday. There is large booths in front of restaurant with more tables in back. Some 2 top tables were a little close together. I noticed 2 women next to me dining on fried chicken between waffles… yum! Im looking forward to coming back soon.

WOW, Called at 6 to order for pick up… surprise they now deliver… oh only to mamaroneck, not white plains… wait we will delver to you… 30 minutes later, wings, ribs, fries and onion soup arrived … everything was excellent, soup suffered a little from the ride but microwaved and was well worth eating… wings and ribs were great… fries needed a little love from a hot oven but all in all… GREATJOB!!!

On a Sunday afternoon decided to get BBQ in this new spot I heard of. Spent $ 80 on takeout and when I got home I was a bit disappointed to see no BBQ sauce for my full slab of Ribs. The crispy Chicken order was just a LEG for $ 14.00. The small side portions for $ 4.00 each, left you wanting more. Missing«Coleslaw» too! Pros– Tender Meat(ribs), flavorful beans with good pieces of pulled pork, Mac and cheese was Amazing in flavor and texture(just the right amount of cheese), and cornbread was decent. We had a drink called«BlackJack» was really good and strong. Customer service could be a little better in my opinion.

This place has great food, but the atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired. The barbecue is authentic and tasty. It’s good enough to make me want to come back here, but aside from the food, eating here is not a pleasant and relaxing experience. It’s a real«man’s man» kind of place. There are screens everywhere, loudly blasting whatever game is on. Patrons at the tables are not discouraged from shouting and cheering and otherwise being loud and disruptive. The acoustics of the room put plenty if reverb on an already noisy space. Relaxation and quiet conversation are impossible. The bar is stocked with more beer and whiskey than anything else. The whole place seems to encourage the stereotype that barbecue is a guy thing and guys like sports and being loud and a lack a variety in the bar. Service is a little spotty. My server was friendly and usually was prompt with our food, but I had to ask for water at least twice and had to ask two different people before I received it. At the end of the meal I asked for a dessert menu and the server said he would come back with one and disappeared. When he returned he asked if I wanted anything else and I reminded him that I had asked for a dessert menu. He said they didn’t have one and he would tell us what the desserts are. Why couldn’t he do that 10 minutes earlier? I’ll come back here for the food, but not on a Sunday night.

Service is great. Beer choices nice. Food and atmosphere a bit generic. Had the pulled pork — bun great, coleslaw great /pulled pork a bit bland needed a lot of barbecue sauce to make it memorable. Side of Brussels sprouts — nice but didn’t go far enough.

It’s sadly very hard to find a truly good burger … That being said the Smoke House has one of the best I’ve had! The meat is flavorful and certainly of good quality. I LOVETHEWINGS! Who knew smoking chicken wings with tea leaves could result in such an awesome flavor… The staff was very friendly and they had a good selection of beer. It’s a chill place to hang out and watch a game… If that’s what you’re into. Or just hang out with friends.

Great addition! SO happy that I can come here to unwind and have delicious food. Really impressed by their selection on tap. I also expected crappy out of the jug wines(since they could get away with it), but their wine list is solid with great prices. I’ve been twice and service has been fine both times. Wings: Spicy & smoky. These are dry-rub and not wings dripping in buffalo sauce. Ribs: Really tender! You won’t be disappointed. Burger: It was actually cooked medium rare, more on the rare side. Other than at Peter Luger it’s a struggle to find this. Please don’t change! PBLT: really really good! The only thing that didn’t impress was the side salad, but what do you expect? Next time I’ll just give in to the delicious calories and go for the beans. Personally I hope they keep BS kids options OFF the menu. The place is the perfect size to relax at the bar and a bit small for kids to be running around crying.

Heard great things about this place from friends in the area, so my wife and I made the trip out from the city. Really glad we did. Smokehouse has unbelievable food, an awesome beer selection, and a great, laid-back atmosphere. Service was extremely nice, too. Definitely get an app or two — you’ve never had wings like theirs. For entrees, I had the crispy skin chicken and my wife had the pulled pork. I’m from the southwest and grew up on good BBQ, but even I haven’t had meat smoked like this. At one point, the owners even came out to check on us. The kitchen really knows what they’re doing here, and the beer is great. Add in a little football, and it’s the perfect weekend spot.
