Who doesn’t want lunch or dinner overlooking the water? If so, Lulu’s is the place to go on any weekend other than TPC week or the Fourth of July. You can eat outside on the patio overlooking the intercostal or inside and watch the latest sports event. Regardless of where you sit, it is light casual and fun atmosphere. My wife and I ate dinner here recently and our server was fantastic. We started off with some delectable fried green tomatoes, then moved on to a fish basket(me) and oyster basket(not me). They both come with salad and side and it was so much food we had to get several togo containers. We then walked out and sat outside for a while watching the stars and making a contest to see who could see the first shooting star(again, not me). Parking can be a challenge but they do have valet on some nights and the parking lot is pretty big. I also noticed that things slowed down dramatically after 8:00PM or so. So if you don’t mind eating a little later, this may be a good way to avoid the hectic dinner crush.

What other restaurant has not only the manager but the chef come to your table and check in? Yummy cheesey biscuits, generous drink servings, the shrimp dip is fresh and loaded with fresh avocados! My new fav is the cod-tender and savory potatoes and heirloom tomatoes/olives!

This place is jumping on a Friday night! They offer free valet parking which is a bonus. They have live music and have extended the outside area. Our table was indoors which was incredibly noisy, as the whole place was buzzing. Great service and fantastic food. The clam chowder is delicious, the salads and good too. But the fish tacos… Amazing! And you can take your drinks out into the deck which is nice on a lovely night.

BEWARE! Lulu’s Waterfront Grille is fraudulent. They charged my visa card twice for my dinner! Once for the amount of dinner before the tip, and once for an amount larger than the tip I left! I called the manager to let them know there had been a mistake, and he assured me that most restaurants charge you for twice the amount of the meal and the second amount will drop off in a couple days. Is this guy joking? I must have sounded really gullible over the phone. I told him I check my account frequently and have never had that happen to me before. Even if that was the case the tip I left didn’t match up to the charge on my card! He told me that customers have called him before complaining about this and it is just a fault in their payment system, and I should be refunded in a couple days. Sounds to me like they use this excuse a lot when they get caught charging someone twice. Has this happened to anyone else? Be sure you check your bank account! Our servers name was Ashley P.

First off, the view of this place is great! Sweet view on the inner coastal makes the best of your meal. I ordered the fried shrimp with a side of fries. Crispy, tender, and overall spectacular. My family members ordered the Caesar salad and the shrimp and grits. Amazing they said. We also had the peanut butter pie and chocolate mint crème brûlée. The only issue that I found disappointing with Lulu’s was our server. She didn’t seem like she wanted to be there, with a grumpy cat attitude. It took her several minutes to come to our table and ask us for drink orders. After our great meal, she didn’t take all of the dishes including the bread basket, dirty bread plates and silverware. Overall, I think the meal was great, but the server needs some extra training.

Casual dinning with a view! Need a little attitude with dinner? Go next door(which is very good as well). But if you feel like relaxing and enjoying a great location, head here. Location: Right on the intercostal, great views. Small lot, but if its full, then you may want to try another place(wait will be tough). Food: Loved my alfredo bayou. My wife swears by the fish tacos(and she’s always in search for some quality fish tacos). Enjoyed the Caesar salad as well. Look forward to returning for some crab specials. Everything was tasty and ingredients seemed to be of a good quality. Service: A little slow, but friendly which makes up for any slowness. And really, this isn’t a «in a rush» place, relax! Will return!

We ended up here after our golf adventure at Sawgrass. The food was good, your basic fried or not fried seafood. There is plenty of seating and screens on the deck for outside views of the sunset. Cool place with a neat atmosphere. I just wish the portions of my fish sandwich were a little larger and the french fry pile could have been a little more generous.

We came here on a Wednesday night with a reservation. We didn’t bring our kids. We were seated on the deck, outside. Daniel was our server. Excellent, kind and attentive service. We started with the fried green tomatoes. They were presented with microgreens and tomato and onion topping. Very good. The gentleman had the filet, it was cooked appropriately. My best friend had the fish tacos, rated a 3. Cooked right but not seasoned as such. I had the Alaskan Crab Legs. They were good, I’m rating them a 4. My veggies were broccoli and squash, quite delish. Daniel brought many Chardonnay carafes and was very cheerful and kind. We are rating 4 mostly on his service.

Great service and atmosphere. Casual. A Little loud but that’s okay. Enjoyed grouper pontchartrain and hush puppies outside on porch with a view. Nice.

Happened by one afternoon while cruising along Roscoe road. Best fried shrimp in Jacksonville area! Delicious tropical cole slaw and hush puppies with the right amount of crisp and flavor. Loved it and will visit often. Sat on the screened in porch along the intracoastal and it was beautiful! Awesome service, fair price.

First, the ambience is extraordinary! With a firepit in the back where burning embers crackled and the view of the water crests and troughs right outside our window, it was quite a romantic sight. Yes, I visited on Valentine’s day. Oh yes, back to the reason for my trip. I ordered the intercoastal linguine! It was absolutely phenomenal! I would return and try their crab cakes and mahi-mahi. The whole menu looked great, but it is not your place if you do not prefer seafood. I also had some of my mom’s clam chowder, which was really flavorful. Did I mention that they have Arnold Palmers?

My family and I come here every 2 weeks at the very least! This evening it was my grandmothers 73rd birthday and we went all out! The food was great! For apps we did Shrimp cocktail, fried calamari, and gator tail. Let’s not forget the mojitos(Sadly they stopped using the yummy rock candy sticks as stirrers). Everything was great but in particular the special of the night, pork chops with a side of Brussel sprouts enhanced with chorizo and a sweet potato smear! I can honestly say that was prepared perfectly!!! If you want some great specials in a nice setting on the water this is the place! Call ahead to see what the specials are! Trust me you won’t go wrong with the chops! As a side note the prices are extremely reasonable :)

This place is AWESOME! It’s a little off the beaten path, but it is so worth it! We came on a Wednesday night to take advantage of the ALLYOUCANEATCRAB! At $ 34.99 per person, it was a bit of a splurge, but being from Ohio, we don’t get a lot of opportunities like this, and we ate our money’s worth! They take reservations too, so during peak tourist season, that’d be great! The crab was delicious. The service was amazing. Our waiter, Fred kept bringing us fresh crab and was on top of the refills! The location is also really cool. We dined on the deck, which was great! But not to worry, on «cold» nights, they have flaps they can close and heat they can turn on so it never gets too cold, which we’ve learned is like 65 degrees for you Florida folks!(65 in Ohio is short pants and swimmin’ weather!) Can’t wait to get back to JAX and hit up Lulu’s again!

Lulu’s has been one of our go-to places for over 10 years. They have an attentive, caring staff and are an authentic, rustic fish camp. If you want to experience the real deal, eat at Lulu’s! Recommended items are Shrimp and Grits, Calamari, and Blackened Grouper. During our last visit I was excited to see Fish Tacos on the menu as a «New» item. Unfortunately I was very disappointed in the lack of flavor they had. If you’re going to add fish tacos in this day and age, they better be spectacular, not bland. Hopefully they will work on that and get them right.

Very enjoyable. Perfect spot on the intercostal. Little disappointed that the only parking is valet but guess you have to live with it. Beautiful lobby and staff is very courteous! Room is a little tight but nice. Nice view from room. Lots of red which for me is a bit much but very nice. Internet on phone was hard to make work. You can only have one device per room connected to the internet. Not very happy with that since we are Premier Rewards members. Even though it is nice, think I would think hard about staying here again.

This is one time where I wish they had ½ stars, I would give them a 4−½. Couldn’t find them listed on Open Table to make a reservation so I phoned them directly. They only take reservations for parties of 6 or more so our group of 4 was on our own. We decided to give em a try anyway. Pretty easy to find albeit off the beaten path of A1A and Solano Rd. We made our way into the unsaved driveway and managed to find an open parking space, ahhh off to a good start. We checked in with the hostess desk which was unattended for several minutes and added ourselves to the waiting list. 35 minutes we were told and found our way over to the bar. We grabbed a round of drinks and headed out front away from the crowds. 35 minutes was obviously a guess as we were called for our table in less than 15 minutes. We were seated outside overlooking the water as we hoped so things just kept getting better. I asked our waiter if they had any specials or if he recommended anything. We placed drink orders and considered the menu options. 3 of us ordered the Grouper Ponchatrain, I had mine prepared blackened. The dish was a mixture of rice, vegetables and of course the Grouper. Spectacular! The other in our group ordered Salmon. Service was on point, drinks and dinner were great as was the company of our new friends to dine with. I would definitely go back and the menus appeared to have something for everyone!

Stopped here for Mother’s Day and to watch the TPC. Sitting outside near the water was very nice. I was happy to see it wasn’t too crowed since it was so close to Sawgrass. We had a party of 10 that they were able to accommodate outside. Our server was very sweet and attentive. I love when I ask for recommendations and excellent suggestions. I had the crab cake sandwich. The crab patty was a solid size. Very impressed along with their pasta salad. It was a tad oily but had a good flavor. Jimmy had the blackened fish sandwich. I think it was grouper. I tried a few bites. Yummy. The prices were decent and the food delicious. They also have a put put area for kids to play.
