Not a bad Chinese Restaurant. Very small and has only one table, so it’s definitely a «To-​go» establishment. My wife and I ordered take out from here on Friday night (11 Dec) and I ordered the Dragon and Phoenix and her Wonton Soup and Scallion Pancakes. For $ 20.00, not too bad. They also deliver, but not sure how far they go. They also have coupons on their website:
I didn’t take a picture of the food, but I got a nice helping of Dragon and Phoenix, with white rice and it was very yummy, hot and hit the spot! The Wonton soup was good, nothing special (I mean, how can you make Wonton Soup special? lol) and the Scallion Pancakes were a tad greasy, but that’s ok. You don’t order them because they are good for you lol. You can certainly do worse in Chinese places, and you won’t be disappointed in this one.

It’s Chinese food! Do you like Chinese food? Then you will probably like New Ho King Kitchen. It’s, by far, not the best Chinese restaurant I have been to, but, also, not nearly the worst. The order was accurate, which is appreciated, and the food, as with all Chinese food, contained an addictive chemical which makes me crave it fortnightly. Damn you Chinese food! Daaaaamn yoooouuuuuuu!

By far the best Chinese food in Pompton Lakes. With 3 other place very close to them, it took a while to find them, but I will never go anywhere else for Chinese food. They actually make spicy dishes spicy, which most others do not. I’ve sampled most of the menu and have never been disappointed.

Order from here 1 – 2 times per week. The delivery is quick and the food is hot. I really like their won ton and hot and sour soup. Great flavor in the hot and sour and their wontons kept out of liquid until soup is ready. (the wontons are never sitting in the soup making them to soft and mushy). Love the taste and quality of Chicken with Walnuts — creamy white coconut sauch with breaded fried chicken pieces served with crispy fresh broccoli. General Tso’s and Sesame chicken served in similar way also with a delicious sauce. They are very willing to change any order to your liking and online ordering is extremely convenient.

BEST BEST BEST Chinese food you can find!
Everything just tastes so freshly made here, and the staff is great. The egg rolls and cheese wontons are perfectly fried to a crisp without being too greasy. I ALWAYS order their General Tso’s Bean Curd. Now I’m not a vegetarian, but this dish is to die for! I don’t know how they prepare that tofu, but it’s so crispy and light, yet meaty enough to feel like you’re eating chicken. If you’ve had a bad experience with tofu (and just about everyone has), please give tofu another try with this dish. You won’t regret it.
They also serve brown rice, which they prepare perfectly. The chicken and beef dishes are also great. The kitchen is right behind the counter and the whole place is wide open so you can actually watch them cook, which I love. This place really is Chinese food done perfect.

My wife and I love this place. Great food and very friendly staff. We usually get the same thing so we don’t have a wide experience of the menu, but the food is always consistent no matter when we order.
We have been going there for over two years now and they recognize us and ask us how they are doing.
We had tried one other place in Pompton Lakes before Ho King Kitchen, but since going here we haven’t felt the need to try anyplace else.
I guess they now have a website which I’ve never seen from a take-​out restaurant where you can order online too so this place takes pride in making its business better.
Its a small takeout place so you probably aren’t going to sit down and eat but the food is worth it for take-​out or delivery.
