Recommend by a friend to try this place out. Great bar scene. Food was excellent. Try their Seabass and their pounded veal chop parm. Homemade Italian cheesecake was amazing. They even bought us a glass of wine because we told them it was our first visit. We will be back. Thank you parkland for this neighborhood gem. Thank you Joe and Patrizia for making us feel at home.

I had the Veal Piccata, which tasted excellent. It was balanced, not overly leaning to any particular flavor. On the side was sautéed broccoli that also tasted delicious. The staff were all friendly. My only qualm was that I check their prices on Open Table before dinner and those prices were unfortunately incorrect, being nearly 10 dollars off the actual price. This restaurant may be too expensive for this area. Had I not had a Unilocal deal, I do not think I would have dined there with my date.

The new Chef David is Fabulous!!! Great specials and really improved the regular menu items by miles! It is my new favorite place you have to try it!!! They are working on a whole new menu so I can’t wait to return.

I came here to celebrate a farewell dinner for a friend. It was a Monday night so I expected it to be slow, there were 2 – 3 other tables of just women. The owner Patrizia came to the table and chatted with us for a bit. Someone mentioned that she usually does this. The cesar salad was overdressed. My main dish was a cheese ravioli dished topped with shrimp and a creamy orange sauce. I took home leftovers and it was even better the next day. I don’t drink but the ladies had a few glasses of wine and lemon drop shots(whatever that is). Let’s say that they did not seem disappointed. *The bathroom was clean and elegant.

Update to my last review: Unfortunately Villa Patrizia has now fallen down on my list. It seems like in the summer their happy hour is quite different than in «season». When we were here last night, happy hour was only on «well» drinks(i.e. Crappy Svedka vodka). The bartender said he could help me out and do a stoli he had opened — I said how about stoli citrus — oh no I can’t do flavored vodka. I honestly don’t see why that matters. Anyway I can certainly tell why the bar was empty. Happy hour menu had only 5 items — 2 of them eggplant, fried calamari, baked clams(now 6 instead of 12). It’s a shame the food is good but the lack of consistency and constant nickel and dime changes are going to turn off the locals if it hasn’t already given the lack of people in the place.

Want my full experience? Here it goes… My mom and I found this place and it seemed to have good reviews and it was new, why not. We walk in and the people that worked there noticed we were just standing there but not one greeted us. The cook in the back had to ask the bartender to seat us after a few minutes. Once we got seated, which by the way there was just one additional family besides us in this huge room, the server took our drink order and left. We tried to order calamari, but they didn’t have that so we ordered baked clams and had bread service. Those two dishes, we thought, hey this may be good. Then we ordered our dishes which we ordered veal marsala and sea bass with broccoli in a tomato, olive sauce. What seemed to be 30 minutes later, the server came back and said they didn’t have broccoli so we got broccoli rabe(it’s still broccoli). When we got our dishes, the sea bass came out in a francese sauce(not what we ordered) and veal marsala with pasta. The pasta was undercooked and the sauce was under flavored. The sea bass obviously did not come in how we ordered but the dish and the broccoli were over salted. While eating, the cooks were cursing in the background and what seemed to be the owner(?) kept coming up to us telling us bon appetit which at first I thought she was a customer. Overall, our server was friendly but this place wont last. To come in on a Thursday and only two tables are there and they can’t get the order right or have some ingredients that every italian restaurant should have and have the workers be under managed and unorganized, I give this place another month. It’s over priced for what it is and to be quite blunt, it was creepy.

Villa Patrizia… what a great place. No matter lunch or dinner, you can enjoy the blend of a casual, yet sophisticated atmosphere. The food is absolutely pure dynamite. We have eaten in other restaurants and paid more to receive and experience less. Villa Patrizia manager, Joe Veno, has his act together and is totally focused on patron satisfaction.

Their food is fabulous. I am a fan of the veal parmigiana. The waiter has my order memorized, including my drink. Love the service! Their food is delicious. The staff is very friendly. This is my family’s favorite restaurant.

Absolutely amazing! I am Italian so I have high standards. With my own grandma making fresh sauce it’s hard to me to eat at any Italian place. But I finally found a place to call home. From their pasta plates to chicken Madeira. To their amazing red sauce that’s so amazingly fresh! To the fresh bread and olive oil and herb dipping sauce they give you, it’s an astonishing place. I went for ladies night so cocktails were 4 $! And you can’t beat that. The bartender Nicole is amazing and I highly recommend her! She’s so sweet — as well as the whole entire staff there. They truly make you feel at home. I got lucky, they had a piano player for the perfect ambiance. So happy I found this adorable true Italian hidden gem :)

Went on a Saturday night with 4 other couples and left very happy. We started at the bar with a couple of drinks, bartenders were knowledgable and accommodative and their selection of beers were good. As we moved into the dining room it’s nice to see the«open kitchen«and the cooks that seemed like they were enjoying what they were doing. It wasn’t overly packed which is surprising especially given that the entrees that came out were well-prepared and everyone kept commenting on how good they taste. Penne ala vodka was exceptional and a nice compliment to the meatballs and the veal parmigiana. Noodles were cooked al dente and the sauce was so good we spooned the rest out and soaked it up with the remaining bread. The bill came and everyone was completely full(no dessert) and the bill came out to $ 85 per couple with a 20% tip, really not bad considering the drinks and the amount of food that was brought out Nice job by the staff and the restaurant making us feel welcomed and providing us with an awesome meal, finished off by hanging out in the bar area with great people

The food is disgusting!!! So overpriced for what is served. Chicken parmesan tasted like what i would imagine fried cardboard to taste like. Everything was bland. To top it off, a vegan friend asked for just sautéed vegetables and they served her all fried vegetables on a plate which looked like burnt brown crud. Needless to say, our table of 4 left disappointed and hungry.

4÷30÷15 We were meeting friends for dinner. We were the first to arrive and sat at the bar, ordered a couple of drinks. Thought we could listen to music from Frank, who was scheduled to be there, only for him to tell us he was«bumped» by someone else. The management had just told him. So, that was not a good start. After our drinks we attempted to cash out to go to the dining room and had to ask the bartender at least 3 times to give us our check. So, we head to dinner. First waiter comes over and greets us, I ask about specials. He «attempts» to give us the specials, but has a very thick accent and we cannot understand him. After a few minutes, 2nd waiter comes over and says the first waiter has to go attend to a party, and he’s our waiter. Asked for specials again, we order drinks and an appetizer. They bring bread, which was fresh and warm — but no garlic bread? We asked, nope, they don’t have it. We order dinner. Our dinner comes — but never got our appetizer. Asked about it, and he says, oh, I forgot to put the order in. Wow, okay, forget it. We had to ask for refills on water and tea. Had to ask for more bread and butter. The shrimp scampi was average. Meatballs the same. The one special was good. The service is very poor in my opinion. A LOT of work to be done there. The prices are WAY too high for the type of service and food we had. This was our first and last time there.

Was really hesitant to eat here after reading some reviews, but I heard enough good from people I felt I should see for myself. Came in just for a drink so we sat at the bar. There were 2 bartenders who were both pleasant in greeting us. Wasn’t sure if I was in the mood for wine or liquor. Had and extensive wine list with fair prices and a large selection of liquor. We came early, and there were only a few others sitting at the bar. As time went by, more and more people started to crowd the bar. Seemed like the bartenders knew most of them by name, or acted like the did. That is the type of hospitality I like to see in a neighborhood restaurant. As crowded as it became, they always found time to make sure we were comfortable. Got hungry and decided to order. Food was excellent. We had the penne alla vodka and stuffed chicken. Portions were enormous. Sad to see why some people were upset, but I’m giving this place 5 stars.

This place is great. I came in Saturday night with a group of six people, they were very busy. We did not have a reservation so we had a drink at the bar while waiting for our table. Fortunately for us, they have happy hour till 7:30 which resulted in a free round of drinks for the whole table, definitely a bonus. The table was ready after about 10 – 15 minutes, we were greeted with a warm assortment of bread and a delicious kind of herb butter. After ordering drinks the waiter went over the specials from salads to stuffed veal chops, We wanted to order it all. I decided before I even arrived that I was going with seafood for that evening. I ordered the Seabass oreganata it was outstanding. The fish was cooked perfectly and exploded with flavor. My wife had the stuffed chicken, another wow on the menu. There was a live band at the bar, so we decided to stay for another drink and enjoyed the great atmosphere at the bar. I left there very satisfied and can not wait to come back and show more of my friends about this neighborhood gem.

Went to Villa Patrizia in Parkland with a reservation. Arrived at 6pm. Was not even served. Very disappointed! They originally said a 10 minute wait. Have a drink at the bar. Never even got a table. Left hungry at 10pm. Never going back!!!

New place, took over Petes Bella Sera. Same chef, better prices. Great drinks, warm and welcoming bartender. Had the meatballs– outstanding as to the meatballs, and especially the sauce-not too sweet, not bitter, it’s the kind of sauce that you want to put in a glass and drink! As of January 21, open three weeks. Check it out.
