All Star Pizza & Italian Restaurant

Came here with the Orphans 4 for our usual weekly jaunt and found the place clean and efficient and shared a meat lover’s Pizza and 2 Philly Cheese-​steak hoagies between us and the taste was good but not exceptional as I read in some of the previous reviews, but the service was good and we had no complaints.

The pizza was excellent and I loved my pasta dish. Service was fast and friendly. I will definitely be dining here more often.

I’ve been coming here since before it was All-​Star pizza and I’ve always been a fan. It’s conveniently located in the publix plaza on 441. Inside there are a few tables and a booth area, it’s a small hole in the wall but this place is not to be messed with.
My husband and I went out for a date night and stopped in to grab a bite prior to going out, ordered mozzarella sticks (my favorite), a spicy buffalo chicken pizza, which had delicious crispy chicken but could’ve been a lot cheesier and had a little more spice. The staff is friendly and over all it’s a great place to try or order for delivery.

I’m from out of town and happen to find this place on Unilocal.Ordered a spinach/​onion calzone which tasted so fresh and delicious when it came out. It also came with salad and garlic rolls which also tasted amazing. Also tried the white clam spaghetti which was unique and tasted great. Definitely recommend this mom and pop place to anyone who loves Italian food.

Our new favorite place for pizza and homestyle Italian food — the best in town!!! The pizza is really great, sauce is just right on nice thin crust and seasoned perfectly — closest I can find to NJ down here. Their pasta dishes are spot on delish and the garlic rolls are just to die for. All of the staff is very friendly and accommodating as well.

Just stopped in for a quick bite this afternoon and was delighted with the service, promptness and delish food! The owner and staff is friendly, the food is made fresh yet still fast and it tastes amazing! I also love that it is next to a mygym which makes it a nice treat after the kids play. Nice addition to the neighborhood!

Beyond awesome! Pizza is the BEST in Florida… fresh and delicious. James and his staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome and service is exceptional. The spaghetti with white calm sauce is better than I have had in a 5 star high end restaurant. Their Chicken Marsala is also amazing and the all portions are huge. We always get to take leftovers home! And make sure you save room for the Zeppolis… they are heavenly.

Spotted this place after I was attempting to find that woodburning pizza place in parkland only to find that they have changed the name and went a bit upscale and I was wearing flip flops and Jeans. I needed pizza and a casual place. This place was perfect. We had the NY Style Pizza place all to ourselves as we selected to eat on site. Most guest just grabbed their pizza and left. We also noticed they served pie by the slice which is not often seen down here. The very polite waitress didn’t seem to know what to do with us so she just went about her chores until our pizza was ready. She never asked us if we wanted drink refills but did anticipate or red pepper and parm needs. We loved the flavor of our pizza and will be back.

It was 9:30 and they had no more cheese slices left and would only give us cheese if we bought a pie. Eh.

My husband and I love the pizza from here! We moved to coconut creek and were iffy about trying the pizza places near by without any recommendations but decided to take a chance. This is literally the only place we go to in the area if we are craving pizza. The hubs gets delivery every once in a while to surprise me. The margherita is one of our regular choices :).

Very good pizza, I ordered the white pizza and it was Great. My son ordered cheese pizza and he loved. I really recommend this place.

Finally! I’m from Brooklyn Ny and have not had decent pizza in this area ever since I left in 1980. We’ve been searching and settling. My wife found this place based on the positive reviews here on Unilocal I was skeptical as usual but I figured it couldn’t be worse than the others. Anyhow, this pizza was as close to NY pizza as it gets. It arrived hot. A rare feat apparently for pizza delivery. The crust had a nice crisp bottom, not too thick or thin and not burnt to achieve that crisp. There was a correct ratio of cheese and sauce both seasoned properly. Not too sweet or salty. Half mushrooms for me was done well. My wife and I both ate our slices fully, crust and all. A first! The only other comment I can make is this is one of the first pizzas that did not require a paper towel to sop up the oozing oil on top. It was not dry either. Just right.
I will have to try some other dishes i.e. veal parmigiana and eggplant parmigiana etc. If they can pull those dishes off as well then we have a total winner! Btw. They said 45 min delivery. Arrived in 30 min.
Update: Ordered a couple slices sicilian and an eggplant parm hero. The siciliano ehh. Eggplant was good but they need to put it in the oven for 30 secs to crisp up the bread. Very good salad. I’ll stick with the regular round pizza next time.

Since I moved here from northeast, not too long ago, I was pleased to find the best pizzeria around within walking distance of my home! I’ve tried some other places close by, but this is THE place to be. James and his staff are awesome and always welcoming. Their kind of hospitality, combined with some great pizza; pasta and desserts, make this a place I frequent.

Their food is fresh and delicious. We’ve catered lunch here for our office multiple times and they never disappoint! Their specialty pizzas are not only unique for south Florida but also perfectly made. Plus their entrées are something picky New York Italians would eat! We will continue to order from this family owned pizzeria as much as possible.

Finally great quality Italian food delivered to your door made fresh with fresh ingredients. This is a great Famliy owned local restaurant! The owners are always there making sure the food is awesome. We have ordered delivery pizza from a lot of the Coral springs, Coconut Creek, West Boca and Parkland area and usually most of its low-​quality. And usually they take forever with Mediocre service. All the wraps, pizzas, and salads have been awesome. We have been ordering here for our collage game days and all of our guests have agreed the food was awesome.
Anyone who says the food isn’t great here doesn’t know what they are talking about!!!

Just moved nearby and we gave this place a shot. Turned out to be a great choice. Ordered pizza with pepperoni and mushrooms and a side of garlic knots. Both tasted great. If I had to be overly critical, the garlic knots had a lot of garlic but I guess that’s to be expected and the pepperoni tasted a tad bit on the spicier side… The crust was really delicious! They seem to only have one size of pizzas (large pie or slices) but they claim to make it fresh daily. And it sure didn’t taste like one of those generic frozen types. We had our food delivered and service was prompt. No complaints here. Needless to say, we will be back again to give this place another try.

Had to try this new pizzeria considering the 5 star reviews but sorry, this was a miss for me. I’m giving it an extra star to 3 stars for the service as our server was excellent.
We ordered a chicken parm hero and a large pizza half sausage. The chicken parm had good flavor but the bread was terrible. Which is a typical problem here in South Florida — everything gets put on mushy Cuban style bread. I don’t know why these places don’t buy their bread from a real Italian bakery or cut a deal with Western Beef up the road which bakes the BEST Italian bread in the area.
The pizza was terrible. Anyone who says this is just like New York pizza maybe hasn’t been back to New York and has just gotten used to the mediocrity of pizza here in South Florida.
The sausage on the pizza was crumbled sausage like they put on Pizza Hut pizza — terrible. Real New York pizza has real Italian sausage slices.
Now they have these cheap specials — $ 12.99 large pizza every day. Family of 4 dinner which is a pizza, spaghetti and meatballs and garlic rolls for like $ 24.99. This may be the reason why people give it 5 stars — I don’t know — not 5 star for me or my hubby as it relates to pizza.

Great place food is spectacular! One of the best Italian restaurants in South Florida. Don’t be deceive by the small appearance of the place, food is of very high quality best pie this side of New York if you’re looking for great atmosphere, at home feeling and great food look no further than here.

This will be our new pizza takeout spot. We got the Sunday Special pizza with ricotta and meatballs and it was very good. Linguini and clams were yum as well as stuffed shells. Garlic knots were great too.

Finally, I found good pizza in south Florida! We have tried many places in the area, with one worse than the next. We tried the Sunday special pizza and it was delicious!

All Star is a perfect name for this family owned and operated italian restaurant for no matter what what you order deserves «ALL STARS» and more! Everything from the REAL New York pizza, calzones, stomboli’s, heroes, salads, appetizers, dinners to the authentic deserts are amazing! You can tell the HOMEMADE from scratch smell the moment you walk through the door that the food will taste wonderful and it surely does! The prices are modest and portions more than adequate! The owners are friendly and you will feel right at home meeting them. Their homemade meatballs are one of my favorites and their homemade italian sauce is so good you would want to drink it! My family is fortunate this family runs their awesome restaurant in our neighborhood but even if you do not live very close by like we do you can rest assure they deliver! We definitely have plans in the future to order from the catering menu as well because why cook when ALL. STAR can do it for you?

What a great addition to the neighborhood! All Star Pizza has great pizza and so much more. Every item we have tried has been great… from standard cheese pizza to their specialty pies (try the Sunday Special, Chicken Parm pizza or Buffalo Chicken pizzas… so many choices we have lots more to try). Their dinners come with a healthy size green salad that you can tell is freshly made as well as delicious garlic knots. Dinner portions are big but prices are not. Calzone are outstanding and a big hit in our house. James, the owner, even made me an eggplant roll that for the first time took me back to my NY roots. Staff is friendly and engaging (ask for Mollie) and the overall dining experience is just what you’d want from your local neighborhood italian spot.

I am in love with this little Italian restaurant. The food is so good we started with a New York style pizza of oil dripping on your plate scrumptious pizza then we also had some outrageous plump wings alongside our pizza which were cooked to perfection. Next I had some clam sauce with linguine that had so many clams in it I would get clams with every spin of my fork, it was all cooked so perfectly & tasty. To end everything off we had some excellent melt in your mouth Italian zeppollis for dessert which were the best way to end this great meal. Will definitely be going back here again and again

Just had dinner here for the second time and I found the service, hospitality and food to be excellent. It’s a family owned restaurant that makes you feel like you’re eating in a nice neighborhood restaurant. The owner James came over to the table and welcomed my wife and I. Very nice. The waitresses were very pleasant and attentive. I highly recommend trying this place out. I will definitely go back again.

Great restaurant, convenient location. Pizza was perfectly cooked, thin and crispy, just right. I had a spinach calzone which was cooked just right. My husband had the chicken parm which was also delicious. They make a great sauce, which is rare for a pizza place. Love the side of sauce with the garlic rolls, nice touch!
The restaurant itself is very clean, and nicely decorated. The staff was very nice, and the owner made sure to stop by our table to make sure we were happy.
We will definitely be back!

Our favorite new Italian eatery! Their pizza is the closest to NY style pizza! So delicious! I was even able to have them prepare a deep fried calzone for me, Brooklyn style! Perfect! The linguine & clam sauce was prepared perfectly, with a more than ample amount of clams. So far every meal we’ve had has been perfect! Great atmosphere and location! We’ll be regular patrons of this restaurant! I highly recommend it!!!
