This place is located inside of the Los Jarritos Restaurant mall. It’s located in a nice part of North Pomona. P-Town has some little hidden gems of delicious restaurants. Pescaderia Mr. Fish is one of them. Where are you going to find a huge fish torta sandwich for less than $ 5 dollars? Here at Pescaderia Mr. Dish. The torta is filled with two breaded fried fish, avocado, tomato & lettuce. Everything inside in between two soft pieces of bread. Delicious! While you dine in for lunch, they ask you if you want some chips & salsa. Yes, please? This is a fish market that they specializ in fresh Mexican seafood. So many different choices of seafood plates to choose from.

It has a B grade in the window despite what Unilocal’s page says… so needless to say I did not go in.

Business opened a few days ago but already seems to have good clientele. I had the fish torta. It’s simple– fried fish, lettuce, tomato, and mayo. When they brought it over it looked very small to me but I wasn’t completely done when I was full. My husband bought two other things and our bill wasn’t expensive compared to other seafood locations. I recommend it to the seafood lovers.

My favorite fish market/eatery with the most bomb ceviche at such incredible prices and even more incredible service! I just stopped in for a quick bite of ceviche. I just wanted plain fish ceviche, but one of the workers suggested we try the spicy shrimp ceviche. He even gave us a sample – so delicious. But I settled on the fish ceviche($ 3.50 with fried torta and avocado). Next time, spicy shrimp for sure. They even gave us a basket of fried tortilla chips with amazing salsa. The restaurant is also really clean and a nice sit down. They also have fresh fish and produce right in the front so you know everything is of top quality. All the menu options looked so appetizing – can’t wait to try the fried octopus and fish! This is probably the fanciest, tastiest restaurant that takes EBT. My new favorite in the inland empire!

My second visit and I have decided I am not a fan. It is confusing at best — is it a take out fish market, a sit down fish house, a hot sauce market or a Mexican restaurant? I had fish sticks and shrimp today with salad, beans and rice. I ate about half the seafood and not hardly any of the other items and they were bland at best. When I asked for cocktail sauce they advised then do not have. I walked in at Noon and was the only person until 20 minutes later. Perhaps my concerns are already known by other past visitors.

Had the shrimp and fish tacos. I would recommend Mr. Fish highly. They don’t skimp on the seafood and the prices are incredible. I’ve been to Rubios and ordered they’re shrimp tacos, you get like 3 shrimps. Fresh seafood and clean environment. Fish case is well maintained and they offer you buy we fry service. Tilapia is 3.59 $ a pound and catfish is 3.29 a pound.

Nope! Good portions, but that’s about it. 40 minute wait, just for two coctel de Camaron, wth? Food tasted old. While waiting, I watched two flies in the kitchen, landing on food sitting waiting to be served. I made sure to keep a good eye on my food being prepped. I really wanted to like this place, but let me down

I’ve been wanting to try this place because it’s been catching my Unilocal eye recently. When you walk in there are two huge fish refrigerators that display Most of their products. They have(Asada, lengua, fish, shrimp) Tacos, burritos, tortas, ceviches, grilled fish/shrimp, fried fish/shrimp. I got the shrimp burrito for 6.99. They gave me free chips and salsa with my order. I was surprise how HUUUGE my burrito was and how they didn’t skimp on the shrimp. I usually eat a lot of food and I only finished half of the burrito. 2 meals for 6.99? Hard deal to pass on. The service here was great! I think my cashier was the manager, but he was friendly with me and very informative. I watched his interactions with other customers. He definitely cares about the customers experience and from what I saw, he has a good heart. I would most definitely come back here again and probably try the whole menu. Seafood, reasonable, people who care. How can I not come back! Most definitely recommend.

There have been several businesses in this space, which is around the corner from my boyfriend’s apartment. We were excited when we saw Mr. Fish opening up. It’s great to have an option of fresh seafood with super friendly, helpful service. I know it’s a small chain, but we are always treated with the same level of personalized service and friendliness as we would with a local, mom-and-pop place. You can go in one of 2 ways here. You can pick a pre-made dish or from the«you buy, we fry» variety, or you can take some fresh seafood home to cook yourself. The servers are always more than happy to offer samples, make suggestions, and explain all of the options. On our most recent visit, we wanted some shrimp to take home, and we were told that we could have them breaded and fried, seasoned and fried, cooked fajita-style, or with garlic and butter. We went with fajita style and for $ 13.99, for a tray full of delicious. HUGE shrimp with onions and peppers, that we used to make dinner for 3 days. For working people who don’t have much time, this place is wonderful. If you order fresh fish, they will vacuum-seal each filet in an individual package for you to keep it fresh. Tilapia was $ 3.50/lb last week, so we ordered 2. I wish there was more of a variety, but the freshness and prices are great. They also have several freshly made ceviches(fish, shrimp, spicy shrimp, octopus, mixed) every day and will gladly let you sample as many as you want. The menu includes burritos, 7 mares soup, shrimp cocktail, whole fried fish, and lots of other options… they even offer carne asada, which I haven’t tried because I’m usually here for the fishies. I love this place and how dang friendly and nice everyone has been. My only complaint is that I wish they would stay open later than 8PM!

Our first time here. Friendly, helpful staff. Siete Mares was loaded with seafood! Fried shrimp was great also. They gave us samples of Bacon wrapped Shrimp stuffed with cheese, Wow Really Fantastic! That is what I am going to get the next time. I did not know they had them, it turns out you have to ask for them not listed on the regular Menu. I would like to see a board with there specials posted. Can’t wait to go back!

What a mess! I might have gone on an off day but boy was it a miss. I’m giving it two stars for how nice the guy at the register was but everything else was bad. For starters nothing was working. The fountain drinks were broken. They cant print receipt paper for you either. Ordered a pound of fried shrimp, Coctel de Campechana and camarones costa azul. Total cost is $ 45. Up front it’s pretty pricey compared to other«Cevicherias». I ordered a fish taco but apparently that never made it on the bill. So as I waited for about twenty minutes I noticed the biggest problem with the place. The cooks are incompetent and the overweight guy with the goatee behind the counter is the worst. As they give out orders he asks the cooks«is this a shrimp burrito?» The cooks WHOJUSTMADETHEFOOD don’t even know. So he asks the customer if they ordered a shrimp burrito because then that’s what it must be. He then announces our food and I get my fried shrimp plate. It’s not a pound of shrimp. It’s q fried shrimp plate with rice and beans. After trying to explain to the guy that the shrimp on the plate couldn’t possibly be a lb I finally just pointed to the shrimp count. He took the food back and I could hear the other guy say«what’s the difference? He asked for fried shrimp this has fried shrimp». Then difference is I paid for twice as much shrimp you schmuck. We then got our costa azul plate that didn’t have French fries as ordered. Considering that there were only two couples in the restaurant and two cooks I can’t understand how they can get so confused. It could be because the heavy set guy is walking around singing a bacon song instead of managing. Now the food is overly fried and gross. Best part of the dishes were the French fries. The Coctel had four shrimp, one oyster and a little Abalon. Overall this place sucks and it’s because of the incompetent employees. On second thought they get one star… Nice ain’t good enough for two…

Best ceviche ever — this is a gem of a place with fresh fish and tacos. Can’t go Wrong with anything on the menu. We ordered the ceviche to go and weren’t disappointed. Chips are out of this world. A true gem of the place in an otherwise area with not a lot of variety

Place looks great. Mexican culture influence in design and furniture. Very authentic feel. All the seafood is fresh and made to order. Clean place and helpful staff. 5⁄5 would recommend.
