Walked in on a Sunday and was greeted by a very pleasant employee Place was clean and had A nice ambience. waiter came to the table and was a very cool cat also. Ordered the KOOBIDEH plates and is was FLIPPIN BOMB AS FXXX! had a buddy along with me who also loved the food and we ordered some to go. the only bad thing is we ate too much food and I feel like laying down the park and taking a nap for three days but this is not a bad thing. Definitely be returning to the spot way cool/​employees owners. I highly recommend people try this spot if you’re into Persian style food I give this place 10 stars.

I had delicious chicken, really well done, white meat only with rice, veggies, and a salad. Food was so delicious and amazing customer service, made me feel at home and very well taken care of. The establishment itself was very clean and looks like it’s very well taken care of. Staff was very attentive I really loved this place, will definitely be back for more.

I was in the area for work purposes and stopped by here for lunch.
You can’t go wrong with Mediterranean food in general. The portions are always plentiful and the price is always fair. Plus it tends to be healthier than other options.
This restaurant is no exception.
They have lunch specials on the back of the menu so definitely look at that before anything else.
What gets this place four stars from me is the friendly service from who I believe was the owner. He constantly came over to refill our waters and to just chat. Some people don’t like that but I love when the staff interacts with me and gives suggestions.

This a 5 star restraunt for sure. Food was so delicious. service was perfect. The food is so juicy and tasty im definetely coming back.

The food is amazing it is fresh. The owners are very courteous and humble. The restaurant is very clean. I love their koobedeih and the pizza is yummy. Nice place for friends and families.

The owners of San Giovanni are now running and managing Zuby’s. Customer service is awesome! Food is great. This is zabiha halal.

I may have bought takeout on an off day for them. I got the dolmeh and beef Koobideh. The dolmeh was so cold I think it may have been frozen before. All I heard were microwaves going off the whole time I waited. I love Persian food. Love it so much I crave it everyday. The Koobideh tasted reheated. I know because the middle was piping hot… i guess it is what I get for not going to my usual place in Corona. I will try this place again but only if I am desperate for Persian Food. Wasn’t very impressed :(

The only reason why I am giving this place 2 stars is because the food was decent and the older gentleman was friendly and helpful. It is obviously family owned. My boyfriend and I came here last Friday night for dinner, and we were very unimpressed with the service. The staff was inattentive. The only person I give credit to for trying is the older gentleman. The rest of the staff appeared to be standing and hanging around by the computer which was right by the kitchen. I probably will not be coming back here. As for the food, it was decent but not the best mediterranean food I’ve had. I would say it was also pretty pricey for what we got.

From the Service from their delicious Hummus and Chicken wraps, this place is 5 stars hands down!

Hole in the wall, but food and service were outstanding! I have to say this is one of the best Persian food I’ve had! The hummus was incredibly smooth, the chicken wrap was very tasty and bread was just right. I wish they were in San Diego!

We were craving Greek food and so we decided to Unilocal and look for one and this place popped up! First off best hummus I have ever had and we got chicken shish and the chicken was incredible super tasty and juicy and full off flavors! Customer service is also very great totally recommend this place!

To start off, the customer service was very good. The host made us feel comfortable and asked if we had Persian food before. He made a few suggestions and that made our choices easier.
The chicken and beef were very juicy and tender. The roasted tomatoes were so good.
I am new in town and it feels good to have found this great little restaurant so close by. We will definitely return often.

This was my first time here and omg ! The food is so delicious! Everyone was so welcoming ! Will come back here for sure !

5 stars if they would work on the little things, like not split 1 pita bread for two chicken kebob lunch specials ($ 7.50) — I was disappointed by that (see pics) and work on the salad dressing, it was pretty much just oil. Try adding a side on lime on their salads would have been nice too.
The chicken and the rice was very tasty, and their customer service was very nice but I don’t think I can live down the fact that they used 1 pita bread for 2 specials, it wasn’t even a ⁵⁰⁄₅₀ split ! More like ⁸⁰⁄₂₀ :/

This place was very good. The chicken is great. The only negative was the wait time but when u get your food the wait is worth it

Very good food, too bad it’s in a bad location. The shopping center was dead and kind of sketchy. There was only one other table of customers at the place, which is weird for a Sunday night at 7:30pm.
The owners were friendly, but service was just okay.
Mom and pop shop place with about a dozen tables. I found a
gift certificate which I had no issues redeeming. Paid $ 1.80 for a $ 10 certificate (minimum purchase $ 20)
The Food:
Yogurt shallot and garlic dip– LOVED IT! It was great with the bread. The bread on it’s own is not very good, but slather it with the yogurt dip and the eggplant hummus and we ended up finishing the whole basket or bread. The portions were big too.
Koobideh– Substituted the rice for salad. Delicious. Moist meat and the salad had a little of everything.
Beef Shish plate with Basmati rice– The meat was very tender and the basmati had a nice touch of butter.
Overall, the food was really good. I guess I can’t complain about the atmosphere because at least I know I won’t have a long wait anytime I’m craving some delicious Persian/​Mediterranean food.
Total– Approx $ 30 with the $ 10 certificate.

I’ve been coming here on and off when I need something that tastes just like home. Unfortunately the food is never consistent and differs depending on when you go.
The management and owners are nice and so is the ambiance. This one time I was there and on different occasions tables weren’t cleaned but were attended to soon or later. I usually get the koobideh or soltani and last time it just tasted like it came out right from the freezer. Not fully cooked, watery and just embarrassing as I took my friend to try Persian food for the first time. Last time I got the dizin and that was just delicious and well worth the price.
May be I should have mentioned to the owner that the food was the way it was, but I just didn’t want the awkwardness that would ensue since they kinda knew me. I would return again but would mention something if the food was inconsistent.

Ordered the koobideh lunch special for $ 6.99 to go based on Unilocal recommendations. The entrée comes with meat kabob, a grilled tomato, slice of flatbread, and rice. The meat kabob was delicious, but everything else was okay.
The place has a nice ambiance, although the guy at the cash register pretty much ruined it for me by asking me where I was from and started listing places (Vietnam? Phillipines? Korea?) I understand the need to make conversation, but starting off by asking what a stranger’s ethnicity is never a good start (at least in my book).
This was my first time trying Persian food; although I would love to try more Persian food, I don’t think I’ll be coming back to this place (at least not alone).
