Great Hawaiian food. Two of us shared the mixed bbq plate and it was so yummy. The portions are great for the price and the flavor was perfect. Service was super friendly and the place was very clean. I would definitely recommend!

I love this Ono Hawaiian. The staff is always so friendly and the food is amazing! Very good prices as well. The chicken katsu and the spam musubi are my favorites! Definitely one of my favorite places to eat.

Ordered a small party size BBQ chicken and BBQ beef from a sweet young lady named Stephanie. Very accommodating and had great customer service! How does the food taste? Great!

Came here for dinner with my parents. Ordered the family meal with katsu, bbq beef, and teriyaki chicken. Service was fast and they had already placed everything in to-go boxes and gave us plates with all the necessary utensils even though we said ‘for here’, which was convenient since it was way too much good for us to finish. The beef and teriyaki chicken were tender and juicy. The katsu was a bit lack luster, having more bread inns than meat, but it wasn’t the worst I have had. The macaroni salad was on par with other decent Hawaiian bbq spots. This is probably my go to Hawaiian bbq spot when I’m in the area and definitely beats the Honolulu Hawaiian bbq down the street by a landslide!

It’s a pretty typical Ono’s — very clean, good customer service, fastest food service I’ve seen for Hawaiian food so far. Food is good, but overpriced(as most Hawaiian bbq in the area is though, what can you do?) Got the Katsu mini meal with 2 scoops of macaroni instead of rice with no extra charge. Cashier offered me water cup which was nice since I wasn’t buying a drink

This place really knows customer service! My family and I were catered by their cashier, Mia and their manager Algelica. The food was cooked well and very tasty. We will be back to this location just for that.

Love this place, very clean and staff is really friendly. It’s close to home if you’re not in Hawaii. Had everything in their menu and food is onolicious.

Warning: my fiancé got food poisoning today! I have never been as speachless as I am right now after seening a 31 year old man throw up like a toddler. One of the nastiest katsui disasters he has ever had. Words can’t describe how disappointed and discussed we are. I ended up calling a woman named Lon to give them a heads up and she was rude and difensive. Luckily a proffesiinal manager helped with my conserns. Diarrhea and vomiting-he hasn’t thrown up since he was 4 years old and he felt something was so wrong after he took his last bite and it smelled old. Please don’t go here and get sick…

Walked in today and saw the cook scooping rice out of the cooking pot into another large pot with his bare hands. I mentioned something to cashier then walked out.

ONO? More like O YES! This is definitely my go to Hawaiian bbq spot! I love their chicken combo plate. Their Katsu is amazing and their bbq chicken is perfectly cooked! I’ve tried a lot of other Hawaiian bbq places where their bbq chicken is way too dry for my taste. And I love their spam musubis! Believe it or not I have had some pretty bad experiences with spam musubis at other places. Either there was just way too much rice or not enough of that spam sauce to give it that savory flavor. But the musubis here are just right and I always order at least a pair for myself along with my chicken combo. Only downside is I’ve had better Katsu sauce at L&L. But honestly, the chicken Katsu here by itself is so good I don’t think it needs that much sauce added anyways. I also don’t like how expensive it is to get a side of macaroni salad. I was craving some extra macaroni so I ordered a side which was about $ 2 – 3. That price would be fine if they gave me a good portion but they literally filled up a tiny container with the smallest two scoops of macaroni salad I have ever seen. Talk about rip off. Other than that, I always go here when I crave me some Hawaiian bbq and I always leave satisfied. The prices and portions are decent and the workers are always smiling and welcoming everyone who comes inside. And if you have any room left over for dessert there’s a yogurtland right next to the place for a quick sweet tooth fix!

The only plate lunch you ever need to order: Spam Egg & Rice! 2 scoops of rice, one scoop of mac salad, 4 pieces of spam, 2 eggs cooked the way you like… Spam served on a bed of lightly steamed cabbage. Spam Masubi is also great any day of the week! There are lots of Hawaiian Plate lunch places to choose from, this is definitely a place to return to!

Average food at a high price for Hawaiian food. Compared to L&L Hawaiian BBQ(which I tried last week), this place was just not as good and more expensive. I ordered the Mini Beef BBQ, which came with small portions of rice, cabbage, and pasta salad, as well as the beef. There was quite a bit of meat, and not enough rice to go with it. The BBQ Beef tasted alright to me; it reminded me of beef in the«Beef and Broccoli» dish found in some Chinese restaurants. My boyfriend ordered the Hawaiian BBQ Chicken Plate. The chicken was tougher, thinner, and not as moist as L&L. It took a few minutes to get our food(unlike my visit to L&L, when I got my order very quickly). The things that bothered me most about my order from Ono was that the pasta salad was not cold at all and some of my pieces of cabbage were way too big. A difference between Ono and L&L is that Ono does not shred their cabbage(I prefer shredded, or at least smaller pieces), and theirs is slightly steamed(which is about the only thing I liked from Ono compared to L&L). I will not be coming back here for my Hawaiian BBQ cravings.

4 stars for the food 0 star for the poor customer service (I will def give –10 stars if I can) Came here twice for the spam musubi. The first time taste really good and the spam is thick but not the 2nd time. They only use thin slice of spam plus there’s an Asian cashier lady in her 40s is so rude. We were in the line and ready to order. She looked at us knowing that we we’re ready to order but still she keeps talking to one of the staff. We waited for at least 5 mins for her to finish her conversation and come back to us. What customer service is that? When I finished the food I went back and tried to ask for extra napkins and she just ignore me TOTALLY. She was standing in front of me playing with her phone and at the end a chef knew i was standing there waiting for something so he came out from the kitchen by holding the tong in his hand and got me some napkins. Speechless!!! I hope Ono Hawaiian BBQ read this review and discipline that cashier lady because the rest of the staff there are all very nice and friendly.

It’s not the best Hawaiian I’ve had but it’s good old comfort food, fills my belly, and makes me happy. Both the katsu and the teriyakis are good. The salad that comes with the plate lunches which has a tangy dressing intermixed with edamame is far superior to the boiled cabbage in the combo plates. The new fish plate is worth a try as well.

First time trying Ono — wasn’t a bad experience in the least! The BBQ Chicken mini meal was a really good size, and the spam musubi was exactly what you expect it to be. The place is clean and quiet(since I went during slow hours).

The grill person created this sloppily crafted plate of greasy mess, which was soaked with sauce in excess avoid avoid avoid I don’t know who does the hiring but they are causing the establishment to lose paying customers.

If you’re looking for Hawaiian food, this is not the place. I don’t know about you, but I don’t trust any Hawaiian Restaurant that neglects to have a Loco Moco on their menu. To make matters worse, their portions are small, which is likely why their prices are cheap. If you’re looking for imitation Hawaiian food, Ono Hawaiian BBQ is not ONO … this place is simply a BBQ spot with island flavor. I strongly DONOT recommend this place.

I got an Aloha plate(chicken Katsu and BBQ beef($ 0.50 xtra) for $ 7.29) and their spam musubi for $ 3.59. They do have large portions and the food was fresh. The place is clean though it smelled faintly of paint when I was there last. The staff was nice but the wait time was a bit longer since there was a lot of people waiting too. They’re close to Target and Chipotle. They take card and there’s plenty of parking.
