Great food many choices from sushi to chicken wide selection very affordable I strongly recommend this place when your serving as a court juror really close to the court house they serve you really fast‼

I had the chicken bowl. It was way better than many of the chain restaurants. Their chicken tasted charbroiled which I enjoyed, therefore this will be my new spot.

I’ve been coming here love this place their bento box, love the California rolls, tempura shrimp everything is great there service priceless!!!

Very good food. Came in for dinner and ordered a spicy pork bowl, and my bf the half chicken. Chicken was a good size, filled him up. The spicy pork bowl was delicious, and indeed spicy. Was empty for a Saturday night, but the staff was incredibly friendly and nice. Very affordable as well, we have plans to come back for the ribs.

Looking for a quick, decent bite before an activity and we came across this restaurant which had ⁴¹⁄₂ stars. Decided to give it a try. Pleasantly pleased with the food offerings available. Polite staff. Food was good. I would eat here again.

I absolutely love this place ! Service is always good. The servers and cooks are so nice. They have the most unique menu I’ve ever seen. I don’t think this place gets enough recognition ! Everytime I go it’s always empty. And I have no clue why. I think most people don’t really look to go there because of the name. But seriously this place is awesome for lunch or dinner. Try it out !

This place is awesome !. They grilled chicken outdoor. it was so delicious. I would recommend to anyone loves fresh taste chicken. And try cajun shrimp as well.

I had the 2 item Bento Special with chicken teriyaki and shrimp tempura roll ($ 9.99) The teriyaki is excellent. A good balance of savory and sweet. The salad was also very tasty and I’m usually not a fan of salad. The family that owns this place is very attentive and nice. A perfect combination of good service, great price and tasty food.

BBQ or Sushi. It’s both! And very good. Get the bento and 3 choices cuz the food is that good. Comes with Miso Soup. Prices are great.

Went to the Newtown Grill and ordered some shrimp. also took advantage of some Ramen not many places were you can go in order Cajun shrimp and Ramen.

New ownership! The New Town Grill has a whole new set up inside the restaurant. They now serve Cajun seafood and have great deals on their bento boxes. You can have one entrée for $ 7.99 that comes with meat, rice, salad, and miso soup. Or for only $ 2 more, you can add another entrée/​side.
I had the beef bulgogi and it was really good! The salad dressing is some sort of ginger dressing (I think). And the miso soup is just a bonus. I would like to try their Cajun seafood next time!
Great customer service. I called in my order and the food was ready within 10 – 12 minutes. A great spot for WesternU students to get lunch right next to campus!

I am VERY picky eater but this place is really good.
I bought the bento box which came with a spicy tuna roll, teriyaki chicken, rice, salad, miso soup, and a slice of orange– only $ 9! Everything tasted FRESH and DELICIOUS!

I went there for the first time a few weeks ago and I was little disappointed. Workers were very friendly but the food was different from what I saw online. I checked the online menu and some pictures before going to the restaurant and it looked different.
I ordered chicken teriyaki and it came with salad and rice and miso soup. Chicken was a little too salty for me. Not sure if I will go back but if I ever do, I’ll try something else besides the chicken teriyaki. I’m giving 3 stars because the workers were nice.

The office recently moved to Pomona, so all my coworkers and I have been trying to find good places to have lunch.
I just ordered their chicken teriyaki (#17 on their online menu) and it was really bad. Chiken is dry and has NO TERIYAKI SAUSE with pieces of cartilage in every bite!!! EEK!
Fries are also not that much better and they look like their are the frozen pre-​package kind.
I was definitely expecting a lot more, specially with the other reviews, but I am very disappointed and will definitely NOT be coming back!

Came here for lunch on a Monday because of all the reviews.
I had the #1 Chicken Combo ($ 6), which included a half chicken, beans, rice, and a drink. The chicken was pretty big and tasted okay. When I think of a bbq sauce, I think of a smokey, spicy flavor. Their bbq sauce did not have that, and frankly it was just too sweet for me. I couldn’t tell if the beans came out of a can. I really hope not. And the rice was more like an Asian fried rice that had a hint of curry.
Good deal for the price though.

I was looking for something cheap for lunch today. Ended up here and I tried the Chicken Box. Pretty good deal for $ 5.99. I got a chicken leg, a breast and a drumstick along with 2 sides of potato salad and a side of rice. Everything was pretty good. The potato salad was my favorite. I had hoped that the chicken would have more flavor, but they had a variety of sauces to choose from to go with it. The service was very good, the two people working were very friendly and helpful.
I will definitely come back when I am in the area.

I am VERY impressed with this new joint that’s located in POMONA! Very seldom can you find a decent lunch spot in this neighborhood. Before I dive into the food, I want to mention that this place is a All-​in-​One type of restaurant. What do I mean? Well, they serve BBQ, Mexican food, and Japanese AND Korean food. Whatever type of food you are craving, you can’t go wrong with trying this place.
Their BBQ ribs were surprising soft and moist. Best part is that it is half the price you normally pay at a BBQ joint. Their BBQ chicken plate was also satisfying. Chicken was moist and smoky, and huge enough for two people to share.
Their food portion is HUGE (big enough for an averaged size male and his petite girlfriend to share AND to to-​go the leftovers and have another meal). Each plate special also came with sides of salad and macaroni salad. Salad dressing is very similar to the dressing served at Japanese restaurants with your sushi (pretty authentic and up to par).
The service was friendly, and the chef even brought out his homemade hot sauce. Definitely ask to try it if you do not see it in the front condiment section (it’s located in the fridge).
Very happy to see this place open up and hope that it will stay open with the same food and prices until at least when I graduate!
Checking off the BBQ and Japanese dishes off the list from this place. Next one on the menu will be their tacos and burritos.

Great place, reasonably priced and great customer service. Food smells good, huge portions and even better. The owner was also great real nice! I would most definitely come back.
