Hilltop Restaurant & Catering

Eek! Literally! this place really sucks! The service from the waiters, to the food gross! Wow and if you are a server with a bunch of band-​aids on your fingers wear gloves man!
I can only talk about the banquet/​restaurant area because I went to a holiday breakfast there. The silverware its old, looks dirty, doesn’t match…
Bad all over, would NEVER go back! yuck!

Okay so when I came to stay at the Shillo Hilltop the Hotel was not all that great… but I do have to say the the Hilltop Restaurant and staff was amazing. they where all so nice and inviting. and made sure to check on us more than usual which was great. Great food and very personable staff.

My coworker and I decided to go her on a whim. The restaurant is in a little obscure location up the ramp of a small little hotel. It does have a nice view of the street.
For appetizers, we got the Calamari. It came out as rings and served with mariners sauce. The batter was a tad salty, but not bad. The Calamari itself, not that great. They were so skinny that you were mostly just eating batter. Even though the batter was good, not worth it.
Surprisingly, the lunch sandwiches are good and decently priced. I got the Cajun rib eye sandwich. Nicely flavored and not over cooked. The best part, it it $ 10. It comes with fries or fruits.
Service wasn’t bad. The server who refilled drinks was better than the actual server.
Overall, food was decent, place was decent, and not a bad place for lunch. Next time, I’ll try the weekly specials.

HAPPY HOUR! Monday –Friday, from 5−7pm!!!

My parents threw me a graduation dinner party here in summer 2006. We had a big table reserved. Boy, had we wished we had sampled the food first! The food was nothing special at all. It was bland & flavorless. My parents didn’t like the food either. The interior décor is dated. Why go here when you have so many much better restaurants to go to?!
(I don’t really like commenting on the waitstaff unless they were bad for some reason or really went out of their way. If they were average & nice, that’s how all restaurants should be anyway.)

This review is for the restaurant located inside the Shiloh Inn Suites Hotel. The restaurant has beautiful views of the hills. We had dinner for two. The male host was just the right amount of attentive. The waiter was pleasant and cordial. The dinner was outstanding. I mean it was really fantastic. We ordered fish and chicken. The entrees came with rice and veggies. It was the best rice I ever tasted. The fish was incredible and light. The veggies a tad soppy, but it didn’t even matter since I was so full I couldn’t eat them anyway. The waiter even gave us free soda refills which was awesome. Pretty decent wine, too. It was a very very good experience. We were staying at the hotel which turned out to be a very nice place. We weren’t sure what to expect but were too tired to leave the hotel so we took a chance on the restaurant and were glad we did.
