Dunn-Edwards Paints

My girlfriend and I went to this store this past monday on Presidents day and I have to say i was shocked with how helpful the staff and how clean this store was. There was two workers I think their names was Rex and Frank and they where both very helpful with my girlfriend and i and walking us threw the things we would need to prep and paint our new condo.
Rex explained to us about the different paint products and didnt try to push us to buy the most expensive paint but explained what each product was made for and why we would want to go with one product and not the other. I also liked the fact that anything Rex was not 100% sure about he would ask his co worker Frank for help and together they made us feel so comfortable.
While we waited for our samples to get mixed Frank offered us water and asked us about our day and asked us if there was any other things we might have had questions about.
It was probably the best experiennce of customer service I had all day from after going to a Kelly Moore store before that and was ignored for close to ten minutes. And to top everything off Rex walked our samples out to the car for us!
I forgot to add we will be back in a few weeks to buy the paint and thank these two in person!

A BIG TIME THANK YOU to Dunn-​Edwards Paints of Pleasant Hill and its manager, Ryan Bagby, for donating 18 gallons of paint, buckets and rollers to spruce up the NorCal Courts Bocce Center in Martinez. All of the painting was done by a volunteer group of Olympic High School students (a great story in itself).
Anyway, if you need paint, building supplies or hardware, this forward-​thinking, community-​minded business is where you should go!

I will never again shop at a Hardware Store for paint. The customer service at Dunn Edwards exceeds excellence. The employees there were so knowledgeable, they answered ALL my specific questions and I really felt confident in my purchase.
I was in and out very quickly and next time I need paint I will come back to Dunn Edwards. Thank you so much to Lex and John for assisting me and to their manager Frank for encouraging your employees to take such strong pride in their service. I wish I could receive customer service to this standard everywhere I shop.

Jessica has been helpful and so pleasant to deal with every time I have been there. She also recommended Lloyd Eakes who helped me choose colors for my entire house. He is knowledgeable and his recommendations were excellent.
And my painter loved their paints. He said they apply extremely easily.
In all, a very positive experience.
