Worst massage ever. Lady smelled like food and cigarette. I asked her to be more firm and I got nothing but soft hands that did not want to massage. $ 45.00 for 1 Hr plus they make you tip before not after.

Well, things have changed at Touch of Zen. My favorite, Lisa, is no longer owner/​therapist and no longer works at Touch of Zen.
There’s new ownership and a new crop of girls. I give them a 3, just to give them the benefit of the doubt but can no longer recommend this place. If they keep to Lisa’s standards they’ll do fine; I’m not confident they will however.

I was in Concord on some Business and saw Touch Of Zen Day Spa. I figured I needed some pampering and a Massage. So I parked my Whip and rolled into the Zen Day Spa.
I was greeted by the receptionist. And I requested an Hour Massage .I paid by Discover Card .
I was then taken to the Massage room and told to get ready .
My Masseuse arrived 5 minutes later. She had fingers and arms of steel.
I was in a relaxed bliss in minutes. Its funny how fast an hour goes by.

I purchased a Groupon for Touch of Zen day spa. I called to set up an appointment about a month in advance. Two days before my scheduled appointment, someone from the Spa called me to cancel. I asked to reschedule and they only had a date & time that was not very convenient for me. I took the new appointment and arrived a the spa at the designated time. The spa was dark and closed. I called the number and was told that it was closed for remodeling. I explained that I had left work and driven a hour to make this appointment and the woman basically said that was my problem. She said they were remodeling and could not do any appointments. I asked why they had scheduled me during the remodel and why nobody had called to cancel or reschedule. She said they didn’t write down my number.
With this type of customer service, I do not know how they stay in business. As a spa, they are supposed to relieve stress, not cause it.

I booked a facial and a body massage with Zen first time this past Saturday, the ladies were really friendly on the phone and I didn’t have any trouble making the appointment.
However, after I checked in at the front desk they didn’t seem to know what they wanted to do with me. One lady said I should get my facial first, the other lady said I should get my body massage first (all in Chinese and I happened to understand Chinese), they couldn’t agree on who would do what for me. After about 5 mins Lady 1 asked one of the guys working there to do my massage but he said he was tired then lady 2 went looking for the phone to call another lady to come in to do my massage. It didn’t really matter to me whether I get my facial or body massage first but it felt like they weren’t prepared as they should be.
The facial was okay but the lady noticed I was cold so without asking she left the room and got me a blanket (thank you!) The massage was well… less than average as it wasn’t really a massage but a rub session. When I asked her to go harder she rubbed harder (lol)!
Not sure if I will go back again but if I do go back for a massage I’ll make sure I ask for someone who is more experienced.

I just got the groupon massage deal for a $ 40 full body hour massage. Last night I slept on the hardest leather couch. Plus, I have been having carpal tunnel symptoms pop up so my body feels like I got ran over. I called totally thinking that I would have to schedule a massage for another day but to my advantage they could take me in 30mins. Thank god! My body needed andys touch. Some parts of the massage are a little bit wired but I left feeling very relaxed and loose. I will totally be back and bring my friends.

First off it is silly they charge to use a credit card — come join the 21^st C. However, if you want an outstand Massage just ask for Jenny. She has professional skills and a caring manner. I feel asleep I was so relaxed. Also there is a gentelman who does the feet and he too is top notch.
Everyone I have been during over 20 visits has been polite, professional, and honest in their work ethic. The give you a full hour or a little more — they truly want to know that you are pleased with their services. John P

Love this place! For just $ 25 you get a 70 minute «foot» massage but really that includes a foot soak while they rub your arms, hands and temples, the foot massage itself, then a mini back neck and shoulder rub. Been there about 6 times and the staff is all very nice and polite. I will continue to be a loyal customer!
side note: If you want a really strong massage, great for athletes or those who have a lot of pain or stress ask for James! I guarantee you will leave feeling more relaxed than ever!

I’ve been to a total of 3 different reflexology places in the area and would rate them all 4.5−5 stars. However, I am hugely dissatisfied with this place. The massage is ok and could be great but the fact that Lisa who was giving me my massage got up to check people in, check people out, etc. 4 different times during my massage really irked me. Also she was talking and laughing with the others who work here (there is a receptionist and two other people in the front). Some brief whispers are understood, but this is crazy. I was actually about to walk out mid massage but instead took out my phone for a Unilocal review. I would not recommend this place unfortunately and will never be back. I highly recommend Creekside in walnut creek. Sorry guys.
