I’ve lived in this area for 30 some years. Pleasant Grove has only one beer bar. This is it. My biggest beef is they lack atmosphere or ambiance. They have a bar of course, pool table and a few tables. Looks like the only draw is the locals. It is however in a very nice location at the end of main street. I wish they put more into the décor, paint and cleaned it up a bit. I’ve been into many small beer bars and sorry this would be on the bottom of my list.

This is your typical dive bar and there is nothing wrong with that. The service is fast, the people are friendly, there are a couple pool tables and a juke box. Its not fancy, and it’s not polished but sadly it lacks the personality that gives other dives I’ve reviewed the thing that makes them special. Now I will say we only stopped in for one drink and it was a slow time so maybe I’m not getting the full experience. We will probably be going back at some point with some more friends and see if there is something we missed. But if you are in PG and want a drink, go on in and wet your whistle.

This place is fun friendly and has a nice old school attitude! I like this place I plan on going back I’d recommend to try it out if you have not been there

Isn’t it common sense for a bartender not to get someone without a designated driver SO wasted he can’t stand up and then watch them drive off? This is the sixth time my husband said he was stopping by to get one drink and came home falling all over himself. There’s only so much yelling i can do, the bartenders here should fucking know better!

Its an amazing dive in bar. I love the atmosphere, and everyone knows everyone. Which isn’t a bad thing, people are very friendly. The bartenders are amazing.

I like this place. Its was the first bar I visited moving to into Utah. Its was a Sunday and I was just driving around and saw the a Land Shark sign in the window and another that said«Open». On a Sunday? When I went in everybody thought I was a cop looking to bust heads. But after a min people started talking me. Over the last 3 years I could this«My bar» and I know everybody and they know me. Give it a chance it might grow on you too. See you there, I’m the guy that looks like a cop.

A friend brought me here. Trust me, unless someone brought you here, you’d never find it. It looks like an abandoned building. But apparently it’s the only place in town so people show up. Very blue collar crowd which isn’t a bad thing… except i showed up wearing my tuxedo, it was after 5! But this place really is not special, it’s not super clean, the bartenders aren’t anything special and they don’t have any type of awesome events. However, there is literally nothing else going on in that town and for all you alcoholics wanting a shot of Jameson this is your only hope. So that deserves at least an average rating.

I know the liquor laws are limited, but is it too much to ask for one whole shot of vodka in a vodka tonic? But since it’s Utah County I guess I can’t expect different. The drinks are watery, but the bar is open on Sunday and that’s impossible to come by in Happy«Dry» Valley.
