THIS location is the WORST. They are extremely inconsistent with their quality and portions. There have been multiple occasions when my wife and I threw our meal away due to the poor quality. Crunchy black beans, fat in the pork, lumpy sauce, and this is not just at closing too. This Costa Vida always is a disappointment. We live 2 blocks away and tend to go here out of convince over anything. I strongly recommend spending the extra time, goto the original, aka Café Rio, and get something that is better quality and more consistent. It’s worth it. Almost every time we decide to come back to this location, we are always let down. Mind you, this review is about this location, not the chain.

You must take advantage of the Thursday special. The small pork salad is the perfect size and flavor. This salad blows the competition out the window. With the special, they throw in the drink for free! Gotta love that!

This is a new favorite. I had the steak tacos and the steak was perfectly prepared, the tacos were fresh and flavorful and the rice and re-fried beans were the perfect accompaniment. If you are looking for a quick lunch with great flavor I would reccomend it.

Yes… I’m a fan. Especially I’m a fan of the salads. It’s a great fast food style mexican restaurant but the quality and fresh produce is the best. I’ve been to several locations and it seems to be constantly the same. The service is fast and furious, so if there is a line and there usually is you can get in and out fast if you are in a hurry. I took my finance for the first time and he gave it a thumbs up. We will definitely return often.

Wonderful place to find food that exceeds your tastebuds expectations! Simple. Affordable. Delicious. That’s Costa Vida. I’ll return again and again; you will too, once you experience their food!

I have had the steak burrito with the«hot sauce» not hot at all several times. It is very consistent and I enjoy this. One of the better Costa Vidas. I just wish they were open on Sunday like some other Costa Vidas.

H-E-double-hockey-sticks has this happy valley Costa Vida gone down the crapper. I’ve been coming here for about two years and will consider this my breakup letter. Keep in mind this rating is not for the chain as a whole(I’ve had mostly good experiences overall) but just this particular location. I’m almost at a loss where to start. First of all, this location doesn’t show up right in Unilocal or google maps. But hey, that’s not their bad(so I’d assume), so can’t really bag on that. Next, I had multiple nights where I tried to stop in before 9:30pm and even though the open sign was on, the schedule on the door and online clearly lists closing time at 10pm, the front door was locked and they were cleaning the lobby. Don’t get me wrong I can sympathize with high school kids wanting to close up shop and get home 15 minutes before close when no one is in the lobby but 40+ minutes? Seriously? Either that’s some major work theft going on or the owner just lets them off early. Regardless that blows when you’ve made a trip out of your way. I had another time I called in an order and was given a 10 minute estimated prep time. I got there 20 minutes later on a time crunch and they hadn’t even started making it yet. Next, on my last and final visit the black beans weren’t even completely cooked. But hey, maybe you’ll be into the free crunch on your burrito. I wanted so badly to give this place one star but as the saying goes it could have been worse. After all, you get to watch your food prepared in a clean, trendy lobby so there’s no funny business. Take the time to drive to a different location or Café Rio, you’ll find them easier on the maps anyway.

What a tasty selection of mexican food. So fresh and cheesy, this place does not scrimp on the fixin’s. I had the sweet pork salad and it was delish! Very clean place, the staff is polite and accommodating. Their tea was tasty too.

I’ve been eating at both Costa Vida and Café Rio for years, thinking they were interchangeable. FALSE. Café Rio is so much better. Costa Vida isn’t even close. We ordered a pork burrito, tacos, chips, and queso. The queso was not very good at all, and the chips were bagged chips. Café Rio has fresh chips and really good queso. I wish they used different cheese on their burritos and tacos, too. The yellow cheese blend is not as good as Café Rio’s white cheese blend. I was starving and didn’t want to drive farther for Café Rio, but next time I will. Also, their tortillas aren’t very good. Weird, mushy texture.

Yay! definitely a fan. Really similar to Café Rio in almost every regard. The sweet pork is the star of the show for me. It doesn’t matter if it’s a burrito, salad or quesadilla it’s good! I prefer the red sauce which they call«hot» but it’s really not that hot. the beef is my 2nd choice and I like it with the«mild» sauce which is a green chili sauce. Be sure to get the burritos«enchilada style». Service has been good the few times that I’ve been and the food is consistently great. Typically the line isn’t as long as similar competitors so it’s been my first choice for Mexican.

Out of all the Costa Vida places I’ve been, I love this one the most. The service is fast. The people actually have a little fun making your food & are very interactive. The setting is nice as well, plus they haven’t skimped on the food like the other places have. Well worth it.
