iSweets Cafe

We had a yearning for coffee and thankfully Unilocal guided us this way. iSweets Café is a cute coffee/​pastry shop within a strip mall of sorts. The place is cute and inviting and the owner was so nice. She convinced my friend to try vietnamese iced coffee (which is awesome-​sauce if you’ve never had it). It’s drip coffee with condensed milk. Sooooo good. They also have typical coffee options and an assortment of pastries. They also have soup and such so you can definitely grab lunch here. There are plenty of seats available or you can take it to go. They also have a check-​in special — free mini pastry when you check in. So do it!

Loved my expresso. It was done right. Fresh and strong. My pastry was delicious. Glad we have a family own bakery walking distance from my house. Can’t wait to come back.

Most delicious coffee you will ever have. Try the vietnamese coffee and the fruit tarts they are absolutely divine. They are also incredibly friendly and wonderful to talk to. This little café can easily become your regular bakery and coffee shop. I had the nicest late night snack there.

Love this place! It’s family owned — by sisters! I am obsessed with sweets and there are some things here I’ve never seen before — Rice Krispy macaroons (and since it’s an American spin on a French classic. They make their own marshmallow crème for them!) and homemade caramel cupcakes. One of the sisters grinds all the spices fresh for their chai tea. The mango ice uses fresh mango from their dad’s mango trees — talk about local. And it’s just plain cool :)

The coffee was very good and served to go in a coffee cup that kept it hot for a long while. Unfortunately, the Snow ice just wasn’t for me. The flavor of the snow ice (I picked coconut) was too artificial and the texture just didn’t do it for me. I think I also may have picked the wrong topping to go with my flavor (brownie bites). I’ll stop back if I’m in the plaza and need a coffee and the Snow Ice may be good for Snow Ice, I think I just don’t like Snow Ice. The service was prompt and friendly.

Saw this place on Unilocal and had to stop by for their mini pastries. We came here about an hour before they were closing but we were greeted politely. One of the server was adequately attentive and answered my questions about the beverages and the pastries. I ordered the hot chai latte and one of my friend ordered the iced chai latte. The medium sized drinks are of about $ 4 – 5. I loved my hot chai latte as it was full of cardamom spiced flavor just as chai tea is supposed to taste. My second friend got the iced Thai tea which was too sweet for my taste but my friend loved it. We also used the Unilocal app to get one free mini pasties each. My friends got the mini cheesecake and I got the mini strawberry shortcake which was my original intent. I absolutely loved the strawberry shortcake, as it tasted just like the Japanese strawberry shortcake.

Every thing about isweets is sweet! The pastries are delectable. I am particularly fond of the strawberry shortcake which has a melt in your mouth texture, perfect flavor and isn’t too sweet. The pastries go perfectly with the wide assortment of teas and coffees which include some exotic choices. If you don’t know what to choose, ask Helen or Sue for a recommendation. They are always happy to help. The snow ice is also a really refreshing change from the usual ice cream or frozen yogurt. The lychee is my personal favorite. Trust me, this little café is definitely worth a trip!

Food was terrible and really expensive ten minutes after eating I was throwing up the cupcake all over my brand new Benz and screwed it up

I purchased three cupcakes to take back to my hotel room for a late night snack. They were hard, dry and not very flavorful. Some of the worse cupcakes I’ve ever had. Only because it would not let me give zero stars.

Always on the hunt for the hidden gems, we came upon the shiny iSweets Café.
Let’s begin with a question… Where in Plantation do you go for desserts?
Let’s say you find yourself driving along in the hot summer sun and all of a sudden it hits you. The craving. Something sweet, but not too sweet. You wish there was a bakery around here and, you’ve searched… believe me you have… most of those searches turn up the same old stuff… who wants to go to the Cheesecake Factory? ugh… But oh no… not this day.
Unilocal comes through and finds this. iSweets café. Where did this come from? Let’s go.
What we found was a charming little spot along Broward Blvd. A family run bakery with loads of french inspired treats, loose leaf tea, organic coffee, and yes… The Snow Ice. I don’t really know how to explain it but this is a great treat! You’re just going to have to try it. We had a mango snow ice and it was very good! Also we tried a couple of pastries and yes an amazing loose leaf Sencha Sakura tea that was out of hand.
We met the owners who are super passionate about what they do. It was a real treat to discover this little place! We will most definitely be back to try more of their stuff!

Snow is extremely popular in California and I am ecstatic that its come to Broward. However I have to say the texture of snow in the places in Cali seem to be fluffier. Aside from that the taste was great.

Hidden gem of deliciousness!!! My husband and I needed a quick dose of caffeine and used Siri to find us some (took a few tries with Siri lol). We ordered their caramel lattes and it was so so so so yummmmmm. The owners (sisters) were extremely nice!!! Coming back again!

Great first experience at this sweet little desserts café! The sisters are very nice and took time and pride in explaining their menu. So happy we have a new local spot in Plantation where we can get special treats. Had the banana split creation with the vanilla shaved ice. Going to try the mango next time!

Tried shaved ice and got a chocolate cake for hubby. Pretty good. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. Didn’t have to go plates for shaved ice. Gave me a regular plate. If i am around I may stop by again

My wife learned about the this place at the July 4^th parade this morning in Plantation. We had just had Italian Ices in Coral Springs the day before, and wanted to compare. WOW. ISweets is a lovely place to enjoy unique, and outstanding desserts, and my wife loved their organic coffee with almond milk. The variety of desserts was incredibly impressive, from the most nutritious to the option to have toppings like in the big chains. But what separates ISweets it is a perfect place for dessert no matter what your mood or need — and their unique hand-​spun shaved ices are unlike anything I have ever tasted. Simply delicious and very nice service.

Best Tea and Coffee in the area !!! Great employees and it’s great to support local business

We had the German Chocolate shaved ice cream creation. Delicious & Deliteful… The sister’s that run this café are so sweet. Must have after dinner or for a lite snack/​coffee/​tea. The Vietnamese Coffee is a must! We will definitely go back. The baked goods are so yummy.

Omg… so wonderful. The coffee and desserts were incredible. The snow ice is to die for. Soo delicious. Everything is fresh and wonderful. Can’t wait to come back. It is a gem!!! You have to try it once and you will come back over and over again.
