Didn’t want to but feel I have to tell of my experience at RL Plano TX Saturday pm. Called in a togo order for family early Saturday pm. 2 separate orders; 8 dinners; $ 270. Went to pick up and guy at the bar handling the order brought out all the food unbagged and unseparated. Set everything on the bar and we had to help separate it. All condiments(sour cream, butter, ranch dressing, tarter sauce, coconut dipping sauce, ketchup, shrimp cocktail sauce butter) were all in 1 bag together so we had to separate those per order. Asked for 6 reg side salads and 1 Caesar side salad. Caesar wasn’t there and we were told that it was one of the reg regular salads just with added stuff like the other salads. We counted and were short one salad so we told him it must be the Caesar so he went back and got the Caesar salad and put in the bag. Gave us 4 cheese biscuit’s per order and when I requested another 4 for he charged me $ 1.99 for half a dozen. Not an issue of the money; it was the principle. Together our orders cost almost $ 300 and they couldn’t throw in 4 more biscuits. Then they forget the one dessert we ordered and had to go back to get it. Got home, and the Caesar salad was 1 chunk of romaine lettuce. No cheese, croutons or anything. The other salads were just lettuce and tomato. Food was good. However, I ordered one dinner that came with roasted potatoes and only got three cherry tomato size potatoes cut in half. I don’t know if this guy was new or having a bad day or what, but I was very very disappointed in the service for the amount of money I spent. This was for a birthday dinner and I can tell you I will think twice about going to this location ever again. Also we had to wait longer than usual for our order after we called in 25 minutes before we got there and wasn’t even offered a glass of tea or water while we waited. What is happening with customer service today???

So we have been taking our family for years and never had a bad experience until now we had a server that was not all there he brought the wrong drinks and did not offer to get the right ones no straws no silverware when our food came out no fill on the bread either and the young lady that brought ketchup put her sleeve in my husbands food as she reached across the table After paying and tipping I let the manager know what kind of experience we had she said to please come back and that they would take care of the bad experience so I did with just my kids and paid for my whole meal again because of the misunderstanding with Mrs Gina Mcintosh that the words take care of u means find u a better waiter but sorry about ur bad experience last time but thanks for paying for ur crappy one

They most definitely have gone down over the years. This used to be single Handley my favorite restaurant. Not anymore. Seems like the items get smaller and the price keeps going up. Something definitely is off.

Been to this location many times and went there couple of weeks ago food was very good as usual, waiter was lil rude to begin with which didn’t bother me till next day my credit card was used all over the internet. Called next day and informed the manager with the name of the server who denied the server doing anything wrong. Thought to call the police but then disputed the payments and called it a day, never going back again would go to other locations instead. 1 star is cause of all this non sense. 5 star for the food though.

I came on Saturday and it was surprisingly a short wait. Everything came out rather fast and the food was pretty good. I had the clam chowder soup and the seafood trio platter and I was way too full. The cheddar biscuits always good too. Overall pretty good experience with this location.

Got very sick from the shrimp and the manager by the name of Mary was insensitive and had a attitude when I reported it. I called to report that my mom and I got sick from the shrimp and she showed no concern. Then she said she could send me a gift card to make us «feel better» I clearly stated that I was just calling to report the incident for their sake just incase someone else got sick too. This manager by the name of Mary was terrible with her costumer service skills.

To dark and food was not very good. Server was nice but a dinner for two with one frozen alcoholic drink each was $ 50 + tip. Salad was bland just a lettuce, cabage, carrot mix with no cheese. Verte little vegtibles. I got a fried fish and it tasted so bad I barley ate it. Husband got crab legs and they were slimy. Frozen drinks were delicious but that was it. Not worth the money. Don’t think I’ll go back.

It’s Red Lobster… a chain… so not extremely high expectations for the food here so I was pleasantly surprised that the salmon New Orleans I ordered was pretty good. So much so I ate it all, either it was really good or I was really hungry. I do think it was a combination of both. LOL. It didn’t taste exceptionally Cajun however but everything was cooked well, no overcooking happened. I had the baked potato and broccoli on the side and it was all done well. Service was pretty good to, Hayden was super attentive, if not overly so. Overall not a bad experience. It was a Sunday around 4 and there was no wait.

I haven’t been to a Red Lobster in years(I’m not a big fan of seafood, but my boyfriend is). But this place is AMAZING! Our waiter was named Maurice and he was incredibly nice, personable, and on point with everything. My boyfriend had the Ultimate Feast and he loved it, very filling and fresh. I had this amazing deal they have going right now where you get soup, salad, entrée, and dessert for $ 16.99. I had the potato soup, house salad, Cajun pasta, and brownie a la mode. It was all fantastic! We will definitely be back!!!

I have eaten at several Red Lobsters, from Connecticut to Texas. Now, my favorite location is actually in New York. I have been to this location a few times, but I don’t plan to visit again anytime soon. My server, Tressie, deserves 5 stars. She was so friendly, professional, and attentive. I appreciated her excellent customer service. The food was delicious. My mom and I shared the lobster artichoke dip, and we scraped that dish clean with the chips. I ate the fish(grilled tilapia) tacos, and my mom had the shrimp tacos. Very delicious and filling, but we couldn’t finish them. They were even better the 2nd day as leftovers. The coleslaw wasn’t bad either. I’m not a fan of wild rice, so that wasn’t too appetizing to me. Now, one of the problems I had was the odor when we walked in,(smelled like an old basement). Also, we brought our own water with us, I hate the tap water in TX. We asked for glasses. The glasses didn’t look clean. So, we drank from the bottles with straws. I think they need new dishwashers. It would be nice if they updated the interior, or just give the place a thorough cleaning. I’d return for the food and service, but I’m staying away because of the funky environment(and I don’t mean James Brown funky either)!

Great service and staff. Consistent menu and food quality for the red lobster food chain. The coconut shrimp is always delicious, as expected. The ultimate feast is fantastic, it included a lobster, Snow crab and shrimp scampi. All was Cooked well and was not rubbery. The lump crab cakes were just as good. The garlic and cheese biscuits were served generously and we devoured them. Unfortunately we had no room for dessert, but the menu was very tempting. Overall a really good experience, I will be back for more!

The cheddar biscuits where amazing. It took awhile for my waiter to get my stuff out cause I noticed other people getting there food faster, I think mine just had a lot going on. I ordered the Admirals Feast and it was okay I feel it could’ve been way better.

I am a HUGE seafood person and RL was ALWAYS my favorite place to eat. Not anymore. If it were not for the biscuits and an occasional craving, I would NOT patronize the restaurant anymore. The food, service and the portions have become sub standard. I recently took my grandkids out to eat, as we do each week and RL hit the list this time. I ordered a dinner portion flounder and it looked as if they took a piece of fish and slit it down the middle. RL is now a place of my past, biscuits or not! My love affair with you is over. Sorry!

Great location and really good food. I had James, the server and that guy was the best server I’ve had in a long time. He was attentive, filled up our waters, and got us what we needed. The environment was great except the view outside the window was a Whataburger lol. Other than that, I got the Choose 3 special for a price of 15.99 and had the Lobster Alfredo, Coconut Shrimp, and the Garlic Salmon, it also came with a salad. The bread was already filling me up until the main entrée came by and it looked a lot smaller than I expected. I guess that is okay for the price. I wanted to get the lobster, but saw that it was close to $ 40. The last time I had lobster was actually when I was in Maine… For only $ 20! Anyways, I thought the dishes were small but when I finished eating, I was bloated. This is coming from a guy that eats A LOT!(Look at my other reviews) It was satisfying and I would come here again. I probably would not get the coconut shrimp because it was way too sweet. The salmon tasted like a typical salmon with pineapple cuts on top, so it gave the salmon a fruity taste, and the lobster Alfredo was amazing. I would get that entrée once more.

I’m from New York and when I moved here, the one thing I missed was good seafood. Now, what I will tell you is that Red Lobster in New York was like the fast food of seafood. So naturally, when I moved here, I looked everywhere but Red Lobster. I even went to Joe’s Crab Shack. Last night, with my thirst for seafood and my hankering for cheddar Bay biscuits in tow, we went to RL for date night. The line was outrageous. We waited nearly 45 mins for our table for two. We sat at the bar in the meanwhile and had some drinks which was a great way to pass the time. Once we were seated at our table, we had THEGREATEST server! His name was Dylan and I am convinced he is the zen master of Red Lobster servers. He was just the shiii… take mushroom. Let’s keep it Rated G. We had the garlic mussels which was a nice heavy serving for two with big fat, juicy mussels. It was so yummy. I had some dish with salmon, shrimp, and Lobster and it was delicious! I was expecting over cooked, gummy seafood and this was far from it. My partner had the ultimate feast and it far exceeded our expectations. Everything was moist and tender. Just delishy. We will definitely be back. Dylan was awesome! If you get him, give him a big fat tip because I guarantee he will give you an awesome dining service!

It is Saturday and the day of the week does make a difference. There was plenty of seating available when we entered at noon time. Ordered unsweetened iced tea. The tea is weak and may have been watered down due to hot tea being placed in the pitcher and over ice. We were served three of delicious Red Lobster rolls. Now there are two customers so why are we served three rolls? By the way you can purchase this mix at Sam’s and make your own at home. Trust me — they come out just as good as the one’s served in the restaurant. Ordered the«two item», create your own meal and for me that was a double order of fried clams. The clams came with a garden salad and rice pilaf. My spouse ordered the double order of fried clams and a baked potato along with a garden salad. Let’s take the items one at a time. The garden salad could have been a little more fresher as there was a lot of iceberg lettuce in the salad and that lettuce was mostly light colored and not all that fresh. Then the sides. The baked potato — well you look at my photo — was about 4 inches long. I think that is acceptable for a lunch meal but certainly not acceptable for a dinner meal. I had rice pilaf which appeared to be one large spoon placed on the platter. Once again not that much but OK for a lunch platter. Then the fried clams. It was truly a double order and the clams were cooked just right. Crispy and tasty. Even those there are a lot of small pieces of the breaded clams on the platter there was enough large pieces to make the lunch a good one. We had an excellent waitress that never let our drink glasses get empty and stopped by several times to see if we needed anything. Great service! The prices have been raised a little since our last visit. Today the price was $ 10.49 which was actually two dollars better than a competitor across the road and frankly I think the Red lobster food is much better than the competitor. We will be going back.

We recent dined at this location and were very impressed. The staff was very friendly and the service was great. I ordered the Ultimate Surf N Turf and it was delicious. The steak was prepared perfectly and the lobster was savory, topped with succulent crab meat sauce. We went back a second time a few weeks later and it was the same great experience. They even honored our coupon even though we hadn’t printed it out. We just showed them the email on the cell phone. We will be back!

The service was good, we were greeted at the door. The food is average. I got lobster and steak. The lobster tasted ‘generic’…meaning I could get the same taste cooking it myself at home. Nothing great, nothing horrible… just average taste. Innovate Red Lobster!
