Their Sesame Chicken when prepared extra crispy is one of the best that I’ve had in DFW. However, the General Tso lacked in taste and quality in comparison to the Sesame Chicken; however, the service is great, mainly because the manager is very welcoming and friendly.

Definitely my favorite Chinese carry-out in the Plano area. Quick and clean and can’t beat the coupon for the FREE Crab Rangoons. Can’t go wrong with the chicken & broccoli(make it spicy) or the Orange Chicken.

My biggest like with this place was the speedy delivery time of 11 minutes and the kind attitude of the employees. The food I ordered was: Sweet & Sour Shrimp, Shrimp Fried Rice and Crab Rangoon’s. The Crab Rangoon’s were decently large and with 4 of them, served as a very appetizing appetizer. They were perfectly cooked, although could use a little more crab. But there was enough to taste it. The shrimp fried rice was very normal. But not bad normal, from someone who’s been all through Manhattan, and other parts of the Tri-State, I’ve tasted A LOT of fried rices, and this one was the one I was a looking for. It had small egg buts, plump peas and just cooked shrimp, and a very non greasy rice. I’ve been looking for the well done delivery fried rice I could rely on. The Sweet & Sour Shrimp was my biggest gripe. The Sweet &Sour was a bit too sweet and ketchup-y, but was very smooth and warm. The shrimp was well cooked on the inside, but the batter on most of them were not well done. They could have used a little cooking. However, with the delivery speed, it wasn’t too terrible. The sauce could have been better, but it wasn’t bad. With great delivery speed, kind employees and decent delivery meals and great portions, this place is a great one. Best part is it is located near Plano East Senior High where students can purchase a meal with fried/white rice $ 6.50 with tax. I’d recommend.

This was only our first time ordering from Lite Wok, but we are really happy with it so far. In the first place, delivery time was exactly 40 minutes from when we placed the order, which is significantly less than some of our other delivery restaurants. I had sesame chicken, which was excellent, and my husband had the dinner combo with sweet and sour chicken and broccoli beef. His combo came with two egg rolls, which was a pleasant surprise since we only expected one, and they were so delicious. I usually don’t like egg rolls, so I’m really excited about this. My one complaint is about the fried rice, which I have seen some others mention. It’s true that it is a little underwhelming; I liked the flavor well enough, but there were no veggies or eggs, and it was a bit on the dry side. Mixed with my sesame chicken it worked out fine, and overall we were very satisfied with our dinner. We can’t wait to order from them again.

Went here cause we saw 4⁄5 stars. Was not a 4 star dinner. More like 3 stars. We had happy panda, sesame chicken, sweet and sour chicken, and beef and broccoli. New shrimp rolls weren’t good would not order again. Everything else we would order again.

My first time trying this place. I needed to grab a quick fresh meal. I had the chicken and snow peas over steam rice and it was fresh and tasty. I look forward to trying it again in the future

Ordered chicken fried rice and crab rangoons. The chicken fried rice lacked flavor. The rangoons were just average. JK China Garden is the much better option in my opinion. Going to try a couple others as well.

You know — when you can’t make good chicken fried rice something is really wrong. Got carryout for an early dinner as Mr. Wok’s was closed on Sunday. Then remembered why I have avoided this place in the past. Chicken tasted old, somewhat gamey. Not good at all. Spring Rolls not up to other places. Definitely advise avoiding this place.

I had a party for over 60 people catered by Lite Wok. I went with 4 Large Trays of dishes: Sesame Chicken, Wonderful Shrimp, Broccoli Beef, Singapore Noodles. Wonderful Shrimp was an off the menu item and a special request. They also included 2 trays of white rice with the order. The food was fantastic, people complemented how delicious the wonderful shrimp and sesame chicken was. A lot of people also had never tried the Singapore noodle their which is in my opinion much better and more flavorful then your run of the mill Lo Mein. I eat Lite Wok every chance I get when I am in East Plano and now I won’t think twice about having them cater a party. I think each tray was 35 – 55 $(Shrimp is $$ right now) and it was plenty of food for over 60 people. I think the only downside was that the broccoli beef had a ton of broccoli, but people still liked the dish. They have a very convenient location at Park and Los Rios, I think it is literally the closest food establishment to Plano East Senior High School. I am a huge fan of their Hot and Sour soup. For how fast their service is, and how consistent their food is. I definitely give them 5 stars. Their ability to sell large party trays at affordable prices is a plus, but the food is always exceptional.

This placed opened up when I was still in high school and it’s still there so that says something I suppose. It looks to be under new management though although I can’t say for sure. I ordered their katsudon and crab rangoons. Really don’t know why I ordered the crab rangoons since I don’t really like them anyways. The katsudon was okay. Portions were generous. No burnt aftertaste which is good in my book. Although I am definitely a rice guy, there’s way too much rice to vegetable ratio. The meat portion was just right but hardly any egg or onions. Staff seemed nice. They were prettty much just standing there because it wasn’t that busy at the time. Location is not that great. I guess they get more business when school is going on.

I give Lite Wok 5 stars for portions/price/food quality Today was my first time trying Lite Wok. The service was fast and friendly, and they had no problem substituting noodles(which were to die for) in my Szechuan chicken. The food was good, fresh and clean tasting. The veggies were cooked exactly how I like them, still crispy and firm! I got a two meal portion(for me) of Szechuan chicken with a soup and drink for just $ 6.50 after tax. Great for a starving student like me! BTW thanks for the info on the student discount, I’ll try that next time! Also, I just tried some of the best General Taso’s chicken I have ever had, not so much the taste of it as it was the quality and consistency of the frying of said chicken. Yum! Don’t forget to try café Bohemia a few doors down, it’s a cool, comfy coffee shop with delicious house-made food and great coffee.

So many great memories because of this place. Great place to eat at lunch time and when you’re done with classes(for senior release of course). I also like how I can still get student discounts even though I’m graduated. Great food(more so quantity than quality) for great price. The food comes out really fast too. So I give 4 stars. And if you like that spicy kick in your food, get the spicy sauce from the small fridge next to the counter. It tastes great with fried rice(Chicken is my favorite). Oh, their egg drop soup is delicious. Recommend this place for sure if you want cheap, fast food.

The first meal I had from here was OK, but the chicken dish was completely drowning in sauce, beyond what is acceptable for even the most ardent sauce-lover. The chicken was good though, so we tried the place again. This time we got the sauce on the side as a precaution. Everything was going fine until I discovered a napkin or paper towel in the rice. A big, wet, nasty napkin in the dish. Disgusting! I am done with this place. Oh, and the edamame was extremely salty, too. The place is probably normally OK, but that’s enough for me. I must be catching them when the terrible cook is on duty.

Really great chinese food for a good price. I get cravings for lite wok all the time. I worked there a few years ago for a year and a half and havent gotten sick of it. I have noticed that the language barrier between the workers and clients have given this place some bad reviews but they truely are really nice people. I recomend any of there fried rice dishes(i order them spicy) general tsao chicken kung pao chicken sesame chicken spicy flat noodle crab rangoons!

Have ordered for delivery from here several times. They have great prices are always quick. My favorite items from Lite Wok are the broccoli beef, beef lo mein and the won ton soup. The dishes from Lite Wok always have tons of veggies with them and are very fresh. I like the fact that the dishes are not swimming in grease and have a very crisp taste.

A few months ago, when we’d eat here befor we moved, the food was good & fresh. Unfortunately the service(little asian lady) was RUDE to the EXTREME! Still, we liked this place. The interior was ok, too. You could almost say we were fans, but then… the witch… so nope… 3 stars rather than 4.

Well, we were told we would have a catered lunch today at our other office… but the Little Ceasar’s never showed up. Apparently they forgot about us. So, off we went trying to find lunch close by. Lite Wok it was. The lunch special came with an entrée, steamed or fried rice, and either a cup of soup or an eggroll and a soft drink for $ 5.90 including tax. K had the Almond Chicken while F and I had the Bourbon Chicken. K was not at all impressed with her selection. She said the chicken tasted funny and the vegetables in the mix were pretty much raw. On the other hand, the bourbon chicken had a pretty good flavor. It came with 3 stalks of broccoli and some corn. My co-workers and I are not on this side of town often, but K said if we ended up here again, she would order the Bourbon Chicken also. It was good, but not as good as that chain in mall food courts around Texas offer. 3rd star is for a lunch under $ 6.00
