Kumon Math and Reading Center of Plano – Four Corners

Our son have just started kumon, so this review is not going to be able to speak for his growth and development yet. I will update in the future as we see progress. But I will talk about the setting, people, etc. The place itself is bare bones. Very basic tables and chairs… Worn out carpet, with baskets and baskets of studying materials. Not a nice /​kept up place. This doesn’t however affect enrollment as if you go during their peak times, the place is probably over packed. Now one observation I have is that the students appear to be 90% Indian race. perhaps maybe that’s why their ethnicity does so well in school? the person who helped us get enrolled is super nice. But otherwise, I suppose if you are looking at this review, you are probably more interested in curriculum vs the setting. One thing is, it forces you as a parent to be held accountable to work with your kiddo during non kumon days. I suppose that is a good thing. But definitely not cheap to be getting some handouts for 240 /​month (that’s two subjects). Either way, more details to come as I see if there is any progress with my little one.
