Management of this center thought if they stalled the lease company three months, they would flinch and they could get a deal on the lease — NOT. At the last minute they had to fold, sell their client list (wink) to Texas Family Fitness and move locations to Independence and Legacy. They moved into a place ¹⁄₃ the size that has NO SHOWERS, NO LOCKER ROOMS. I’ll finish out my term with them but will NOT re-up. So now it’s overcrowded and they are still selling memberships — what? That’s audacity.

You get what you pay for. Express Fitness gets you in the door with a monthly fee that is ridiculously low (of course there are more fees associated) then try to hard sell you like you are buying a cheap timeshare.
Facilities smell funky, and in the evening when I would workout after work, most of the machines were slimy/sticky like they hadn’t been wiped down all day… I would rather pay a little more at another place with newer equipment, and not have the worry of getting ringworm.

Great gym for the price… good equipment… fun classes —
but the inexperienced staff leaves something to be desired.

when you cancel your membership that they follow through. i was charged 6 months of fees because they lost the paperwork and they refuse to refund my $$$!!! grrrrrr

Great gym. The price cant be beat. Just beware of going there around 5 in the afternoon. There’s a good chance you wont get a parking spot! Lots of machines to work out on. The class selection could be better, but that’s about my only complaint.

Great gym — for only $ 20 per month with no contract. The gym is clean, the weights and aerobic equipment is new and well maintained
