Hours should be changed to reflect that they don’t open until 6:30. We put in an order through Unilocal, and it let us pick up at 6:00, when they opened. Needless to say, we were hungry and the food wasn’t ready. But hey, no problem we weren’t in a hurry anyway. We waited a half an hour and the manager apologized profusely and we were on our way with wonderful Indian take away. The Gobi Manchurian was a tiny bit dry, but the Butter Chicken and Chicken Hyderabedi were spot on. Bellies full, the Gulab Jamun was almost uneaten, but I couldn’t resist… just the perfect level of sweetness. Recommended.

Food is below average. All the biryani tastes the same. Their service is poor. Then They charge 18% gratuity by default.

This is a new place. The ambiance is quite good. The service is OK. The best part– Biryani is superb. I had ordered two chicken biryanis and we loved it !

Serving and delivery take ridiculous amounts of time. Twice they have messed up the orders. But the food tastes good especially Chicken Biriyani and Chicken, 65 so I have to keep convincing my friends to come here. If they could improve their service it would be very nice.

The food is decent(4⁄5 — good flavor, chicken was a great consistency) but was lukewarm by the time I got it. My colleagues got a tandoori chicken and a vegetarian option and enjoyed theirs as well. Delivery service was atrocious(1⁄5). I placed an order at 11:35AM on a Wednesday, and did not receive the order until well past 1:35PM. I did not receive any notification that food was going to be late until just ten minutes prior to it arriving. Needless to say, I will not be ordering delivery here again. Total rating for the experience(2.5÷5)

This Indian place is restarted by new management, the old management was really good in providing tasty food like Biryani but the new management is worst in providing the tasty food like previous owners, even they hiked all the prices. I won’t suggest to taste food here.

We went there after looking for a good Indian restaurant in the Edison area on Unilocal and were pleasantly surprised. The goat biryani was excellent — possibly the best we had in the NY/NJ area. Highly recommended. The host was also very courteous and took care of us.

Food is excellent. Good portions at an affordable price. Sam was a great host. He catered to the level of spice I requested. Clean environment. Can’t wait to bring my friends here.

Thanks to my lovely girlfriend, we eat here a lot. And the owner is really nice and couldn’t be anymore accommodating. He knows exactly what we order and hasn’t gotten any wrong yet. If you like Indian food try here and compare, you might not go to any other spot

Great home-cooked taste. I ordered dal, onion pakora and chicken biryani I would have given a 5 star but they are starting out and didn’t have chaas or tamarind chutney. Sam, the waiter/maitre d’ was wonderful.

After reading a lot of awesome reviews for this place, we decided to try this restaurant. We ordered Crispy Babycorn and Kadai Paneer. Both of them were pretty normal. Nothing great about the food. Being an Indian dominated area, the expectations were a lot higher. I have had much better Indian food in a much native american area. Even the service was very slow. I would not recommend this place !!

I was in the area and craving Indian food. I stumbled upon this restaurant by using my Unilocal app. Upon entering I was greeted by a very friendly man named Sam. He seated us and immediately took our drink order and poured us water. Throughout my meal I never had to ask for my water or drink to be refilled. I must say that this man truly enjoys his job. He continually checked on me and my friend and was the most attentive, happy, smiling, polite waiter I’ve had in a very long time. The menu looked interesting. I ordered Tandoori Chicken(yogurt marinated spicy chicken made up of legs and thighs.) which was very tender and juicy, and seasoned just right. It had red sliced thin onions on top of it and a piece of fresh lime. I also ordered Chicken Vindaloo(it’s an Indian curry in the region of Goa the cuisine of Mumbai.) I ordered mine with medium heat. I like some spice to my food. This dish was really, really tasty. It had chunks of succulent boneless chicken and chunks of potatoes in a rich curry sauce. All the dishes came with basmati rice. I also ordered Garlic Naan, Roasted Plain Roti.(these are both 2 different types of homemade flat breads.) I highly suggest getting the Garlic Naan. It was soft and had wonderful hints of garlic and herbs.(who doesn’t love garlic?) The Vindaloo had such rich sauce I couldn’t help but to use the Naan and Roti to mop it up. I was looking to get a Rosewater Lassi.(thats a yogurt based drink with either Rose water or mango purée blended in it.)My waiter Sam suggested trying a Mango Lassi they didn’t have Rosewater. Well, I pretty much love anything mango. I took a sip and I was in heaven. It was like drinking a thick mango shake.(If it had some rum in it that would be even better.) My Mango Lassi was so good I couldn’t stop drinking it especially when eating spicy food. It cooled me right down. Again, my waiter Sam came over and removed all dishes when were finished with it right away. This place takes credit cards which is a plus. This is a small casual restaurant in a strip mall with a modern twist. There is no liquor license. They a have plenty of parking and takeout too. They serve Vegan and Vegetarian dishes. From the looks of things I could tell everyone was enjoying their food. I look forward to returning real soon.

A stone throws away from where I live . Great food especially chicken biryani and chicken fry. But, some times the food is not as great on weekdays as it is on weekends.

Food is excellent. I don’t think you can find a better place for Indian cuisine in this area. I have read some reviews before I come here. Now I know why people talk about Sam so much. He definitely serves with his heart and smile. It’s my first year in America and this place makes me feel home. Nice place. Nice food. Unbeatable service. And it’s not pricey. I’m hungry already.

Had a great time with some friends here last night. Sam was out waiter and one of the best I’ve ever had at that. Our water was always full and he was always there to bring anything extra that we needed. Be also recommended some great dishes to us non brown people. We started off with the gobo manchurian and the chicken 85. Next we had the chicken sheikh from the tandoor, chicken hyderabadi, goat curry, and the paneer saagwala. We asked for everything«spicy» but they knew we really meant white people spice which was perfect. In summary, Sam is the man and I highly recommend this place.
