Love this place!
I’ve tanned before in San Francisco but that place felt way too pushy and just didn’t work out at all. But here at Rockstar the front desk was super helpful, sweet, and knowledgeable. She gave me the low down on all the beds, packaging, and lotions. I learned a bunch in just like the 10 mins I was speaking with her– I wish I remembered her name but I’ll ask next time because I FOR SURE will be a returning client.
I like the stand up bed that allows me to play my own music while I’m in there. But there are others that are great too. They have 50% off lotion packets if you don’t already have your own to bring, free body stickers which is cute, complimentary mini water bottles, and candy wrapped in the towels :-)

I LOVE rockstar!!! I have been coming here for years and we really needed a great tanning place in this area. It’s really gorgeous in the inside with the rockstar theme and the beds are super high quality. I take my boyfriend here because he burns easy and they have a sensor bed that he can go in for the full time and it adjusts to his skin. There’s a browning bed to make your tan perfect and they airbrush. Best part of all is the staff is super nice and never try to push anything on you which I find super annoying about other places. They know their tanning!

I love going to this place. The beds are high-​end quality. They have a large range of selection in bed types based on what kind of tan you want. They’re a little pricey but its worth it. They usually always have monthly deals. And the staff is always great too!!!

Coming back for a month or two to prepare for summer. They offer many options for different budgets and goals. I’ve used their custom spray tans a few times to prepare for photos and vacations. I specifically love that the location is beautiful, clean and looks brand new. The décor gives you an LA feel but not LA prices. I feel fresh afterward and trust their top of the line beds. Even looking at the big bed rooms makes you feel like a celebrity. Pinole is a small town so having this gem close is very nice. The one tiny complaint is that the price for the Pinole area is steep but you are getting what you’re paying for; quality beds, good service, and convenience of the location.

Reception was super friendly and helpful. She didn’t try to force me to pay for a membership or more tans than I needed. I ended up purchasing a tanning packet either way and it’s good for up to a year. The place is very large and clean and the beds look very state of the art. I’m a fan and shall return for my faux glow!

Let me just say I had a bad experience at another salon and was very hesitant to come to this one especially because of my last results, I spoke to Angela? I believe is her name. She gave me the options of Mystic tanning or spray tan (done by Angela). I have done both during the years now coming to this salon, and let me just say Wow! I love my results, everytime! I usually do the spray tan by Angela only when I have special occasions to go to and the Mystic Tan when I just feel like I need a little more color on my skin, but not as much. Angela is great and always does a great job! Plus the salon is super nice and clean. Thank you!

I love this place! The décor is super cute, the beds are always clean, the service is great & the ladies working the front desk are always super friendly (especially Angela). They always put a lollipop in your towel & offer a cold bottle of water, which is always refreshing after a tanning session. I definitely recommend.

I’ve been tanning here for a year now. Their service is great, always greeted with a smile, clean beds, many different options and you always get a lollipop and a nice cold bottle of water after every visit.
I’ve been tanning for 3 years now and after I relocated for work I had to search for a new tanning salon. At first I had to try a few different salons before I came across this hidden gem.

In Reading some of the reviews for this place I was like WTF, I’ve been to several tanning locations and hands down best customer service and best beds, super clean, super clean, super clean. beds have new lights and I can go just 2 times and people notice the tan not like other places were you go for a week to get the same results, you have to remember when reading the other reviews that some people are really stupid, I’ve been going to rock star for over a year and If i could find one thing to say it would be that they don’t have an alarm to wake me up from falling asleep after lights go out, but that’s not there fault that they have a place that’s so relaxing, we’ll I guess maybe it is…

Clean shop. I’ve been tanning for a little less than a month now and I think it’s worth the prices. They keep everything clean & sanitized. The tanning bulbs are on-​point… and you leave with a nice bronzed look & a free lollipop! :) I save the lollis for my son. He is five & loves anything with sugar. Yikes.
Mother & daughter run it well… in my opinion. I enjoy a nice local «mom&pop» shop. I think I definitely want to try the mystic HD or spray tan. I may need to and update the review… But as for the tanning beds & cleanliness, they get an A+ from me.
