No Limits Karate Academy

Our son has been taking classes at No Limits Karate since he was 3. It’s been the best experience. In the past 18 months, he’s learned respect, discipline and coordination. Mr. Wayne and all the instructors are amazing with the kids. Not only do they teach Karate but they teach life lessons. It’s been exciting to watch our son’s progress and we are looking forward to many more years at No Limits Karate.

We absolutely love this dojo. We found Mr Wayne a few years ago and have been so thankful we did. He teaches respect, discipline, confidence, life skills and so much more. We didn’t just find a dojo here however, we found friends who became family. I would highly recommend this dojo.

No Limits Karate Academy is the place where discipline and responsibility are developed. Mr. Wayne is the kid whisperer — you won’t believe what is learned in such a short period of time. The kids build relationships with each other and so do the parents. It is like an extended family. Try them out and you’ll be very pleased.

My grandson goes here and we wouldn’t have him anywhere else. Mr Wayne and staff are the BEST. Going above and beyond for the kids!!! Awesome Dojo!!!

We have been attending No Limits for 6 months now and absolutely love it! From day one, we have felt at home here. Our 5 year old loves his teachers, can’t wait for class, and is constantly running around the house practicing. We love that the teachers really care about each student, teach them non only self defense, but other important lessons like healthy eating, what to do in emergencies, if a stranger approaches them, etc. Our little man is thriving at No Limits and we couldn’t be happier. If you are looking for an excellent karate studio with quality instruction in a warm and friendly environment, this is the place!

My kids and I are all taking classes with Mr. Wayne, and all three of us look forward to the next time we can go to class. Good instructors make all the difference in the world and Mr. Wayne certainly has the gift for teaching. He teaches more than just Karate to the kids. I see a big change in my son in regards to his confidence, focus and discipline. His grades have gone up in school, and he’s much more outgoing. My daughter loves the challenge each class brings and enjoys the camaraderie with the other students.
The adult classes are a great work out, a ton of fun, and I know that I’m learning Karate from someone who truly has a passion for teaching it. On top of that, I get to sparr with my son during the family classes on Saturday which is great bonding time for the two of us.
I cannot say enough good things about No Limits! If you are looking for a Karate school, try them out for a month, you will not regret it.

Both my 8 year old son, and 11 year old daughter have been attending No Limits Karate Academy for over a year now. Mr. Wayne & Mr. Mark do an AMAZING job with them! They are both part of the No Limits Competition team. I highly recommend NO LIMITS.

Mr 6 year old son and I both attend No Limits Karate. No Limits Karate is the best martial arts school I have ever attended. I have trained in Aikido, Oshin Ryu, taught Tae Kwon Do, taught self defense to law enforcement as a police officer and was on the boxing team in college and in the military. Mr. Wayne and his staff not only teach traditional Shotokan Karate but they also make it practical to real life and real world scenarios. For my son I wanted a school that instilled tradition, discipline, and honor, would teach him usable self defense skills, and how to work hard towards a goal. He is getting all of these and more here.
Since I have taught martial arts to adults and children years ago there are few insights I would like to pass along. Be wary of any school that can tell you on the first day you enroll when your child will get a black belt. A black belt has to be earned, and any school that tells you a date up front does not make people earn it, they are handing it out. Earning it means your child will have to work hard, practice, and study. At belt testings if your child has not done all of these they may not pass, its a life lesson. A school that hands out black belts usually doesn’t have testings they have «graduations» or «promotions» ask them if they have ever had a student fail. A good school will tell you that no one is guaranteed to pass every testing. Mr. Wayne makes sure your child has the requisite knowledge before suggesting your child test, he will also meet with the parents to make sure your child is performing at school and behaving at home before allowing kids to test. He constantly reinforces with the kids that their priorities should be family, school, and then karate. I have observed him do children’s testings and the kids are really tested so they feel a sense of accomplishment that they earned a belt.
Mr. Wayne and Mr. Mark are wonderful adult and instructors. However, their method for teaching children is the best I have ever seen. Mr. Wayne’s experience and knowledge is exceptional. Unlike many other school owners he is not stuck up or unapproachable. He is always willing to take time to answer questions or speak with parents about any questions they may have. We will definately be here for a long time.

My four, and six year old have been enrolled since April and June respectively. Mr. Wayne, the owner and instructor along with all the other instructors and employees are fantastic with kids. They are VERY patient, yet stern with kids not having the best day. No per class fee, you pay for the month and go to as many classes as you like.
