We walked in here on Friday night to pick up a few pieces of chocolate. The employee was incredibly rude and seemed almost put out when we asked for more items. (We got 2 apples, 2 strawberries, and a few Vanilla Creams.) When it was finally time to pay, the employee placed the chocolates on the scale and ended up dropping a couple of the vanilla creams. Immediately, she said «oops — I’ll get you some fresh ones.» and immediately went to replace them, leaving the ones she had dropped, on the counter. After we paid, we were curious about where the dropped ones were going and we watched as she placed them back into the display. My friend wanted to go back in and say something to her, but I was just in a hurry to get out.
When we got home, the caramel apple we cut into was all brown and squishy on the inside.
We won’t be going back to this location as we won’t know if the food we’re consuming had been dropped before after someone ELSE purchased some. Pretty gross.
